Chapter 42: [My name is Li Mo, and its (the notebook's) goal has been achieved….]
[Using the notebook's hints, I learned some of Bizarre Kiana's rules and used them to resolve the current predicament, successfully completing the third day's ritual.]
[But before it gave me the real hints, it displayed a bunch of meaningless text, dragging out my time.]
[By the time I returned to the auditorium, Shigure Kira was on the verge of death, and all the righteous and honorable Valkyries had fallen in battle.]
[The truly brave and righteous Valkyries whom I rescued had all died to the head ghost attacks… The rest, except for Saori Tsuruyo, who was forcefully stuffed into the black coffin, those still alive were almost all selfish and opportunistic, only caring about themselves.]
[That's reality. In disaster after disaster, the only ones who survive are the "bad guys." Survival of the fittest. I have nothing to say. To me, even if they're "bad guys," as long as they don't cross my bottom line, I'll keep my promise and protect them. This isn't just an excuse to have enough people for the burial.]
[On the fourth day's mourning, I encountered a true dead end.]
[Not only was there mourning, there was also the ghost banquet.]
[I sat in a seat that could only be occupied by a ghost, hurting myself, constantly intensifying the bizarre revival inside of me, but this wasn't the worst possible outcome.]
[All the ghosts who had heard the death announcement poured into the auditorium, ready to compete for seats.]
[Having died twice, and after constantly using bizarre powers, I had already lost the chance to reset for the third time.]
[I had once again entered a dead end… Everything was like a pre-arranged script. Every person was being pulled along by invisible threads, performing a clumsy and ridiculous play.]
[Heh, all the thinking, all the struggling… it all seemed so incredibly laughable, so utterly absurd.]
[I opened the notebook once more. I was opening it more and more frequently. I knew it wasn't a good thing, but it always gave me timely hints.]
[Even though I knew it had ulterior motives, I had no other choice.]
[Like every time before, the notebook displayed its contents on the first page.]
[And this time, the solution that the notebook provided was even more insane.]
[Bring Bizarre Kiana into reality, fan the flames, and use her to kill.]
[I had no choice. I did as it said, though with some caution. After all, using a tiger to swallow a wolf was too extreme for me.]
[If Bizarre Kiana were to lose control, this world, and perhaps even more worlds, would be affected.]
[Perhaps Elysia and Mei had a way to deal with her, but I would definitely die. In front of Bizarre Kiana, who controlled space and time, my power was like a drop in the ocean, utterly insignificant.]
[I would die, and I would also be reborn.]
[My name is Li Mo. I am already dead, and yet I'm still alive.]

The contents on the notebook started to distort. All of the pages were damaged, but they quickly recovered.
In the end, only one sentence remained—
[My name is Li Mo, and its goal has been achieved…]
After that, the notebook closed itself, lying quietly on the ground, watching the "intimate interaction" between Bizarre Kiana and Li Mo.
In reality, Bizarre Kiana, who was enjoying her lover, didn't notice Li Mo's strange movements. She didn't have human intelligence. Even if she saw it, she wouldn't react.
Every bizarre entity only acted according to its own unique rules and patterns.
Li Mo's spine was exploring outside of his body, trying to find the other half of the spine that it could perfectly connect to.
It had to be a perfect match to meet the criteria for connection, like human organs that would have severe rejection in different bodies.
A bizarre entity's spine would only connect to a spine that belonged to itself.
The spine moved around in a twisted manner as Li Mo's head gradually disappeared.
Suddenly, the top of the spine touched the other half of the spine on the neck of Li Mo's headless corpse.
Immediately, the two were connected, fused together seamlessly.
Li Mo's mangled, incomplete head instantly recovered, and began to retract downwards, returning to the headless corpse.
He had turned into a complete human again.
Although at this point, Li Mo still hadn't woken up.
His consciousness should have already dissipated. However, it had been forcefully kept alive by some kind of curse with its own rules. And his consciousness was currently adjusting, adapting to the familiar yet new body.
The evil voice inside of his mind rang out once more. It was the beginning of Li Mo's rebirth.
"You're finally dead! Wait…"
After a brief pause in its judgment, the Unlucky Ghost once again wailed, "Ahhh! It's that woman! I'm going to die! I'm going to die again!"
The Unlucky Ghost quickly hid in the depths of Li Mo's consciousness and played dead.
Bizarre Kiana stood still, tilting her head constantly, swaying left and right. Her vacant eyes expressed confusion.
She didn't have the ability to think, and her spacing out was just her rules and patterns changing, judging whether this Li Mo was the Li Mo whom she was devouring.
She sensed the appearance of a new existence, but that existence had also quickly fallen into dormancy.
The process didn't last too long. Bizarre Kiana knelt down, her limbs on the ground, like a clingy kitten. She slowly crawled onto Li Mo's corpse.
Her long and slender thighs rested between Li Mo's legs. Wherever the moonlight shone, her silky hair, like white satin, fell on Li Mo's lifeless body.
Her pale, but beautiful face drooped slightly, and a charming, enchanting mist slowly exhaled from her mouth.
This wasn't caused by the bizarre rules and patterns. Bizarre entities didn't need to breathe, nor would they do anything pointless.
The shyness before them was the lingering female instinct of "Kiana," the young girl.
It was an ambiguous position, female on top, male on the bottom.
This kind of atmosphere, in most situations, would lead to something indescribable. However, the girl's mouth was covered with bloodstains, and the movement of her bizarre eyes made people feel as if there was a thorn in their back.
No one would want to be mounted by Bizarre Kiana, unless they had a strange fetish…
The ambiguous position seemed to trigger a certain rule of Bizarre Kiana.
Her dry, pale lips turned luscious. They became a rosy red, and Bizarre Kiana leaned over, pressed against Li Mo's body, and a long strand of saliva flowed from her mouth.
She reached out both of her hands, wrapped them around Li Mo's neck, and like a girl yearning for love, picked up Li Mo's head, opened her mouth once more, and savored the rest of her meal.
"Thump!"
Without any warning, Li Mo's head fell to the ground, making intimate contact with the floor.
There was a crack in his head, but it quickly healed.
Bizarre Kiana froze on the spot because the head had fallen from her hands.
Bizarre Kiana constantly extended her hands, trying to embrace Li Mo, but every attempt failed.
Her body turned illusory and began to fade in and out.
The moonlight started to retreat back to the entrance of the auditorium. The blood-red eyeballs seemed unwilling, but that was the only area they were allowed to be active in.
The grave incense burned fiercely, as if wanting to illuminate the endless darkness.
When the candlelight shone completely on Bizarre Kiana's body, her body completely disappeared, leaving behind only a drop of crimson blood that just happened to fall into Li Mo's mouth.
The auditorium returned to its original silence. The head ghosts were still frozen at the moment of their death.
Even if Bizarre Kiana disappeared, they still couldn't avoid this threat by themselves.
If they could, they would have already started to struggle the moment they were frozen, instead of being even more thoroughly dead than Li Mo now.
At least Li Mo still looked like a human, even if his body wasn't his real body.
The only thing left of the other bizarre entities were pieces of meat, slightly bigger than molecules.
The auditorium was quiet. It was clean. And even in this school, there were no longer any ghosts that could roam around outside.
The broadcast had summoned all of the ghosts here, and Bizarre Kiana's arrival had forced all of the ghosts to remain in a state of death, never to revive.
In the large St. Freya Academy, the only things left were an infirmary where bizarre entities remained, and a rule stating that entering through the doors would lead to certain death.
Clearly, these two types of bizarre entities didn't have the characteristic of being able to spread. They were locked inside St. Freya Academy in this world…
