Chapter 29 Sun and Moon Mountain Range 13

Yilin quickly and skillfully helped the girl get dressed, and once they were done, Yiluo picked up Yemo. She looked at the young man and said, “Your sister’s poison has been cleared. Let’s go.”

The young man didn’t say much, he assisted his sister to stand up and checked her condition. He confirmed that the poison had indeed been removed.

“Thank you,” he expressed his gratitude sincerely, watching Yilin and Yiluo’s departing figures.

Yilin and Yiluo paid no attention to his words and continued on their way, swiftly leaving the scene.

After walking for a considerable distance, Ye Mo and the others found a spot to rest for the night.

“Miss, are you feeling better now?” Yilin asked, her concern evident as she gazed at Ye Mo’s pale face.

“I’m fine,” Yemo replied with a smile, trying to reassure them. “Don’t worry. The poison in her body shouldn’t have affected me like this. I tried to use my remaining strength to save her.”

Relieved, Yilin and Yiluo exchanged glances. They had been concerned that the poison was severe and had severely affected Yemo’s health.

“We thought it was a serious poison, so we were worried about you, Miss,” Yilin said with relief.

“The poison in her body is not that serious. In fact, due to the poison in the cave, some of the toxins in her body have dissipated,” Yemo explained.

“Miss, where should we go next?” Yilin inquired.

“Our next destination is the Golden Sun Grass,” Yemo answered. “Golden Sun Grass has a unique growth requirement: it needs to absorb sunlight during the day and moonlight at night. Therefore, we need to search for it in the higher cliffs of the mountains. Once we find Golden Sun Grass, we can use it to cure Yilin’s poison.” The elixir made from Golden Sun Grass required the power of the fire-type magical beast’s core, which would also be the end of Gu’s curse.

“Finding it in such an environment shouldn’t be difficult. I still can’t believe it didn’t exist where I used to live,” Yiluo remarked, sitting down beside Yemo. “Miss, how about Yilin and I search for it while you wait in a safe place?”

“I don’t trust you two,” Yemo replied, leaning against a tree and closing her eyes to rest.

Seeing her determination, Yilin and Yiluo didn’t insist further.

The next morning, Yemo woke up early, feeling fully refreshed.

After a night’s rest, her spirit had fully recovered. She saw Yilin and Yiluo also waking up.

The three of them had a quick meal and resumed their journey into the mountains.

Yemo led the way, with Yilin and Yiluo following behind.

As they walked, they heard rustling sounds nearby.

“I think I heard someone talking,” Yiluo said, stopping and looking back.

“I heard it too,” Yilin agreed, but they couldn’t see anyone around.

Observing this, Ye Mo kicked a stone in the direction of the sound. The stone flew into the nearby grass and hit someone.

“Ouch…”

A voice of pain emerged from the grass, and an old man stood up.
