Chapter 7: 7) Banshi Scream
After School I went over to where the football practice was being held. Checking my social media. It exploded a bit after this morning.
Geeze. I'm gonna be blocking and reporting a lot of people.
Most people seem to just want entertainment. Though some people are taking it too far.
Gosh we got feminists and chauvinistic fucks.
Apparently Lexi deserved it because she failed to serve me properly. Though I failed to be a proper gentleman so I should apologize for my actions. Okay block. I'll just ignore that.
Ugg, I don't get it. Her serve me? Me not a gentleman? She plotted with my parents to kill me for money. End of story.
Though my post this morning is getting a lot of love. With it being my post before going, as people are phrasing it, apeshit. A lot of people were watching it. Also making people very confused.
Hehe, I got an idea. I'll post a photo of Ash and me. I think Ash will like that right?
I arrived at the football field.
The players were warming up on the field. There were a couple people on the bleachers hanging out. Mostly the girlfriends of the players.
To my surprise I saw Lexi at the other end of the bleachers. Why is she everywhere? It's annoying.
I sat on the other end of her. The further away I am the better.
I sat down and pulled out my drawing book. Damn I haven't seen these drawings in so long. The structural integrity of these buildings isn't taken into account at all.
Though they are pretty.
That's right. I wanted to build buildings in games at this point. To be honest these designs are pretty good. Most of the flaws aren't unfixable.
I got my job as an architect and threw blood, sweat and tears. Well and a bit of debt. If I fix and submit a couple of these to a competition, I could make some money.
Or for some scholarships. That would be nice.
I do have to do it all by hand now. I don't have any of my normal equipment. Ah really starting from scratch aren't I.
Ah well. I'll have more money this time. I mean Ash hasn't ever asked me for money. Actually he has a tendency to spend money on me. Well he is rich after all.
Wait, does he want me to ask for money? Does he wanna be a sugar daddy? Does that make me a sugar baby?
Well if that's what he wants. About thirty minutes passed with me drawing and occasionally looking at the players. Right, football is boring. Football practice is more boring.
At this point Lexi and a couple other girls showed up. I ignored her.
I could feel her heat up in hatred over me. "I don't know what game this is but you better give it up. If you start apologizing now, I might forgive you before Christmas."
Me apologize? That's funny. I laughed loudly, attracting a lot of attention. "Wow. I never knew you were such a clown. You should have told me."
Lexi screamed in rage and slapped me. Square across the face. My head whiplashed to the side. I froze for a moment in shock. Wow, when did she get so strong? "The only clown here is you."
I saw her other hand coming up to slap me again. I grabbed it standing up all of my shit scattering. Lexi stood a step below me and I lifted her arm up. Before throwing her back for her friends to catch her.
She screamed bloody murder. Everyone looked at us. I covered my ears. Shit that banshee got a set of lungs.
In moments the football coach, Ash, and a bunch of other people surrounded us.
Ash immediately grabbed my face, noticing the red hand print showing up on my face like a polaroid. "You hit him!"
At this point Lexi was already crying. "He grabbed my arm. I only hit him so he would let me go. Oh my God I think he broke my wrist."
She held her wrist covering it with her other hand. The football coach and others looked at me. I knew immediately. No matter what I say it doesn't matter… they already believe her.
Ah. This is what she wanted. This must be payback for that comment I made in front of that student. They never believe the man in this sort of situation.
Suddenly a little girl with a camera walked up. "Actually I recorded the whole thing. You attacked him. He just defended himself."
I breathed a sigh of relief. Right after this morning everyone has been watching us. I don't need to defend myself. Not if some else has proof.
Lexi glared at the girl. "He broke my wrist. Are you saying that's okay for him to do?" Girl give it up. What does this really earn you anyway?
The coach stepped in between the girls. "Now now. Let's talk once we've watched the video."
The coach went over to the girl with the camera. The girl showed him the video and he watched in silence.
There were murmurs going through the crowd. No one knew who's side to take at this point. Some guys were trying to help the crying damsel. Ash held me like he was protecting me. Like everyone here was going to take my life.
That feels nice. I'm definitely not used to this feeling.
Lucky my Father hit the other side of my face so this shouldn't get too complicated. I might not even bruise.
The coach looked up and sighed deeply. Me too buddy. He turned to Lexi. "Okay young lady, time for us to go to the principal's office. Ash take that kid home. He's had enough for today. Rest of you practice drills till I get back."
With that all the players hit the field again. Ash started grabbing my stuff, not letting me do anything. It's not like I broke an arm. My pain tolerance is too high for something like this to hurt.
The coach to the girl with the camera and the screaming Lexi back into the school. Honestly, does she think that will work?
Ash finished and put my bag on the ground. "Okay wait here. I'm going to change and get my stuff. Then we are gonna go to my place okay?"
I nodded and sat down. Ash hurried and even ran to the locker room.
I thought about following him into the locker rooms to watch him change, though if I want to watch him change I can just do that tonight.
