"Oh man, I'm Gavie, I help people like you," the man introduced himself in a friendly manner.

Alex glared at him, his large stature looming over Gavie. "Wait... wait... wait, man, why are you so angry? Is it because I interrupted you when you were staring at the NPC's busty hips?" Gavie teased Alex, putting some distance between them.

Alex asked in a serious tone, "What do you want from me?"

Gavie smiled, "Well, we can discuss that later, but right now I can tell you why that woman was in a hurry."

Alex felt irritated but his curiosity piqued. He finally asked, "And why is she in a hurry?"

"Well..." Gavie smiled, "that woman is fuc*ing a player and right now she has to fulfil her deal with that players, who promised to save her husband if she serves him for a month. Isn't that fun?"

"Wait! For a month?" Alex was stunned. "Is he blackmailing her? How can she just agree to this? And what about her husband?"

Gavie smiled, "You must have received the three Tasks, right? Do you know one of the tasks is the same for every player? The Village Chief's Task."

"Her husband was one of the miners who has been stuck in that mine, and that player has used the loophole of that task to blackmail that woman to serve him. And the best thing is that no one is taking action against him as you cannot interfere in someone else's common task."

Alex understood the situation but was still confused about the tasks and how that player could use the loophole of the task. This was his first time playing a VR game, and he was still behind many people.

Gavie could see Alex's confused expression, so he explained, "See, there are three tasks given in the Beginner's Village. Two of the three are time-based tasks, which means if you don't receive those tasks, then someone else will, and then you'll receive another two tasks for a limited time period. Not only that, other players can hinder and interfere in your task."

"But it's not the same for the remaining task. The Village Chief's task is the only task that is fixed and doesn't matter if you came a month before or today. Every player will receive that task."

"Which became a loophole because if you plan on taking that task, you'll receive the task to save a group of people. And if I do the same task, I'll also receive the task to save a group of people, but the people will be different for every player."

"That player received the task and had to save some people, among them was her husband. He used his brains and the freedom of the game to blackmail that woman to serve him every day for a month in return for bringing her husband back."

Alex gave his thoughts. Now he understood the whole story. "So, because only that player can save her husband, she didn't have any choice but to compromise."

Gavie nodded with a smile. "Well, you're smart, brother. And because of that, we cannot interfere."

Gavie gave a detailed introduction of his service, selling it to Alex. Alex thought for a moment and decided to try it once.

"But I don't have anything to pay you, at least not at the moment," Alex gave him a direct answer. He was interested in Gavie's service but couldn't afford it right now.

"Oh, brother, it seems you didn't read the game manual or forums. Don't you know we can just sign a contract of payment and you can pay me later for my service, online through the game server?" Gavie gave him a quick reply, as if he knew about Alex's answer.

Alex gave him an embarrassed smile. "Yeah, I do read a few forums, but not all." He only looked at a few headings before he decided to purchase the game and play.

Gavie smiled. "It happens... it happens. So, shall we sign the deal?" he asked, happy that he had finally convinced the customer.

He asked with a smile as Alex nodded in confirmation, "What type of info did you want to ask?"

Alex didn't ponder much as he already had something in mind. "Well, first some basic features, about the Token of acquiring class and the type of class available."

Gavie's eyes shone, like dollars sign in his eyes. "Okay then," he said, sending a payment request with conditions and the service Alex needed from the seller.
