Hokage: I Am an Uchiha with the Power to Extract Entries

Chapter 4: Conflict Occurs

"Boy, you just want to show off, don't you?" The brown-haired boy snorted coldly.

His eyes trembled slightly as his Sharingan activated, revealing the same single magatama as Yuma's.

"But you've picked the wrong opponent. I am the genius of my clan—Uchiha Inabi!"

The two locked eyes, Sharingan meeting Sharingan.

At that moment, Yuma had no time to pay attention to anything else. His focus was sharp, a resolve fueled by the entry he had unlocked through the system.

Whoosh—

The two figures vanished instantly.

In mere moments, over ten physical collisions occurred within the small training field.

"What?! Wasn't this guy a mediocre student sent to the ninja academy?" Uchiha Inabi was utterly shocked. The boy before him displayed flawless Sharingan usage and impeccable taijutsu techniques.

No—he wasn't just flawless; he might even be stronger than Inabi himself.

"I need to create some distance and use ninjutsu!" Inabi thought, forming a strategy.

However, Yuma wasn't about to let that happen. He knew his weaknesses all too well. The system had awakened too late, leaving his foundation weaker than others. But now, he had something to make up for it—the [Genius (Gold)] entry.

The line in the entry—'Coping ability increases beyond limits'—activated his potential. Even if his [Uchiha Style (White)] and other entries were subpar, the golden entry, paired with his tactics, could overpower Inabi.

With his left hand, Yuma swiftly pulled a smoke bomb from the pouch on his waist and tossed it forward.

Bang!

The area was instantly engulfed in thick smoke. The brief skirmish had all taken place in less than ten seconds.

Uchiha Fugaku, who had been observing, finally reacted. His expression darkened as he raised his hand to intervene. "That's enough! This—"

"Fugaku-kun, don't be hasty. This is the time to let them prove themselves," Uchiha Setsuna interrupted, stopping Fugaku from ending the fight.

The battle progressed just as Setsuna had hoped. Yuma, previously thought to be mediocre, had shown surprising promise. Still, Setsuna believed Inabi's superior fundamentals would prevail, teaching Yuma a lesson and forcing him to retreat.

But Fugaku wasn't convinced. His anger simmered. "This is going too far..." he muttered under his breath.

Suddenly, the field shifted.

A second Yuma appeared behind Inabi, a steel wire wrapped tightly around his hand. The wire's end was looped around Inabi's neck.

Yuma's right hand formed the final seal for a Fire Style jutsu. "Senior Inabi, it looks like I've won," Yuma said, smirking.

Inabi's face twisted in disbelief. "A transformation jutsu... and a shadow clone?! You cheated! Fight me properly if you're so great!"

Yuma's smirk widened. "Senior, we're ninjas. Cheating is part of the game. And besides," he added, his tone sharp, "making excuses only reveals your weakness."

"Yuma, you're incredible!" Obito cheered from the sidelines. He had watched the entire fight unfold. The moment the smoke filled the air, Yuma had thrown a kunai to mislead Inabi. After Inabi dodged, Yuma's shadow clone had maneuvered behind him, using wire—a signature Uchiha technique—to trap his opponent.

"Elder Setsuna has nothing to say now!" Fugaku's expression shifted, his earlier gloom replaced by a faint smile.

"Hmph! Useless trash! Let's go!" Uchiha Setsuna barked angrily, turning away with his subordinates. As he passed Yuma, his cold gaze lingered.

"This boy... He isn't aligned with me. Did he choose Fugaku or Konoha?" Setsuna thought bitterly. Watching Yuma's growth troubled him. "His talent surged too much after awakening the Sharingan. If he keeps opposing me..." He didn't finish his thought but grabbed the dejected Inabi and left Fugaku's residence.

After they departed, Fugaku sighed deeply, looking at Yuma with pride. "Awakening the Sharingan truly transformed you, Yuma-kun. With your talent now fueled by the Sharingan, you'll achieve great things."

"Yuma-kun, is awakening the Sharingan really that amazing?" Obito asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. Like Yuma before, Obito had yet to awaken his own Sharingan and was often considered the weakest of the clan.

Yuma smiled warmly. "Yes, Obito-san! Once you awaken the Sharingan, you'll become even stronger than me!"

This wasn't mere flattery. Yuma had noticed something remarkable about Obito. The faint red glow in Obito's eyes hinted at his future potential—the [Kamui].

The system buzzed in Yuma's mind, providing information on Obito's abilities:

[Eyes of the Divine Realm (Red)]:

"This is proof that the Uchiha bloodline connects to the essence of the sacred tree, transcending cause and effect. When activated, it grants powerful divine arts."

The description left Yuma astounded. Kamui wasn't just an ordinary Mangekyō Sharingan ability; it was a technique surpassing even the powers of the Rinnegan. Yuma realized Obito's future potential far exceeded that of an ordinary Uchiha.

As the two boys spoke, Fugaku observed them with satisfaction. "Come inside," he said, gesturing to Yuma and Obito. "You're both under Minato's command now. I have something prepared that will help you on your journey."
