When Aaron unleashed his Reiatsu at full strength, the test stone beside him began to glow.

A dazzling white light emanated from the stone.

Seeing this, the crowd's reactions were less than impressed, with most of the students on the field sneering in disdain.

"Aaron! White! First-class Reiatsu!" announced the teacher.

Despite the unimpressive result, Aaron maintained a calm demeanor, offering a faint smile before stepping away from the test area.

The students nearby began murmuring among themselves.

"This is the first time I've seen someone smile after barely passing the test!"

"Well, at least he knows his place."

"True. Even if you're in the ordinary class, as long as you graduate, you can still join a squad."

Their quiet laughter and comments didn't faze Aaron. He simply shook his head, his smile unwavering.

Class Assignments

The morning passed quickly. The students were assigned to different classes based on their Reiatsu levels: general, advanced, and special classes. Those like Unohana Yachiru, who demonstrated Reiatsu on par with a lieutenant, were placed into special classes with tailored, one-on-one training by the academy's elite instructors.

As the session concluded, the instructor called for attention.

"All students, please report to your assigned classes this afternoon. That concludes today's test. Dismissed!"

The students began dispersing in groups, chatting animatedly about their placements. Aaron, uninterested in socializing, turned to head toward his dormitory alone.

But as he walked away, a stern voice called out behind him.

"Aaron! Stop right there!"

He turned to see Unohana Yachiru, her expression as serious as her tone.

"Miss Unohana, is there something I can help you with?" he asked politely.

"In the afternoon, after classes, I challenge you!" she declared, her voice unwavering.

The crowd froze in disbelief. Whispers erupted among the students.

"What? Did I hear that right? Unohana Yachiru, with her special-class Reiatsu, is challenging him?"

"Maybe this is some kind of lesson for us ordinary students."

"Hard to say. But it's strange, isn't it?"

Aaron maintained his composure and responded with a wry smile.

"Miss Unohana, how about we wait until we've both had a chance to train a bit more? Right now, I doubt we'd accomplish much."

This calm reply surprised the onlookers.

"Did that guy just say Unohana wouldn't be able to defeat him?"

"He said he needs to train first. He's not entirely foolish!"

"Poor guy. He must've offended her somehow."

Ignoring the murmurs, Aaron continued.

"But if you're set on challenging me, then so be it. Let's decide after our classes."

Satisfied with his response, Unohana nodded slightly, allowing him to leave.

The crowd, however, erupted into laughter and commentary once again.

"Does he even know what he's gotten himself into?"

"He's either brave or just plain stupid!"

Yamamoto's Office

Meanwhile, in Captain Yamamoto's office, a middle-aged instructor respectfully reported the results of the entrance tests.

"Captain, the two students you asked me to monitor closely have been placed in the ordinary and special classes, respectively. Do you wish to make any adjustments?"

Yamamoto shook his head. "Leave it as is."

Shortly after the instructor left, Ōetsu Nimaiya, the eccentric member of Squad Zero, stormed into the room.

"Yamamoto! I heard that kid was placed in the ordinary class. What are you thinking?"

Yamamoto continued working on documents without looking up.

"Yes, that's correct," he replied calmly.

"But Yamamoto! You know he doesn't belong in the ordinary class with his abilities! You're stifling his potential!"

Setting down his brush, Yamamoto finally met Nimaiya's gaze.

"I know exactly what he's capable of. But strength alone does not define a Shinigami. His placement is deliberate. I believe his true growth lies in forging his own path. Relying too heavily on external validation—like class assignments—can make one weak. True strength must come from within."

Nimaiya frowned but couldn't find fault with Yamamoto's reasoning. Frustrated, he muttered under his breath and stormed out of the office.

The Challenge

By late afternoon, as classes concluded, students in the ordinary class lingered in anticipation of the impending showdown. The sounds of hurried footsteps signaled the arrival of Unohana Yachiru, who strode into the classroom, her intense gaze locked on Aaron.

The room fell silent as students from all grades gathered to watch.

Without hesitation, Aaron rose from his seat and smiled.

"Let's not keep everyone waiting, Miss Unohana."

The crowd erupted in murmurs.

"He's smiling? Is he confident or clueless?"

"Either way, this is going to be entertaining."

As the two prepared to leave for their duel, the air buzzed with tension and curiosity. What would happen when the first-class Reiatsu wielder faced the prodigious Unohana Yachiru? Only time would tell.
