His only Cure

Chapter 11: Chapter 11

Sophie knew she was screwed, but the situation was too funny for her. When they disappeared through the door, she finally burst out laughing, holding her stomach.

"His face... Her scene... What a circus" She wiped away tears of joy as she went to the parking lot to wait for the car. Fortunately, she managed to control herself before a disgusted Darell returned. The car arrived a moment later. He opened Sophie's door and sat on the other side in a bad mood. He was supposed to be happy with the confrontation with Forzani, but the whole situation with the empty woman spoiled his fun. In addition, Sophie obviously had a lot of fun with it and couldn't keep herself away from the crowd of men.

The journey passed in silence. They pulled into the company parking lot. Wanting to go straight home from there, Sophie wanted to say goodbye to her boss. However, he had other plans for her. He took her hand and led her to the elevator.

"Today you're staying with me" He said menacingly, not giving her the opportunity to object. She pursed her lips, knowing he wasn't happy with her laughing at him. They entered the apartment and Darell immediately pressed her against the door with his body, being only millimeters from her mouth. He looked menacingly into her beautiful green eyes.

"Are you enjoying this?" He asked hoarsely. She gently denied with the head for fear that their lips would touch. But her laughing eyes betrayed her. She couldn't help but remember the scene in the garden. His hand slowly tightened around her waist.

"Don't play with me, Sophie" He threatened, closing the distance. One wrong move and she will be devoured by him. She tried to maintain eye contact, knowing what one small glance at his lips could do. She waited patiently for his anger to subside, trying not to move. He finally released her and angrily walked into the bedroom.

"Come here!" He ordered. She took off her high heels and trotted after him, holding the dress in her hands so as not to trip on it.

"Help me" He grumbled without looking at her. He spread his arms as before and allowed Sophie to take off his suit. She quickly unbuttoned all the buttons on his shirt, which he threw on the ground and went to the bathroom. The girl, seeing his bad mood, quietly went to his closet and started rummaging around for a T-shirt. There was no way to escape and she couldn't go to bed in a dress like that. She waited patiently, prey in hand, ready to dash into the bathroom as soon as Darell left. She stood outside the door, listening for footsteps. When the door opened and the man came out wearing only a towel around his hips, the girl tried to sneak inside. Yes, she tried. To her surprise, she was suddenly grabbed by the waist and pulled into someone's wide chest.

"Wait, smartass. Let me help you undress" He purred into her ear. He held the top of the dress against her neck with his teeth and slowly unzipped it with his free hand. Sophie's bareback came into view, causing him to grunt at the sight. He nuzzled her neck, kissing it gently. Sophie, surprised, broke free from his embrace, holding the place he kissed.

"Madman..." She slammed the door in front of him, closing it quickly. Her face was burning with fire. Her hand still held the place where he had kissed her. She shook herself, glaring at the door, took off her dress and took a long, hot shower. Sophie came out of the bathroom, peering carefully through the door, looking for the enemy.

He lay on the bed, resting his head on his hand and looking at her with a menacing smile. With narrowed eyes full of fear, she put her dress on one of the armchairs and lay down on the very edge of the bed.

"Ha ha!" He laughed sincerely at her defensive behavior.

"You deserved it for making fun of me" He patted the place next to him. "Although. I won't do anything else. Unless you want to" He purred.

"NO! That's enough excitement for today. Please, let's go to sleep" She interrupted him quickly, afraid of what he might do. With a goofy smirk, he laid his head on the pillow, patiently waiting for her to move closer to him. Sophie carefully approached him, and as she watched his gentle eyes slowly begin to close, she felt drowsy herself. They fell asleep in the blink of an eye, facing each other.

Sophie woke up in the morning, slowly opening her eyes and seeing deja vu. She hugged her well-built boss again and snuggled against his back. Their hands were intertwined and Darell was still sound asleep. For a moment, Sophie was lost in thought, staring at his neck and the back of his head. Frowning, she pulled her hand from his grasp, turning to the other side. Their being together was just a favor for a favor. One day it will end and everyone will take care of themselves.

Sophie wasn't thinking about another relationship right now. The last one was a total failure. Besides, she had enough on her mind right now. She needed to focus on work, but a certain boss decided otherwise. They used to feed on hatred, but now? Darell started fidgeting behind her. He turned towards her and embraced her, hugging her tenderly. He rubbed his face against her neck for a moment, falling back to sleep. Exactly... And now? She looked at the man's hand around her waist. Her hand shyly moved towards his, gently stroking his back. Darell's hand quickly grabbed hers and clasped tightly together. The girl sighed, smiling slightly. It won't be easy for her.

Today was a day off from work, so Sophie decided to sleep for a while longer. Around nine o'clock, Darell woke up. Seeing their position, a satisfied growl escaped his throat. Being with her gave him more and more pleasure. He nuzzled her neck, inhaling her pleasant scent. However, the pleasure quickly came to an end as Sophie woke up. She rubbed her eyes, looked back with a deadly glare, and scrambled out of his grasp.

"Animal" She said, hiding in the bathroom. Darell looked down with a little embarrassment. He was usually in control of himself. Apparently, hugging her from behind in the morning is not the best option to convince her to like you.

Sophie muttered to herself as she did her morning toilette. She tried to calm her flushed face.

To wake up like this... Impaled on someone else... Her face turned even redder as she looked at her reflection. She only left when she calmed down. She looked angrily at the culprit and sat down in the chair, crossing her legs. Wearing only his shirt wasn't a very good idea. Darell's eyes immediately focused on the long, smooth legs, wandering along them hungrily. Sophie quickly realized her mistake and crossed her legs, hiding them completely under his shirt.

"I won't go out like this" She said loudly through her teeth, forcing the man to look into her murderous eyes. "I can't wear yesterday dress either. You dragged me here, now give me something to wear" She demanded.

Darell took his phone and started typing. When he was finished, he put it back on the shelf and went to the bathroom without a word. Once again, she saw him leaving in just a towel. She wanted to say something, but she was in his apartment. Who would instruct him how to walk in his own house? She should be glad he at least had that towel. She sat patiently, hoping that he would do something about her request, and she was not wrong. Half an hour later someone rang the doorbell and Darell went to answer it, fortunately already dressed. He returned with a bag in his hand which he placed in front of the girl. She looked inside and pulled out a green, light dress with thick straps. She looked at the smug man, then once again at the dress in her hands, and went to the bathroom to change. The dress fit perfectly and there was no hiding the fact that Darell had good taste. She looked refreshing in it. Satisfied, she came out of the bathroom and turned around in front of him, causing the dress to wave and rise slightly.

"I like it" She flirted as she walked past him into the kitchen. Seeing his hungry gaze on her, she knew she was playing with fire, but who doesn't like a little danger? Holding back her smile, knowing the effect it had on him, she started taking things out of the fridge. She was hungry and needed to eat something quickly. Darell sat down in the kitchen chair, his eyes never leaving hers. Feeling his eyes on her body, she started to get nervous. A moment of inattention and she flinched, cutting herself with a knife, which did not go unnoticed by an attentive observer. Before she could do anything, he grabbed her hand, looking at her with disappointment.

"Leave it, I need to disinfect" She wanted to remove her hand, but her finger landed in his mouth, causing the system to turn off. She froze, unable to believe her eyes.

"Tasty" He licked the blood from her finger, looking into her shocked eyes. She looked at her finger, where blood was starting to pool again. Seeing how he wanted to take it into his mouth again, she quickly snatched her hand towards herself.

"You're going too far" She warned.

"You'll stain your dress" He pointed to her bleeding finger. Sophie was startled by this statement, quickly putting her finger in her mouth. A dangerous smile appeared on his face.

"Do you know where your finger was just now?" He asked hoarsely, causing her to quickly pull it out of her mouth, blushing. She grabbed a napkin and wrapped it around her finger.

"Don't be childish" She said menacingly before returning to preparing the meal.
