Chapter 10: Chained pregnant women
Seeing them leaving, the woman started yelling, "Hey, where are you going? Take me with you!"
Alex glared at the woman. "You better shut your mouth if you don't want to end up like them." He pointed towards the pile of bodies, and seeing this, the woman clamped her mouth shut.
"Let's go."
The three men, with Alex following, started their way upward and reached the intersection where Alex had come down.
Now they made their way upwards. Just as they crossed the intersection, one goblin appeared. He saw four men roaming freely and his eyes widened. He yelled, "Asg bsum jakk baa...s"
But in mid-sentence, Alex threw a knife, which struck the goblin straight between the eyes.
"Get ready for confrontation," Alex warned. He knew he was a few seconds late and that the goblin's cry had already alerted the others.
"Move!"
They headed further and reached another room, filled with more women, chained and pregnant. Their lifeless eyes spoke volumes about the torture they had endured.
Seeing the uninvited guests, the goblins gathered, their eyes filled with surprise and anger.
There were more goblins who were still using the mouths and other orifices of the women chained naked with swollen bellies.
As usual, those goblins who were with the women continued their vile acts. Meanwhile, those who were idle or waiting for their turn grabbed their weapons and lunged at the four men.
The remaining two men fought desperately, their blades flashing in the dim light.
One of them, managed to fell a goblin with a well-aimed strike. But the respite was brief. A horde of goblins, emboldened by their numbers, closed in.
Alex, his eyes narrowed with grim determination, moved with deadly efficiency.
He dispatched goblin after goblin, each strike a swift and silent execution. Yet, the relentless onslaught of the creatures began to take its toll. His movements slowed, his breath grew ragged.
But his stamina recovered in no time, helping him to fight
One of the man panted, his strength waning, was overwhelmed by fatigue.
A goblin's spear pierced his chest, and he fell to the ground, a lifeless husk.
The remaining goblins, sensing weakness, redoubled their efforts. They swarmed Alex, their weapons raised high. But Alex, though outnumbered, fought on. He dodged and weaved, his blade a blur of motion
The air crackled with the sudden violence. Goblins, their eyes burning with rage and lust, swarmed the four men.
The first to attack was a hulking brute, small but heavy-bodied, its club raised high.
Alex, agile as a panther, sidestepped the blow, his own knife flashing out. It sank deep into the goblin's throat, silencing the roar.
Then Alex gripped his axe and severed the heads of two goblins. His eyes darted to the three men who were struggling against the goblins.
"Why are they so weak?" Alex thought while plunging his axe directly into the skull of the goblin.
Two more goblins, armed with crude spears, lunged at the other three men.
The men, overwhelmed by the sheer number of goblins, couldn't help but tried to pary the attack.
One of the man couldn't help but tried to retreat but at the next moment his body was penetrated by the spear.
He though Alex is in the back so he can retreat to his side but when one of the goblins fighting Alex saw this, the goblin changed its target and thrust his spear in his back.
Blood oozing from his mouth as he griped the spear and fall to the ground in shock.
The remaining two men fought desperately, their blades flashing in the dim light.

One by one, the goblins fell, their lifeless bodies littering the floor. But the battle was far from over. More goblins, drawn by the commotion, poured into the room.
Every time Alex's stamina replenished, he found a surge of power within him, fueling a more ferocious onslaught.
Just when it seemed that all hope was lost, a sudden change occurred. The remaining goblins, sensing the tide turning, began to retreat. A low, guttural growl echoed through the room, followed by a series of rapid footsteps.
A massive, hulking goblin, twice the size of the others, emerged from the shadows. Its eyes, glowing with malevolent intent, fixed on Alex.
The creature charged, its club raised high. Alex, bracing himself, met the blow with his axe. The impact sent shockwaves through his arms, but he held firm.
