How the Creator God Was Made

Chapter 28: Chapter 28: The First Time Traveler

"Shouldn't they avoid suspecting me?"

Although Fang Yuan was confident in his programming skills, he didn't dare take the risk. Without hesitation, he opened the world channel inside the police station, sending both Tan Wei's phone and Tan Wei himself into the Steel Ball World.

"This should solve the problem. Crossing worlds is real, not a lie," Fang Yuan thought to himself as he left the police station.

At that moment, someone approached him. Upon seeing Fang Yuan, the person exclaimed in surprise, "Mr. Fang Yuan, why are you here?"

Fang Yuan was stunned and realized it was Qian Wushuang, a female police officer he had met before.

Qian Wushuang was wearing plain clothes this time. Without her police uniform, she exuded a completely different charm. Her demeanor was still refreshing and bold, but her beauty remained striking.

"Officer Qian! I was just passing by. Are you working the night shift?" Fang Yuan asked, surprised. He hadn't expected to bump into an acquaintance here—it seemed like he knew quite a few people.

"I forgot something at the station, so I came to retrieve it," Qian Wushuang replied. "By the way, do you have any updates on the case where the traffickers disappeared?"

"No. What, you still haven't caught the missing traffickers?" Fang Yuan feigned 'surprise.'

Qian Wushuang's face turned slightly red, as though she thought Fang Yuan was questioning her abilities. She subconsciously defended herself, "That trafficker insists they vanished into thin air. Besides, no matter how much we investigate, we can't find any leads. The surveillance on the train didn't capture the other three traffickers leaving either. But we did manage to track down two of the children who were sold."

Qian Wushuang believed the trafficker was lying but couldn't help finding excuses for herself. It wasn't due to incompetence; the trafficker simply wasn't cooperative.

"I don't know about that. If there's nothing else, I'll be on my way," Fang Yuan said with a smile, brushing past Qian Wushuang.

While Fang Yuan was tempted to pursue this charming officer, he thought better of it. His identity was sensitive, and it wouldn't be wise to interact too much with government personnel.

In the interrogation room, the two police officers interrogating Tan Wei were dumbfounded. Tan Wei had suddenly vanished before their eyes. Had he really crossed worlds?

Equally bewildered was Tan Wei himself.

Tan Wei was now standing outside a small tribal settlement, staring in shock at the primitive mountain cave community ahead. Two men, wearing skirts made of leaves to cover their lower bodies, were staring at him in wide-eyed disbelief.

"I crossed over? I actually crossed over?" Tan Wei was utterly stunned.

After a brief moment of surprise, one of the two men guarding the cave went inside. He soon returned with more than ten people, including three women.

"He's adorned with beautiful things (clothes). Could he be the divine ancient ancestor?" one of the women said in shock, leading the group to approach him.

Thinking he had encountered savages, Tan Wei panicked and turned to run.

After leaving the police station, the more Fang Yuan thought about it, the more he realized something was off. He had been present both when the three traffickers disappeared and when Tan Wei vanished.

If he hadn't encountered Qian Wushuang, it would have been fine. Even if someone saw Tan Wei disappear, they wouldn't have suspected him. But now, meeting Qian Wushuang made things complicated.

What if she connected the dots about the two 'coincidences' and started suspecting him?

"I acted impulsively—really impulsively this time. I should have waited until the interrogation was over and the room was empty before sending Tan Wei into the Steel Ball World."

"But how could I have known I'd run into Qian Wushuang? My awareness range is only 100 meters, with a radius of just 50 meters. I can only detect someone when they're within 50 meters of me."

Qian Wushuang had entered Fang Yuan's 50-meter range only after he had sent Tan Wei away, making it impossible to anticipate.

Even if Fang Yuan wanted to regret his actions, it was too late. With things as they were, he had no choice but to plan to keep a low profile in the future.

"If worst comes to worst, I'll move to a densely populated area in the capital. Those places are unlikely to face nuclear strikes!" Fang Yuan resolved.

As long as it wasn't a nuclear attack, with his current abilities, he should be safe. Even if he were shot, he probably wouldn't die instantly. As long as he had half a second, he could escape into the Steel Ball World.

Fang Yuan didn't leave Shashi in a hurry. After all, if he were suspected, hiding in the mountains or abroad wouldn't help. This area was still part of the nation.

Originally, Fang Yuan had planned to give Tan Wei some special advantages, but seeing that Tan Wei killed three people in revenge, he gave up.

Although Tan Wei's revenge was understandable, Fang Yuan investigated and found the three victims weren't truly deserving of death. Apart from being wealthy and a bit overbearing, they hadn't committed significant wrongdoings.

Of course, Fang Yuan wasn't a saint. Killing someone for stealing your girlfriend wasn't entirely unjustifiable—love triangles had always been a source of deep hatred.

Regardless, with Tan Wei's level of education, as long as he wasn't too foolish, he should be able to thrive in the Steel Ball World.

Fang Yuan's real goal wasn't to help Tan Wei succeed but to push the development of the Steel Ball World.

Tan Wei initially mistook the humans in the Steel Ball World for savages. In his view, only savages would wear animal hides and hang animal teeth on themselves. Fearing he might be eaten, he tried to escape.

But given Tan Wei's physical condition, there was no way he could outrun the humans of this primitive society. He was quickly caught.

Seeing no way to escape, Tan Wei decided to stop running and face the situation calmly. He finally recalled that the entity who informed him about the world crossing had mentioned it was a primitive society. This realization eased his fears slightly.

"Are you... a divine ancestor?" the elderly woman leading the group asked in doubt.

Since these humans were descendants of Bai Fengqing, their language had been passed down from Bai Fengqing and the researchers, so there were no communication barriers.

A divine ancestor? Tan Wei was stunned. However, he quickly composed himself and, pretending to be calm, replied, "How do you know my identity?"

The primitive humans were overjoyed and immediately knelt in reverence.

The elderly woman said, "You really are the ancient ancestor? Our human ancestors were also like you... clean and adorned with beautiful things."

Having never seen clothes, the concept of clothing had become a legend over the centuries. Furthermore, the vocabulary passed down was limited, making it hard for her to describe Tan Wei's appearance.

Tan Wei was momentarily stunned but soon understood the elder's words. He went along with it, claiming to be a divine ancestor who had fallen to the mortal realm due to special circumstances.

Tan Wei was warmly welcomed by the tribe, who held a grand bonfire celebration, complete with roasted meat. The seven or eight women of the tribe also made their appearances.

The men sang and danced enthusiastically, though their deep voices startled Tan Wei.

News of the 'divine ancestor's' arrival quickly spread to other tribes. Women from these tribes became excited and sent emissaries to inquire and pay their respects.

Remarkably, the internal conflicts among the human tribes ceased due to the 'divine ancestor's' presence.

Even the poison controller came to seek guidance from the divine ancestor.
