Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The Blazing Sun
The midday heat bathed the Eternal Sun Sect's training ground. A crowd of disciples watched, panting after their latest practice session, while a figure stood in the center, illuminated by the glow of their own spirit. Xu Tian, the sect's prodigy, was enveloped in a golden aura that seemed to dance around his body like tongues of flame.
"Stand up, all of you!" he exclaimed, his voice echoing with a confidence that bordered on arrogance. "Is this the best you have? How do you expect to represent our sect if you can't hold out for more than five minutes?"
The disciples struggled to their feet, their bodies still trembling from the effort, but none dared to respond. Xu Tian was not only the strongest among them, but also the protégé of the sect's Grandmaster, a position that elevated him above reproach.
With a casual gesture, Xu Tian deactivated his martial spirit, the Blazing Sun, which disappeared in a blinding flash. It was a feared and admired spirit, capable of generating enough heat to turn steel into ash and blinding his opponents with its brilliance. But, to Xu Tian, it was not just a weapon; it was a symbol of his destiny. He would be the leader of the Eternal Sun Sect, the greatest in the history of his clan.
"Xu Tian," a deep voice called from the other end of the field. It was the Grandmaster, an elderly man whose bearing still exuded authority. "Come with me. There is something we must discuss."
Intrigued, Xu Tian followed the Grandmaster to a private room high up on the mountain. The walls were decorated with tapestries that chronicled the history of the sect, but what was most striking was the central pedestal, where an ancient scroll rested.
"Do you know why I called you?" the Grandmaster asked, fixing his gaze on Xu Tian.
"No, master. But if it's another mission, I'm ready."
The old man shook his head. "It's no ordinary mission. This concerns your future… and the fate of our sect. Read this."
Xu Tian carefully unrolled the scroll. His eyes scanned the lines written in ancient characters, his brow furrowed as he tried to decipher its meaning.
> "When the Sun and Moon meet under one sky, the Eclipse will bring either the end or the rebirth of the world."
"What does this mean?" he asked, confused. "What does it have to do with us?"
"The Sun and Moon have always been in opposition, Xu Tian," the Grandmaster explained. "But they are also destined to balance each other. There is an ancient prophecy that speaks of a time when the two most powerful martial spirits in these lines will meet. That time may bring great glory… or unimaginable destruction."
Xu Tian chuckled. "So, who has the Moon Spirit? I will take it upon myself to defeat him before he causes trouble."
The Grandmaster looked at him seriously. "Do not underestimate this matter. If the prophecy is true, you will not be able to face it with brute force. It will be a challenge that will test not only your power, but also your heart."
Xu Tian crossed his arms, his expression reflecting both curiosity and impatience. A challenge that he could not solve with his strength? It sounded absurd. However, something in the Grandmaster's gaze made him realize that this matter was much more serious than it seemed.
"And what should I do?" he finally asked.
"Prepare yourself. In a few days, there will be a competition between sects. Perhaps you will find your counterpart there."
The glint in Xu Tian's eyes intensified. A chance to test his strength and prove that no one could match him. He did not know who the bearer of the Moon was, but he was certain of one thing: the Sun would always prevail.
