The meaning of this sad dream

Ji Ah's POV:

Today me and the five giants were walking together to school. Kai and Beomgyu were their usual self, while the other three were being kind of weird. It felt like they were in their own world, not even caring about what was happening around them.

"What is wrong with you three today?" I asked and Beomgyu and Kai stopped bickering.

"Yeah, you guys are so quiet" Beomgyu said and Kai nodded his head.

"Ah I am just tired, that's all. I couldn't get enough sleep last night" Yeonjun said. I frowned at that.

"That's why I have told you countless times to move in with us, at least you will have someone in the house to talk to" I said to him.

"I know but it's okay, I will be fine after a cup of coffee" He said. I looked at Soobin and asked him to explain as well.

"I was just wondering whether to buy bread or ice cream" He said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Bruh, you can have both." I said and shook my head.

"Oh yeah you are right!" He said smiling. Next it was Taehyun's turn.

"I just keep having this weird feeling ever since we went to that room. I even had a weird and creepy dream today" He said.

"I had a creepy dream as well!" Kai sad and Taehyun widened his eyes.

"So I am not the only one then, what was it hyuka?" He asked and we all looked at Kai worriedly, waiting for him to answer.

"This dolphin with a unicorn horn was chasing me in the supermarket" He said. We all gave him the -.- face.

"What? It was creepy ok?" He said.

"I am serious right now dude. Anyways so, in my dream, Everything was black, except for the ground. The ground was filled with these beautiful purple flowers. I looked around and saw a boy sitting on a chair with flowers wrapped around him. I tried to take a closer look and saw that it was Yeonjun. I shouted his name but he didn't listen. His eyes were closed and it looked like he was sleeping. He also had this purple liquid coming from his neck. I was trying to walk up to him but I couldn't. It felt as if an invisible wire was wrapped around my feet and stopping me from walking. I kept shouting his name and then just woke up" Taehyun explained everything.

That really was a weird dream. I looked at Yeonjun and he seemed to be lost in his thoughts.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I am fine. We should get going or else we will get late and Taehyun, don't worry much about that dream. It's just a dream after all" He said, giving him an assuring smile.

Yeonjun's POV :

I once again lied to Ji Ah. The fact that Taehyun had a weird and creepy dream just like me, really bothered me. I was thinking whether to tell them or not but then just decided against it. It will just end up worrying them and I don't want that. Thankfully my cut was healed during the weekend or else it would have been real trouble for me.

I was sitting in class right now. Ji Ah has a different class right now. So it was just me and Soobin, since the other three are a year younger. Felix was also in this class along with Hyunjin, I just rolled my eyes looking at him. It was really boring to be honest, I just wanted to go home. But of course I had to tolerate. I looked to my side and found Soobin staring at nothing in particular. He looked lost.

"Soobin. Soobin?!" I whisper shouted, shaking his shoulder.

"Huh? Were you saying something?" He asked, looking at me.

"No. But are you really ok though? You seem lost" I said looking worried.

"Ah, yes. I am fine" He said flashing me a smile. That didn't convince me but I decided not to push him further. If he didn't want to tell me, then I shouldn't force him.

Ji Ah's POV:

Damn this class feels extra boring today. I just wanna go home already. I looked at Seul and found her already looking at me with a pouting face.

"I want to go home!" She said.

"Me too girl, me too" I said to her.

"Psst. Hey!" Ryujin whispered from her desk. I raised a brow at her.

"Wanna ditch?" She mouthed and I shook my head meanwhile Seul nodded.

"What the hell bitch, we can't. I just told you" I whisper shouted at her.

"Oh come on, no one will find out. Plus we are decent students, if the teacher asks where we were, we will just say that Chaeryoung had really bad cramps and so we took her to the school nurse" She said. That didn't sound very convincing to be honest.

"I think we should just skip this class Ji Ah. The teacher isn't teaching anything important anyways" Chaeryoung said.

"Ugh fine, but only because you are saying" I said and she smiled.

"Yeah yeah right. Me and Seul are just clowns, afterall!" Ryujin said rolling her eyes.

"That,you are!" I said and both of them glared at me.

"We should skip classes more often and come here on the rooftop to relax!" Ryujin said.

"I want to do that too but you know our parents. They will kill us" I said.

"You should stop caring and learn to be more carefree, Ji Ah. Plus what's the fun of being a student if you don't do all this stuff?" She said.

"Yeah, you are right" I said and smiled.

"Hey we should play some songs!" Seul suggested.

"Good idea. I brought my phone with me" Chaeryoung said. She started to play some songs and we started to dance.

Maybe Ryujin is right, Maybe I should be more carefree

Author's POV :

The boy looked deep in thought. He payed no mind to everything that was happening around him in the classroom. Anyone who looked at him could tell that he was thinking about something, maybe about some stupid school work or anything else. But no one had any idea about the chaos that was going on inside his head.

He really didn't want to do this. He wanted to tell his friends everything, so that he wouldn't have to feel guilty. But he couldn't, he knew he couldn't. He wanted to tell someone, to ease his pain. But then who would listen to him? He had no one he could trust aside from his friends and family. He thought why did it have to be him to do all this out of all the people in the world. He looked to his left to look at his friend, who was just laughing about something the girl said sitting in the front. A sad smile formed on his lips and the only words he could mutter were

"I am sorry" But he made sure that the boy next to him couldn't hear it.
