She gently opened an eye and could see a handsomely constructed face. Alex took the phone from him and inputted her number. She gave back the phone and left without a word. She was feeling embarrassed already. She sat close to her friend and murmured some words that was only heard by her.

" Girl! What was that?"

" I don't know either. I only found myself in his arms"

" What would your fiancé say if he calls?"

At the mention of that her mood switched. She only took the menu from the table and focused on it.

" What's the problem, girl?"

" I broke up with Billy. He chose another woman over and his family rejected me too."

" It's okay. So, what are we ordering?" She asked swiping through the pages of the menu.

The soft lightening, soothing music and uncluttered spaces overran the lounge as they chattered and laughed. It looked like a reunion between two long lost friends. As the night drew near, they left for their various homes, bidding goodbye to each other.

As Alex approached her doorsteps, she could feel a little vibration from her purse. She pulls out her cellphone from her purse. It's an unknown number.

She taps the accept button and moves into her apartment. On hearing a deep voice that sounds so familiar, she bit her lower lip so hard that she nearly bled.

" This is Julian Saint"

She got back to her senses and approached Julian who was sitting on the bed. She sat beside him while maintaining eye contact.
