Death Saga

The forge is under repairs, he saw a dwarf overseeing the men, he approached him.

"Hey there." Raven said.

"What do you want?" The dwarf asked.

"What happened happened here?"

"Bandits, that's what happened, damn bandits. There's a group of bandits, they call themselves the city bandits since all of them are from this city, the fools stole some explosives from the miners and dropped some while running away, the explosives they dropped weren't safe, shortly after they dropped them, they exploded blowing half of my forge, thankfully our warehouse is still fine."

"Good, Giren wants his weapons."

"Can't do, we don't have the men required for the delivery, some of my men were injured, some quit and the rest are here doing repairs, Giren has to get off his ass and use one of his spells for once, he's always up there in his office commanding his men around, I wonder if it's a hunger for power thing."

"Damnit, Giren won't be pleased with this, is there anything I could do for you so you spare some of your men for the delivery?"

"Well, yes, when the bandits blew my forge, they also stole an unfinished sword, it was meant for someone with high status."

"Alright then, I will retrieve it for you, do you know where I can find these bandits."

"North, outside the city, you'll find an area full of rhinos, there you'll find a cave, the bandits hide there, but head's up, the rhinos aren't exactly friendly."

"I will be back in no time."

Raven left the city walls and headed north, his plan is to avoid the rhinos and sneak into the cave, he hopes to bring back the sword without a fight.

Raven reached the area, luckily for him the rhinos sleep at this time of the day, reaching the cave was easy, once he reached the cave he sprinted in, unfortunately for him he bumped into a rhine, one that was tamed by the bandits to guard the cave, the rhino woke up angry, he tried to attack Raven but Raven dodged, he pulled his sword simultaneously and tried to behead the rhino, his skin was too strong, the sword broke, Zeds threw it away and ran.

A bandit was patrolling the cave when he heard a rumbling getting closer, he looked to see what's going on and he saw Raven running his way and an angry rhino just behind him, he started running also, Raven saw that bandit had sheet of paper rolled and tucked into a pouch hanging from his waist, Raven realized it was a map of sorts.

"It must be the cave's map."

Raven overtook the bandit snatching the map, he sprinted some more and made distance between him and the bandit, suddenly he took a turn, the bandit continued running without turning and so did the rhino.

Now away from danger, Raven opened the map, he followed the route he took and located himself on the map, luckily for him the treasure room was two turns away, he started sneaking looking for other bandits, he saw bandit standing in front of the treasure room, he started sneaking towards him with the hopes of taking him out when another bandit came his way, Raven hid behind a barrel and heard them talk.

"Mobo is angry, he is running around chasing bandits."

"That damn rhino, go warn the others, I will seal the treasure room and go tell the boss."

The bandit ran away in a hurry to warn the others, while the one who was standing turned his into the treasure room, before he could seal it, Raven snuck behind him and choked him out, he opened the treasure room to see all kinds of riches, he looked closer.

"It's all fake, these bandits are fools." Raven said to himself.

All was fake but two weapons, a double edged sword with no handle and a katana, he took both, the katana as his new weapon then snuck out in the chaos.

Once in the forge, he found no one but a man.

"You're looking for the boss, yeah?" The man asked. "He left to eat."

"Where can I find him?" Raven asked.

"Where else? The miner's inn, it's not too far from here, just head that way."

"Thank you for the directions."

Raven headed to the inn, he found the men having the feast of their lives.

"Is there a seat for me?" Raven asked.

"Did you bring it?" The dwarf asked.

"It's here." Raven said as he handed the unfinished sword to the dwarf.

"Here, this seat next to me is empty, come eat with us."

"That what I was planning on."

"So Giren will have his weapons by tomorrow, now tell me, I didn't see you leave with that sword, that's a new one, right?"

"Yeah, my old one broke, I found this with the other sword, don't tell me you made this one too?"

"No, it's my first time seeing it, may I have a good look at it."

"Sure."

Raven handed the dwarf his sword.

"Analyse: Weapon."

"Hmm, no bonus attributes, high durability, sharp enough, I was sure this one was special in some way, wait... it has dimensional properties."

"What does that mean?" Raven asked.

"I don't know, but it could interact with dimensions in some way, how exactly? That's for you to decide, boy, this is a legendary sword."

A man spat his drink and looked at Raven.

"Are you the warrior of legends!?" The man said.
