Chapter 45: Chapter 43
"Hello, I am Ingvild Leviathan."
Raizel dumbly stared at the enchanting beautiful girl with long, flowing, purple hair, and orange eyes, which sparkled.
She looked to be around the same age as him, sixteen or seventeen, still growing old to reach her prime. And she had an Aura of Nobility and the Aura of Dragons exuding from her.
No, not dragons...
It was the Aura of Velgrynd...
'Leviathan?' He frowned inside.
He curiously looked at her, and he did sense the same Bloodline from her that he had once sensed from Katera Leviathan.
Ingvild straightened her back from the bow, and he smiled at her.
"Raizel Darcaedes," He drew his hand to her, and she gently placed her hand in his.
She curiously looked at him as he planted a kiss on her knuckles.
"I am to be your Queen," Her words were light, and there was a faint smile on her lips.
"My Queen?" He raised his brow at her and then looked at Albedo.
"She is the Greatdaughter of Granduncle Raiser and Grandaunt Bellana. Her father was Adrius Leviathan, Katera's Uncle, and her mother was Isabelle Witlock, a Witch. Isabelle was Adrius' Mistress, and after the death of his sister, he left the Underworld and settled on Arz with her. There, Ingvild was sired. Unfortunately, she contracted the Sleep Disease early in her childhood. Her father transferred her to the House Surgat, the Extra Devil House Sworn to the Leviathan, and she has been kept hidden from everyone's eyes for nearly a century now. A few years ago, House Surgat contacted me, and they told me about her. Ingvild showed signs of awakening due to the manifestation of her Longinus, and Lord Surgat knew that they could not keep her hidden or under their control. They also had to keep their promise to Adrius, who had sacrificed himself to save them in a battle...."
The Asmodeus told him how she found Ingvild, and how Lady Pandora decided to keep her at the Palace, allowing her Longinus to completely manifest.
Ingvild woke up six months ago when he and Pandora returned to the Devildom.
She spent these six months with his Mother and adopted sister, Velgrynd, who helped her train with her Sacred Gear.
Pandora also eliminated her human blood, and transformed her into a Pureblood Devil, as per her father's last wish and request to the Darcaedes Queen. The girl now possessed the complete Clan Trait of the Leviathan Family: The Sea Serpent of Doom.
As for the Longinus that she possessed, it was Nereid Kyrie. It was in a class of new Longinus, falling into the category of High-Tier Longinus. It allowed her to control the Sea, just like her own Clan Trait, and also allowed her to control and manipulate Dragons...
Yes, Dragons...
Raizel just stared at the girl, who kept looking into his eyes, seemingly curious about them and him.
"My Lady wishes that you will accept her in your Peerage, and also accept her as your Fiancée," Albedo playfully informed him, and he smiled at her words.
"That's fine, but are you sure it is going to be my Queen Piece that will choose her?"
"Positive," The Asmodeus confidently nodded her head.
"Let's see, shall we?" He said and then raised his hand in front of him, his palm facing upwards.
As he summoned his Evil Pieces, which revolved in the air, he recited the Spell, and the Pieces started circling Ingvild.
In a couple of seconds, the three normal Pawns retreated. Soon, his second Mutated Rook retreated as well, and only his two Mutated Pawns and the Queen Piece remained.
A minute later, the Mutated Pawns retreated as well, and a smile formed on his lips when his Queen Piece started blinking.
"You were right. You will be my Queen, Dear Ingvild." He gently said to her, not hiding his happiness as he smiled at her, and she smiled back.
"Yes, My King." She curtsied to him.
It was clear that she was well-educated in noble etiquette.
"I, Raizel Darcaedes, hereby, accept you, Ingvild Leviathan, as my Queen..."
The ceremony finished within a minute, and the Leviathan curiously furrowed her brows as she sensed the raw power boiling inside her veins.
Her eyes gleamed with power, and Albedo quickly activated the Shields in the room before her Demonic Power was completely unleashed.
Raizel grinned in happiness as he sensed how potent her Demonic Power was, and Freya was startled.
It took several minutes before Ingvild managed to exercise control, and when her power receded in her body, she smiled like the proud Devil that she was.
"Albedo, can you send a message to Lord Ajuka on my behalf? Inform him that my Queen and my dear Freya wish to claim their Evil Pieces. The sooner the better."
"Do you want me to mention her name?"
"No. Just that she is my Queen."
"Alright. I am going to see him and Odin and will give him your message right away."
As soon as Albedo finished speaking, she activated the Magical Circle and left.
Raizel did not know why he had a funny feeling in his heart, but he decided to not think about it.
"Master, I don't want a Peerage yet." Freya pouted at him.
"It's just the Evil Pieces. I won't force you to create a Peerage, my Dearest." He gently pinched her cheek. "You will be serving as my maid for years to come."
She grinned at him, pleased by his words.
Ingvild curiously watched their interaction and smiled at him when he turned to look her way.
"Come, I will introduce you to Heiress Gremory, and Heiress Sitri. Their Peerages are here as well." He offered her his arm, and she unhesitantly took it and walked out with him.
She was already aware of who Rias and Sona were. His Mother and Velgrynd had told her some important things that she needed to know.
He was quite impressed by how calm she was until she raised a question that caught him by surprise.
"Mother said that Kuroka would give birth to the twins in three years. Have you decided on their names?"
He glanced at Freya, and she seemed to be aware of Kuroka's pregnancy as well.
"I have not yet decided on their names, but their House will be called Zyminiar."
"What will they be? Mixed Heritage Devils?"
"Yes, sort of, but Nekoshou are a Magical Race. Their powers are well-respected and desired. So, the children will be considered Minor Nobles. After all, I am their father," He smiled. "There's also a good chance that they will develop a Bloodline before their birth, which would help them with their status. If not, then their children will surely develop one, unique to the House Zyminiar."
"They will have cat ears and cute tails?"
He laughed at her questions and nodded his head.
"Yes. They will have cute cat ears and tails."
"Velgrynd said that she will steal your kittens. Will you be sad?"
Raizel coughed when he heard her words, and then helplessly sighed before shaking his head and letting out a chuckle.
"Yes, I will be sad if she does such a thing, but I know she was just joking with you."
"She looked very serious..."
"That's how she is," He shrugged. "Don't tell anyone that Kuroka is pregnant. She does not want them to know about it yet."
"Okay."
"Ingvild," Freya called out to her, and when the girl turned to look her way, she crossed over to her side and gently grabbed her left hand. "I would love to have you as my sister, more than just a friend."
Even though she did not show it, Raizel sensed the girl's body lightly trembling.
"Thank you," Her voice was soft, very soft, and grateful.
She was a kind soul, and even though she was over a hundred years old, she had only been conscious for sixteen to seventeen years of her life. She was just a young girl and an orphan who had recently lost her parents.
Raizel sighed in his heart just imagining how hard it must have been for her to wake up and realise that both her parents were dead. For her, it was just a sleep, with no concept or time.
He was glad that she seemed to be holding herself well, but there was this desolate aura about her that was going to take some time to brush away.
"Do you like Velgrynd?" He curiously asked her, and despite herself, a giggle escaped her lips.
"She's fun. Quite a character. At first, she was grumpy, whimsical, proud, had a temper, and kept telling me that I needed to earn her respect. And when I did manage to earn it, she became sweet, doting, cheerful, and quite... appreciative and supportive."
Raizel laughed as it was the most accurate description of his adopted sister's personality.
"That's how she is. She only cares about people whom she respects."
"She doesn't seem to respect you a lot. She's always scheming against you, complaining about you."
"Yes, well, we once had a fight, and I never apologised to her. She still holds it against me."
"What was it about?" She curiously asked.
"It's between me and her. Sorry." He smiled at her, and she shook her head.
"It's okay. I understand."
Minutes later, they arrived at the Training Field, and Kuroka and Shirone were back as well.
As soon as they saw an unfamiliar face with him, especially how she was hugging his arm, everyone gathered around to greet Ingvild and learn who she was.
"Hello, I am Rias Gremory." The Crimson-haired Princess was the first one to come up and draw her hand to the Purple-haired Princess.
"Ingvild Leviathan."
Rias was stunned when she heard the name, and it was the same for everyone else.
"Leviathan?" Sona wondered out loud and then smiled. "My apologies, I should introduce myself first. I am Sona Sitri, Raizel's friend and Fiancée, Hieress of the Sitri Family."
"Hello, Sona," She lightly smiled. "I am Raizel's Queen, and his Fiancée too."
"Queen?"
"Fiancée?"
....
...
..
Soon, everyone bombarded her with their questions, and Raizel was impressed by how calm she was as she spoke to the strangers she was meeting for the first time.
It was certainly not because of some training in the last six months. She was well-versed in etiquette and carried herself like a true Noble.
Her parents had certainly raised her like a Princess.
He raised his brow when he saw the Magical Circle of House Asmodeus light up, and Albedo appeared in his sight, wearing a playful smile, which made his heart skip a beat.
"Ajuka Beelzebub is waiting for you in the Hall of Pride."
"That's... sooner than I expected." He chuckled and shook his head.
"Hall of Pride? Why?" Rias frowned.
"Are you going to accept your Evil Pieces?" Sona looked at Ingvild and guessed.
"Yes."
"Can we come?!" Mito excitedly asked, having never witnessed an Evil Pieces Ceremony before.
"Yes, you may." Albedo nodded to her and smiled when everyone deeply bowed to her in a greeting. "Let's go. We should not keep everywhere waiting."
"Everyone?" Raziel raised his brow, but the golden-eyed Queen did not answer him.
