Within Ophis's outstretched hand, a wisp of mist materialized.

As Haru watched, the mist began to shift and change.

It coalesced into a miniature replica of Haru, formed entirely of flickering flames, radiating intense heat.

Then, the flames dissipated, replaced by a metallic figure. A moment later, the metal flowed and reshaped itself, becoming liquid.

The miniature Haru remained, perfectly formed, but its composition changed constantly—lightning, earth, ice, wind, iron, copper—matter and energy, shifting seamlessly from one form to another.

The secrets of matter and energy conversion unfolded within Ophis's hand.

Ophis, her gaze fixed on Haru, her lips curved into a slight smile, spoke.

"I can teach you."

Haru's eyes narrowed. He focused his power, a wave of terrifying killing intent washing over Ophis, the air in the room growing heavy with tension.

Rias and the others felt a chill run down their spines, their bodies tensing as they sensed the clash of auras between Haru and Ophis.

If these two—among the Most Powerful Beings in the World—decided to fight here, they would be caught in the crossfire.

Koneko, still clinging to Haru, shivered, her body stiffening as the opposing forces pressed down on her. Caught between Haru and Ophis, she bore the brunt of their power struggle. Moreover, as a Nekoshou, her senses were particularly attuned to the fluctuations of natural energy.

Her fur stood on end, a clear sign of the immense pressure she was under.

The playful smirk vanished from Kuroka's face. She struggled to channel her demonic energy, a process that normally took mere moments now feeling like an eternity.

After a full minute, she finally managed to gather enough power to activate a teleportation spell, grabbing Koneko and flashing to Rias's side.

Kuroka's hands trembled as she held Koneko, her own Nekoshou instincts screaming at her to flee. She looked at Haru and Ophis, her voice filled with a mix of fear and awe. "Holy crap… I almost died… just from the pressure… Those two are monsters…"

...

...

The moment Koneko was out of his arms, Haru moved, his hands reaching for Ophis's waist.

Rias and the others, anticipating a battle, crouched, preparing to leap away from the impending chaos.

Haru's hands reached Ophis, sliding around her back to lift her into his arms.

Ophis tilted her head, looking at Haru with a puzzled expression. "What are you doing?"

"You're cute. I just wanted to hold you," Haru grinned, nuzzling Ophis's small form.

"Oh." Ophis simply nodded and settled comfortably in his lap.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

The others, caught off guard, stumbled and fell.

Akeno glared at Haru, her face dark. "Tch…"

Rias sighed, shaking her head. "He's hopeless…"

"Wow, Haru, even the Dragon God isn't safe from your… clutches? Impressive," Kuroka said, one arm around Koneko, the other rubbing her bruised rear.

"Want to learn?" Ophis asked, looking up at Haru, seemingly unfazed by his wandering hands.

Haru's voice was laced with excitement. "yes!"

He was—a being driven by obsession. He was obsessed with women and with enhancing his own power.

Procreation and Evolution—the Primal Instincts of all life.

And Ophis's ability to manipulate matter and energy was a key element he needed to further his own evolution.

"Help me reclaim the Silence, and I'll teach you." For the first time, a flicker of emotion—excitement—crossed Ophis's face.

"The Silence? What's that?" Rias asked Kuroka, her brow furrowed.

"I have no idea, nya~~. I only joined the Khaos Brigade recently. How would I know what the Dragon God is thinking?" Kuroka shrugged.

Haru knew exactly what Ophis meant. At the dawn of creation, Ophis, the Primordial Dragon God, had roamed the Dimensional Gap—a realm of pure nothingness.

She called this state of being the Silence.

But as the world evolved, The True Dragon emerged—Great Red, the Apocalypse Dragon, the Dragon of Dragons, a being of immense power who claimed the Dimensional Gap as his own, driving Ophis out.

Defeated and exiled, Ophis had been searching for a way to reclaim her home, wandering the world, seeking the power to defeat Great Red.

And now, Haru's Sword of Salvation seemed to offer that hope. Sensing the familiar essence of matter and energy manipulation within Haru—a distorted echo of her own "snake"—she had revealed herself, offering a deal.

"Agreed," Haru said, after a moment's thought.

Ophis opened her hand, the miniature Haru reappearing, shifting and changing form. "Learn."

Haru stared at her, dumbfounded. What did she mean?

"Learn," Ophis repeated, tilting her head, a puzzled look on her face.

"You're… telling me to learn just by watching? Like this?" Haru's eye twitched.

Ophis nodded, her hand extended towards him.

"Don't you have a manual or something?" Haru asked, a sense of foreboding creeping into his mind.

"Manual? What's that?"

Haru covered his face. He remembered reading about Ophis's personality: innocent, naive, pure. But this was a bit much. If manipulating matter and energy was this easy, he wouldn't have bothered coming here.

He had access to the complete rules of the Campione!

World within the Dirac Heart—the egg. But those rules were so complex, requiring millennia to comprehend, because of that. he'd sought out the power of God and Ophis as a shortcut.

He stared at Ophis, his face a mask of exasperation. "Forget it. I'll figure it out myself."

...

Looking at the clueless Dragon God in his arms, a mischievous grin spread across Haru's face.

He snapped his fingers, tearing open a rift in space. He and Ophis tumbled into the void.

Kuroka, watching them disappear, frowned. "I feel like… I'm forgetting something…"
