Contracts Beyond Realms: The Geo Archon’s Journey

Chapter 37: 37

The wind howled fiercely.

Accelerator soared through the skies with Puri Puri Prisoner in tow, moving at supersonic speeds.

Traveling at over Mach 3, faster than the latest supersonic jets of this world, they crossed the entire country in mere minutes. Their destination was clear—the location of the so-called Committee, verified and pinpointed by Accelerator's earlier investigation.

Breaking through the sound barrier with a visible shockwave, Accelerator felt an unfamiliar sense of release.

In his own world, there were always things he had to restrain, forces he had to hold back. But here, he decided there would be no such limits.

Within seconds, he broke through the Committee's air defense network. Anti-aircraft weaponry posed no threat to him.

As the Committee's headquarters loomed ahead, he didn't bother slowing down.

BOOM!

The deafening crash echoed like a meteor colliding with the earth. Accelerator's body tore through the towering structure, leaving destruction in its wake.

Behind him, Puri Puri Prisoner followed closely but opted for a different approach.

With a mighty leap, he redirected the immense force of his descent into his legs, landing atop the building with thunderous impact. The tremendous pressure of his landing reverberated through the structure, rivaling Accelerator's own destructive entry.

Together, the two forces reduced the sleek, futuristic skyscraper to nothing more than rubble and debris. Stones and steel soared into the air, dust choking the skies.

The sound of the building's collapse came moments later, accompanied by screams and cries of terror, echoing across the wreckage.

Accelerator emerged from the destruction unscathed, his hands buried casually in his pockets. Not a single speck of dust marred his silver hair or pristine figure. He looked every bit the silver-haired noble, save for the twisted smirk on his face.

With a deliberate stomp, the ruins beneath his feet quaked violently.

Cracks radiated outward like a spiderweb, widening and deepening until the rubble and steel beams sank into the chasms. Beneath the crumbling remains of the building, a sprawling, metallic underground complex came into view.

"Found it," Accelerator drawled, his tone dripping with dark amusement. He savored each word, enunciating them like a predator relishing its hunt.

From the rubble above, Puri Puri Prisoner's cheerful voice rang out.

"Hey, boys and gentlemen! You can't just focus on Accelerator Boy—I'm here too!"

He stood atop the debris, striking a dramatic pose. With his muscled frame, stark naked under the harsh sunlight save for strategic, gleaming censorship, he looked like a bizarre saint of destruction.

"Let's have some fun, boys!"

The soldiers caught in the wreckage stared at him in horror. Those who hadn't already been incapacitated by the building's collapse recoiled.

"F***!"

"Sh**!"

Their curses filled the air, mingled with audible gulps.

Puri Puri Prisoner's expression darkened. "Boys, no cursing! That's an NG behavior. Uncle will have to teach you some manners."

BOOM!

With a single bound, Puri Puri Prisoner crossed over a hundred meters, landing directly in front of a cluster of soldiers. His massive, pale fist swung forward with unrelenting force.

CRACK!

The sickening sound of bone shattering echoed as his punch obliterated a soldier's head like a watermelon, spraying red and white gore everywhere.

"Damn it!"

The soldiers—highly trained elites and the country's strongest force—reacted immediately. Years of combat experience couldn't be faulted.

But against Puri Puri Prisoner's towering physique and overwhelming power, their light weaponry might as well have been toys.

The battlefield was a slaughter.

Each strike from Puri Puri Prisoner was fatal.

A punch to the abdomen tore through torsos, reducing internal organs to pulp.

A blow to the chest shattered ribcages and destroyed hearts.

A strike to the head splattered brains and blood across the ground.

The carnage lasted less than ten minutes.

By then, the troops stationed to guard the Committee's headquarters lay dead—over a hundred soldiers wiped out.

Covered in blood and gore, Puri Puri Prisoner's grin remained unsettlingly cheerful.

To him, these weren't men anymore. They were monsters, their humanity long stripped away by the atrocities they had enabled.

The soldiers' morale crumbled.

"Ahhh! Run!"

"Monster!"

Their screams filled the air as the remaining survivors fled.

Minutes later, the battlefield fell silent.

All that remained were a few soldiers moaning in pain, their limbs shattered, unable to move. Puri Puri Prisoner stood among them, the sole figure left standing.

Looking around at the hellish scene, his expression shifted.

Blood flowed in rivulets, pooling into streams that trickled along the uneven ground.

Thunder rumbled above as storm clouds gathered. Lightning streaked across the sky, casting flickering light over the desolation.

Raindrops began to fall, soft at first, then steadily stronger.

"Ha…"

Puri Puri Prisoner tilted his head back, letting the rain wash over him. A low chuckle escaped his lips, tinged with bitterness.

"So, I'm still not as good as Accelerator Boy after all. I've got a long way to go…"

Rain mixed with the streaks on his face, blurring the line between water and tears.

SWOOSH!

The sharp sound of projectiles cutting through the air interrupted his thoughts.

Glancing up, he saw trails of orange streaking across the sky, leaving thick plumes of white smoke in their wake.

Missiles.

A coordinated barrage, all aimed squarely at his position.

Seconds later—

BOOM!

The deafening roar of explosions drowned out all other sounds. Blazing fire consumed everything in its path, igniting anything flammable.

The crippled soldiers, still writhing in pain, were swallowed by the flames.

Puri Puri Prisoner, standing amidst the inferno, made no attempt to move.

Instead, he waited silently.

For rebirth.
