Death Saga

After training and resting for a whole night, Raven woke up full of energy, it's time for a job.

He headed to top floor, no one was there but the robot, he looked at the mission board for few minutes, when the robot noticed him standing for too long he tried to help him.

"Can't pick a job?" Robo asked.

"Yeah, prepare me a coffee to go." Raven said

"Then may I interest you with a suggestion?"

"Yes please."

"I believe you're already familiar with the city bandits, yeah?"

"I had run in with them last job."

"Then there's a bounty on their boss's head, you seem suitable for the mission."

"I will be bounty hunting then, by the way, you seem too human for a robot, what are you?"

"A golem, I was a bartender once, we got attacked, I was going to die when Giren made dark mage in his party transfer my body into a small golem then once I was safe he did it again to this robot."

"Isn't that, bad?"

"No, I actually agreed to do this, your coffee is ready."

"Alright then, I'll talk to you later."

Raven talked to Giren about taking the job, Giren wished him best luck and Raven left.

Back in the bandits cave, Raven couldn't find anyone, even the treasure room is empty, they must've moved somewhere else.

The new plan was to find a bandit and find out from him the location of their new hideout.

Raven moved away from the city while avoiding the road, Raven went back to the road and headed back to the city hoping a bandit to ambush him.

Raven noticed two hiding in the bushes, he can't let them know he knows they're there, once he was within their range, the two jumped out, Raven wasted no time cutting the first one's head and he grabbed the other while pressing the blade on his neck.

"Where is your hideout? Talk!" Raven said.

"The cave, north."

"You're lying, are you sure you want to live, if you don't I will take your life here and now I won't look back."

"Alright, alright, I will tell you, the new hideout is the abandoned basement under the tavern in rich man's district."

"Good job, now run in the opposite way from the city."

The bandit took off running, Raven wasted no time heading to the tavern so he doesn't risk the bandit warning his buddies.

Once in the tavern, Raven headed to the bartender.

"I need to check the basement." Raven said.

"It's been closed for years, I can't open it." The bartender said.

A man stepped in.

"I am the owner, what do you want?" The man asked.

"I need to check the basement." Raven said.

"For what purpose?"

"Bandits are hiding in the basement, seeing how it was abandoned for too long they made it their hideout recently."

"They must've found the hidden entrance, alright, I will unlock the basement for you."

Once down, Raven headed in, he followed the noise, he found the bandits surrounding a one eyed man standing on a stage.

"And we will take over the city." The man said.

"Heil Ralph the one eyed." The bandits shouted.

Ralph noticed Raven.

"And who might you be? Worm." Ralph said pointing at Raven.

"I came here to join your gang." Raven said.

"Then prove your might, fight man to man bare knuckles."

"You got it.

The bandits formed a circle with the two facing each other.

"Fight!"

Ralph wasted no time dashing in, hitting Raven with the one two but Raven had his guard up, Ralph stopped attacking to taunt Raven, Raven took the chance to attack while Ralph had his guard down hitting with a body shot after a body shot, Ralph quickly disengaged but the winner has already been decided, Ralph took too much damage, but his ego was too big, his movements became sluggish, he moved in to attack but Raven dropped unconscious.

"Heil the new boss." The bandits yelled.

Raven looked around, raised his fists up and yelled.

After the excitement died down, Raven rounded them up.

"I am going to take out the boss, you prepare us a party like no other." Raven ordered the bandits.

"You got it boss." One of the bandits said.

As Raven was taking Ralph to turn in his bounty, a mage appeared out of nowhere.

"Arcane Restraint."

Raven couldn't move a muscle, the mage took Ralph off his shoulder.

"You bastard, I was the one who hunted him down, not you." Raven said.

"You dare speak to me like that, I will kill you, I am the mighty mage bounty hunter Magnus. If you don't fear my name, then you're dead meat and no one will complain about it."

"I will chop your dick off you pussy."

Enraged, the mage casts Arcane Grip choking Raven out.

"Wake up buddy." Wolf said.

Raven woke up to find himself sitting on the side of the street.

"What happened buddy? Did you get into a drunken fight?" Wolf asked.

"No, that bastard Magnus stole my bounty." Raven said.

"You got bad blood with Magnus, ooh, that's bad."

"I was too weak to resist his magic, I swear if I could've I would've cut his head off his shoulder in the bright day."

"Enough with the violence friend, come, let's get to top floor and chill out, okay?"

"Okay."
