Chapter 4 The strong is respected 4
“Miss from the direct line?” The guard laughed heartily upon hearing those words. “So she’s the useless lady from our General’s Mansion. But Madam said that you should enter through the back door. The back door is more fitting for someone like you, a waste. The front gate is not meant for the likes of you.”
“Is that so?” Ye Mo smirked, curling her fingers into a fist. She delivered a punch to the guard’s abdomen, sending him staggering back.
Before the guard could react, Yemo was in front of him, raining down punches. He was sent flying, and Yemo kicked him from the outside into the gate.
Observing this, the other guards rushed to assist, but Yilin and Yiluo overpowered them.
The guard was sent flying into the air, causing alarm among the maids and servants inside.
Ye Mo placed her hands behind her back and calmly entered the gate. She walked up to the guard, whose face was now bruised and swollen, and stepped on his chest, exerting pressure.
“I’m a waste, so what does that make you, beaten by a waste?”
“Miss, you are indeed a waste among wastes, there’s no need to ask,” Yilin said with a smile.
“That’s right, our young lady is only seven years old. You are much stronger than our young lady, yet you were defeated by her. You are the true waste among wastes.” After being ridiculed by Yilin and Yiluo, the guard fumed. “I’m the nephew of the housekeeper. How dare you, a loser, do this to me? My uncle won’t let you off.”
“Really?” Ye Mo moved her foot and raised an eyebrow.
Seeing Ye Mo lift her foot, the guard thought she was backing down and laughed triumphantly. However, before he could fully savor his victory, Ye Mo placed her foot on the guard’s throat. “I detest it when people threaten me.”
The guard didn’t even have time to cry out; he simply stared wide-eyed and refused to close his eyes.
Witnessing this, the maids on the side screamed in terror.
“What’s your name?” Ye Mo withdrew her foot and fixed her cold gaze on the trembling individuals. “This is what happens to disloyal dogs. Remember it well.” The maids were terrified by Ye Mo’s admonition and trembled in fear.
This was the scene that greeted Ye Zheng, the housekeeper, and the second lady as they arrived with the maid servants.
Ye Mo stood there, a motionless figure in front of her, two similarly attired girls behind her, and other guards lying on the ground with bruised and swollen faces.
“Xiao Gang.” As soon as the housekeeper approached, he saw his nephew lying on the ground. Upon closer inspection, he realized that his nephew was deceased, which filled him with anger.
“Did you kill Xiaogang?” The housekeeper’s eyes glinted with murderous intent as he glared at Ye Mo.
“It was me,” Ye Mo replied, curling her lips, meeting the housekeeper’s gaze without fear. “As a servant, you dared to insult and threaten your master. You deserved to be dealt with.”
“You…!” The housekeeper raised his hand, evidently wanting to strike Ye Mo.
Observing this, Yiluo, standing beside Ye Mo, swiftly kicked the housekeeper away. Her expression was ice-cold as she said, “Regardless of how difficult my young lady may be, she is still a direct descendant of the General’s Mansion. How dare you, a mere housekeeper, raise your hand to strike the master? Do you wish to meet your end?”
Yiluo had a fiery temperament and lacked the gentleness of Yilin. She spoke with a frigid demeanor that struck fear into many.
Meanwhile, Ye Mo stood there with an indifferent expression.
“Butler, if you wish for your own demise, feel free to express it directly. I’ve ended many lives, and I don’t mind adding a bit more blood to my hands. One more or one less for you doesn’t matter to me.”
