As Alex approached them, their body shuddered, but they knew resistance was futile.

When Alex came closer, he saw their true condition. The women were naked and chained, their bodies marked with evidence of assault. Most of them had swollen bellies, indicating pregnancy.

There was a total of seven women: five human females, one beast woman, and one Elf with black hair.

They were all beautiful, some mature and others young. Alex thought, "What have these monsters done to these beauties?" He knew that saving them was nearly impossible.

One of the young women, her belly slightly swollen, spoke in a weak tone, "Help me... I don't want to die..." Tears streamed down her face.

Alex spoke, "Don't worry, I have avenged you all. I have killed every single goblin in this cave, and if there's anyone else, I'll kill them too."

Hearing Alex's voice, another woman, a bit more mature, spoke, "There is no future for us. Please free us from this suffering."

Alex was silent, unsure what to say. He understood the implications of her words. Killing her and the others would be easy, but seeing their pregnant state, he hesitated to even consider it.

Soon, the other women also pleaded in the same tone, "Please free us from this suffering."

The only Elf woman spoke, "Stranger," she grabbed a locket from her neck and gave it to Alex, "Please help me deliver this thing to the Elven kingdom. If you do this, they'll definitely reward you."

Alex grabbed the locket but didn't answer her. She didn't press for an answer, as it would be better for the locket to be with a stranger than lost in the unknown caves.

As Alex received the necklace, a notification chimed from his status window.

[Mission: Dying Wish]

The dying Elf wanted you to return the unknown locket to the Elven Kingdom. Brave adventurer, accept the trial and return the locket or keep the locket as it may be hiding some secrets.

Alex read the mission and thought it would be a good adventure. "I'll look into it later. For now, let's focus on the current problem."

He looked at the seven women, "There must be a way to save you?" he asked, unsure of this world's workings.

The mature woman shook her head. "Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do except free us from this pain and humiliation."

She explained, "Once Goblin sperm enters a woman, her fertility will grow rapidly, and our bodies will transform for quick births. From now on, only Goblins and similar species like Hobo's and Orc's can impregnate us."

"If we don't receive their sperm every three days, we won't survive and will die a very painful death. So, it's better for you to kill us than let us face such a painful demise." Her tone was pleading at the end.

Alex pondered, then looked at their swollen bellies. Seeing this, the Elf woman spoke, "What she says is right. If you leave us here, even if we die, these monsters in our wombs will one day come out and do the same atrocities to others that were done to us. So, kill us and these monsters together, so they can't ra*e and assault other women." The Elf pointed to her swollen belly, urging him to attack.

Even as a veteran, Alex hesitated to kill the innocent who had suffered unimaginable pain.

With a heavy heart, he forced himself to strike.

Alex raised his sword which he picked from the goblins, his hand trembling slightly. He looked at the women, their eyes filled with a mixture of fear, resignation, and a strange form of peace. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and struck.

The sword pierced the flesh, a sickening sound echoing in the silent cave. The woman's body convulsed; a silent scream trapped within her. Alex continued, his movements swift and merciless. One by one, he ended their suffering, their unborn monsters along with them.

With each strike, a part of him died. The weight of their suffering, the horror of their situation, it all bore down on him. He finished the task, his body drenched in blood, not his own, but theirs.

Holding the locket in one hand and the axe in another, he made his way towards the passageway where Goblin King Furk had come from. After about 30 meters, another, larger, and more luxurious cave appeared, even for goblins. There was even a throne.

"So, this must be the Goblin King's lair," Alex muttered. His eyes then fell upon a naked beast woman, chained to the throne. Her body was covered in semen, and she clung to the throne legs in fear and exhaustion.

Alex approached cautiously. Seeing a bloodied human, the woman cowered in fear. Alex offered reassuring words, "I won't harm you. I've killed the Goblin King. you are save now."
