With that, Gavie vanished in front of Alex. "Wait!" Alex yelled, wanting to ask a few more questions, but it seemed Gavie was truly in a hurry.

Alex's body was fine. Unlike his limped state in real life, his in-game appearance was a younger version of himself, healthy and without any real-life injuries.

"Seems like I have to explore myself and find out about the things I wished to know, but before that, let's choose the Task." He called up his status window, and at that same moment, he received a notification.

There was a message attached to it: "Brother, sorry for abruptly leaving, but I have to go as it's time for my college. You can contact me if you want more information." (- ‿◦ )

"this…" Alex accepted the request as Gavie went offline after he sent friend request and message to Alex. Alex replied.

Then he moved checked his status window.

Alex couldn't see the Shop icon. "Seems it will only unlock after a certain level," he thought. Then he focused on the old Notification and reread the tasks.

Mrs. Jane's son has wandered into the forest where many beasts lurk. She wants a brave adventurer to find her son.

 Reward: Token for Acquiring a class, Mrs. Jane's Favour.

[Village chief Farman's task]

The village chief is gathering strong warriors to help his men who have been trapped inside a mining cave. Brave warriors are needed to help.

Reward: Token for Acquiring a class, Village chief's secret.

[Blacksmith John's Task]

John is creating a masterpiece but lacks some materials. He wants a brave adventurer to find his desired material.

Reward: Grade one sword (Class Swordsman), Special item created by Blacksmith John.

Alex saw the tasks and then opened the map. Alex was here for living a carefree life, to enjoy the new life, and because of that, his mind was clear about the task he had to choose.

He checked the directions and started moving towards the outskirts of the Village where he found a small house. He waited, pondering how to approach, but then the door opened, and a red-haired woman emerged.

Seeing Alex standing in front of her house, she asked, "Are you here for help?" Her eyes were gleaming with hope.

Alex, without hesitating, went close. "Yes, Mrs. Jane Smith, right? I'm here as you are requesting for help," he said.

Jane's eyes became teary. "Thank god, someone came. Mr. Adventurer, please help me. My son has wandered inside the forest, and I couldn't find him. I cannot leave my house as my husband is bedridden. Please, Mr. Adventurer," she pleaded for help.

Alex could see how desperate she was. He was admiring her beauty. She was a pure Milf, mature, seductive, sexy with beautiful curves. A woman better than any he had seen in real life.

Being a former Special Mission Soldier (SMS), Alex was an expert in hand-to-hand combat, ranged and melee weapons. He was also taught about making weapons from his surroundings, though it was rarely used in modern days. But he still had that knowledge in mind as he headed for the forest, now armed with Jane's husband's axe.

As he entered the forest and walked 100 meters, the greyed area on the map turned green and became visible to Alex.

He had been checking the map to see if there was any river, but his map had been greyed out earlier, making it difficult to see. Now, he could clearly see the river on the map.

As he was walking, he couldn't stop thinking about Jane's curves. She looked young but had a child and a husband. "Who cares?" Alex thought to himself. He'll seduce Jane and enjoy the game to the fullest.

His real-life experiences had made him hard and cruel. Throughout his career as a soldier, he had risked his life for his country and participated in numerous counter-terrorism operations.

But when he got injured, instead of supporting his medical recovery, his superior forced him into early retirement. Then, after a few months of his retirement, his wife left him, stating she couldn't cope with him and his illness. She also took half of his retirement money.

This experience made him realize that those who sacrifice themselves for others do not always receive good in return.
