Chapter 145: LOST CITY FINALE: Overwhelming Power
"He's about to take that whole thing head on! Is he mentally insane!?"
Kevin sprung closer and closer to YYPOD and its killer ray. "I'll kill you!" he exclaimed, holding the club that was nowhere close to Kevin's size.
Right then, Kevin was sent back to reality. The club had finally merged with the fiery ray of YYPOD, casting a massive explosion and decamating all the buildings around the battlefield, sending Samantha and Michael (who were still spectating the battle) flying into the air. As Kevin's effort continued to pay off, screaming for his life, he was able to repel the attack from making its way into his path, completely raining down on its caster.
Samantha and Gerald scoffed. "How would Kevin manage something like that!?" they exclaimed. "We really did make progress in getting stronger, didn't we!?" Smiling, Kevin felt a burp coming up his throat. "I think my consequences from eating NULL are comin…"
BURRRRRRRRP! All that came out of Kevin's mouth was particles of binary code, falling down onto the tiles of the roof he stood on.
Samantha scoffed. "So he burps binary text now? How is this possible!?"
45 years ago, a lively town named United City was one of the top 5 tourist attractions in the country of Nahata, being known not only for its overwhelming beauty, but its nice townsfolk as well. Later into that year, however, an unknown creature appeared, sparking a battle between Jayden, who was now the president of Crystal City, and the same people in the story. Although they stood victorious, the book about their travels was published the following year - but right after their achievement, United City was wiped off the map for a reason that sat mysterious for ages, making many young people that read the book assume that it was only a legend despite what Jayden said. But now that Gerald and the rest of Team ENTITY were the first to learn about this, they have to help the civilization escape this sacred entity before it's too late! Welcome to the LOST CITY.
Overwhelming Power
Gerald scoffed. "Who is the Bandit Of Liberation? I heard it was some type of Trila legend, but I never was able to research it solidly…" Nadia sighed. "The Bandit Of Liberation was a real citizen of the Land Of Trila who secretly worked under the evil forces of the new Trila administrator, also the new president of the land. Although the bandit is known to be a high rank in the army, every night at 11:32 PM, he jumps across the moon of Truna Village, which is my hometown village, delivering food to all of the starving children in our land. Although his name has not been uncovered, I can easily say we are deeply in his debt!"
Smoking a cigarette, Gerald sighed. "He was probably a Freedom Runner that stood disloyal to Una and his forces simultaneously. Allegations of abuse in the Land Of Trila have resurfaced, and if Kevin hears about it, he's gonna want to get to the bottom of it… Speaking of Kevin, I hope he's okay…"
"I'M NOT OKAY!" Kevin exclaimed, continuing to burp. "It TICKLES!" he exclaimed, forcing Gerald and Samantha to look at their friend with pure concern. "So are you in pain, or are you just laughing? YYPOD is still up, you know! Don't slack off!" Suddenly, YYPOD sprung out of the water, roaring at high volumes. "Shit! I have no surface left and he's too close! At this point, I have to jump into the water!" Samantha scoffed. "Kevin!" she exclaimed, going out of her way to repel the attack. But before she could arrive, Kevin was already in the water with YYPOD.
Looking around, Kevin tried to hold in a bubble for as much air as possible - he would be needing it for a plunge as long as this one. "Since YYPOD is a water-type entity, it's extremely stronger here than it is outside the water! As a result, I have to really lock i-"
A shadow sprung across Kevin, almost completely impaling him if he didn't block with Collision. "Shit! He's way too fast!" Being carried deeper and deeper into the water, Kevin couldn't control his body! He was stuck in the hand of YYPOD, swimming deeper and deeper into the water. Before he knew it, he was sent plummeting down into the ground, taking a critical hit.
At the surface of the water, a massive splash of water resurfaced, extending Samantha's worry about Kevin. "Shit! That entity is dangerous underwater!" she exclaimed, trying to go down to save her friend. But suddenly, Michael stopped her before she could make any progress. "Samantha, you're an ice-type. If you go down there, all you can fight with is just pure ice. That's water too, so you'll freeze if you use your power down there…"
Back at the bottom of the water, an unconscious Kevin was laying on the floor, trying his best to get up. "Fuck! I can't drown that easily! I don't wanna see Ceaser again, but I have to get up to the surface as fast as I ca-"
Before Kevin could finish his thoughts, the quick entity tried to impale his vital spot one more time, almost impaling him if it wasn't for his quick block." Throwing the entity back into a building that sat distant, Kevin scoffed. "Shit! I lost air!" he exclaimed, rushing up to the surface. But before he could make it up, YYPOD zoomed across the water once again, leaving a cut on Kevin's left arm.
Kevin smiled. "Right into my trap." he thought to himself, hitting the entity with the singularity that sat on his hand. Swimming up to extend the power, Kevin scoffed. "Now I'm actually losing breath!" he exclaimed, rushing up to the surface. Right then, both Kevin and the entity were sent plunging out of the water as Kevin's attack continued to destroy the insides of the entity. Everything including the Lost City and the civilization that Team ENTITY had discovered inside the entity - was now destroyed. "Null PARTY!" Kevin exclaimed, sending it into the sky at full speed.
Right after, the entity exploded in midair. Holding his arm, Kevin smiled. "That was a nice and strong battle…" he said to Samantha, who was still recovering from her trauma. Suddenly, Kevin fainted on the floor, snoring loudly. "I wanna go home!" he exclaimed. Watching the water that YYPOD produced drained, Samantha smiled. "Let's go home." she told Kevin softly.
Opening Gerald's hospital room, the nurse that was tending to both Gerald and Nadia scoffed. Dropping her equipment, she glanced at Nadia's empty bed. "A client has ESCAPED!" she exclaimed, running out of the room in a hurry. Now, Nadia was on the loose - but the question was, where the hell was she going?
