ENTITY: THE FULL SAGA

Chapter 144: Singularity

His beating heart and a singularity.

His fight for his friends and his life.

His desire to save the people of United City and Leap Town simultaneously, knowing that this wasn't his first good deed committed in his life. His nonchalant attitude to the blood streaming down his face - mostly everything that was wearing his attacks down.

Kevin - the leader of Team ENTITY - holding NULL in his hand. Looking down at the restrained entity, Kevin finally had time to think about how Kaelan and Rian had managed to steal such a valuable object, being named "The destroyer of the world" in Nadia's view. Was there a different meaning to this overwhelming power, or was it just a normal watch Nadia seemed to overreact about? Zoning back in, Kevin snapped back to reality. Now that his power was fully complete, he could try his best to defeat the entity - but at what costs? Meanwhile in the hospital sat an injured Gerald and Nadia, who continued to glance at the battlefield every few seconds in concern for Kevin. "If it wasn't for him, we would've been completely slaughtered by that entity!" Gerald exclaimed, looking up at the light that gave the two access to light. "So, what's this you're telling me about my parents?"

45 years ago, a lively town named United City was one of the top 5 tourist attractions in the country of Nahata, being known not only for its overwhelming beauty, but its nice townsfolk as well. Later into that year, however, an unknown creature appeared, sparking a battle between Jayden, who was now the president of Crystal City, and the same people in the story. Although they stood victorious, the book about their travels was published the following year - but right after their achievement, United City was wiped off the map for a reason that sat mysterious for ages, making many young people that read the book assume that it was only a legend despite what Jayden said. But now that Gerald and the rest of Team ENTITY were the first to learn about this, they have to help the civilization escape this sacred entity before it's too late! Welcome to the LOST CITY.

Kevin twitched his nose, looking down at the entity. As the smoke continued to settle on the battlefield, both Samantha and Michael looked at Kevin. "Kevin, finish him off!" she exclaimed, looking at the entity then at her best friend who she cared very much for. Suddenly, Kevin detached the watch from his wrist without second thought, still possessing the ominous singularity on his hand. Watching in shock, both Michael and Samantha scoffed.

Kevin had eaten NULL and completely broke the watch. "I was hungry." he muttered, looking down at his friends.

"KEVIN! WHY WOULD YOU EAT IT!?" Samantha exclaimed, trying to hold in her tears of concern and distress. Leaping up to rush to Kevin's side, Michael jumped up to the roof of the building Kevin sat on, as concerned at Samantha. "Kevin, are you okay!?" he exclaimed, slapping him over and over. But, that was Kevin's worst moment in this entire battle - because YYPOD had leaped out of the water, shifting into a drill formation to completely annihilate the building both Kevin and Michael sat on. As the attack got closer and closer, Michael sighed, taking off his shirt. "People do have to make sacrifices…" he muttered, getting ready to completely take the blow for his best friend. "Kevin has saved our asses more than once, and I'm willing to pay him back for it, Samantha! You can run for all I care, but I won't let Kevin down!" Crying, Samantha watched in horror as the drill impaled Michael's stomach, almost touching Kevin.

Michael kneeled onto the floor. "Huh - that didn't really hur…" Across the buildings, Samantha screamed at Michael. "DON'T DIE, MICHAEL!" she exclaimed, not being able to emerge due to her massive breakdown. "I'm nowhere powerful compared to you guys, but I vow to be as strong as possible to protect Kevin too!" she exclaimed, holding her blood-soaked hand up to the sky. "Consider this a blood oath, since I'm already bleeding tremendously…" Suddenly, Kevin broke the silence on the battlefield, moving his hand to touch Michael's shoulder. "You did well, Michael. You can stand down for now - this is my fight."

Michael scoffed. "Didn't you just eat an entire singularity? You aren't okay, Kevin! We have to retreat the battlefield as soon as poss-"

Kevin scoffed. "Retreat..? NEVER say that word in front of me again, Michael. We aren't pussies, we are young adults! If we retreat, we will never be able to prove our dedication to our government! We'll never be able to find Ash! I know it's been so long, but just don't let go of things you start-"

Kevin noticed the alternate attack heading for him at full speed. Clenching his fists, he picked up the same club Nadia had dropped when she fled the entity. "Isn't this Nadia's club? Hopefully she's all right, but I'll take her for ice cream to pay for this!"

Michael and Samantha scoffed. "You're going to attack YYPOD head on!?" they both exclaimed, concerned for his safety. Smiling, Kevin threw a coin back to both of them. "I'll hit a home run by repelling the attack easily! Collision will come in good use with this attack!" he exclaimed. Suddenly, Exothiuium bloomed from the spike club, showing Kevin's tremendous power. Jumping back into the line of fire where YYPOD was, Kevin was going head on into not only the attack executed by the enemy, but the enemy itself.

This was the power of Kevin.
