Campus adventure (18+)

The next day was Monday and according to the time table lectures were to begin that day, I hurriedly prepared for class, I woke up and had my bath, took my cereal and zoomed off to class, so as not to be late I boarded a bus although as I heard the faculty of Economics was not far from the girl's hostel. When I got to my faculty I began asking for direction to the hall where the year one students do have their lectures, finally I found it and went in, the class was almost full already, all the seats were already occupied, and some people were standing at the back, I had to go and join them and stand 'cos the lecturer was already and any walking around would be a distraction and the lecturer could ask me to leave his class, I was shocked because it was just 8:06 am, when it clocked 8:10 am the lecturer shut all the entrance doors, every other student that was rushing towards the hall had to stand outside and listen, I was even privileged that I was inside the class although I was standing and very uncomfortable atleast I was so much better than those that were standing outside the class. The lecturer just dictated our scheme of work for us and explained some terminologies that we'll be seeing as we make progress in that course in the semester, as the man was in class attendance was going around, it got to me and I wrote my name and passed on to the person beside and the person did likewise, before you knew it his time elapsed. The next lecturer was already standing by the door, she just walked in and they greeted each other, She greeted us and we responded in unison, and she started her class, after each lecturer the next, this went on and on until 2pm. When I came out of the class I was really exhausted, hungry and thirsty. I just bought water because the hostel was not far, I could just rush home and prepare noodles and eat, as I was walking home I noticed that I actually wasted money in the morning by taking transport from the girl's hostel to my faculty, even the bus driver that carried me was also heartless for carrying that short distance and still collecting the same amount that he collected from the students that boarded him from school gate, although it was their law that any student you carry no matter how far or close by the distance was they were to collect the same amount, I believe every one in that bus will be looking at me as a confused fellow when I boarded that bus. When I got to my room in the hostel my roommates were not even back yet, I just prepared noodles as planned and ate, after eating I had my bath and then rushed to the digital library which was just opposite our hostel, I went there to see a multitude it was just like a crusade, the last time I saw a crowd like this although not as big as this was at the centre where I went to write my Jamb examination. There were in a file actually but I knew that it wouldn't even get any close to reaching me that day plus I was already tired and my legs were really aching me standing through out in the class for all those hours, so I just went back to my room and slept. By the time I woke up in the night, my roommates had long been back, Sopuru cooked and we ate and gisted about how our day went, every body had their own story to tell, Esther stepped outside our door to get some fresh air, I told them about what I saw at the digital library and we then decided not to go to class the next day, we will leave very early to the digital library for our E-clearance form so as to be able to get it.
