The surrounding staff rushed to deal with the scene, and Tony returned to take a break, intending to ask this man how he had acquired Ark reactor technology.

However, the first words Jaxon said to Tony upon seeing him left him baffled.

"Tony, have you reached your rebellious phase now that you've taken the Water of Life to become younger?"

Tony was puzzled by Jaxon's criticism and looked confused, "What?"

Jaxon continued, "Tony, you need to learn to pull!"

Tony's confusion grew, "What does 'pull' mean?"

"It means creating distance and using your attack range advantage to keep him from hurting you!"

Tony was about to argue, but Jaxon interrupted him.

"Don't try to argue."

"I saw the whole situation; you didn't keep your distance at all!"

"You're acting like a brainless brawler, fighting him in close combat."

"Without this armor, you'd probably be dead."

"Honestly, your fighting style is really foolish!"

Tony was left speechless at Jaxon's blunt critique.

Finally, he conceded, "Alright, alright. You're right!"

After Jaxon's criticism, Tony realized the truth in his words and didn't argue further.

"He has the Ark Reactor. I have to ask him about it."

Jaxon didn't share any more information. Even if he did, Tony would still want to investigate.

So, Tony went to visit Ivan Vanko.

Jaxon, Pepper, and Happy waited for Tony's return.

Pepper was still a bit nervous, "I can't believe this is happening."

"Not long ago, Tony promised Congress that no one would have this technology for at least ten years."

"And now, someone has created an Ark Reactor."

"This isn't good for Tony or Stark Industries."

Jaxon put a comforting arm around Pepper's shoulders, "It'll be fine. Trust Tony. He can handle this."

"Of course, so can you. I know you're ready for the challenge."

Though Pepper was weary, she prepared herself for the impending storm.

---

Under the watch of a law officer, Tony met Ivan Vanko, who was imprisoned.

Tony opened the conversation, "Not bad tech, but your build quality is lacking. Your copy's a bit clumsy."

Tony gave several critiques on Ivan's Ark Reactor.

"If you made some improvements, you could sell it for a good price. Plenty of people would want to buy it."

"Why are you wasting it on a grudge against me?"

Ivan Vanko looked at Tony coldly, "Your family are thieves and butchers. Like every sinner, you try to rewrite your history, forgetting the lives your family has destroyed."

Tony focused on one question, "Where did you get the blueprints for the Ark Reactor?"

Ivan replied, "My father, Anton Vanko."

Tony remembered some information he'd come across—Anton Vanko had indeed worked on the Ark Reactor.

"I've heard of him."

Ivan sneered, "You're only alive because of my father's work."

Tony retorted, "I'm alive because you tried to kill me and failed."

Ivan smirked, "Did I fail?"

Tony didn't understand Ivan's intent but was confident he could foil any plans Ivan had.

Ivan continued, "If you make a god bleed, people stop believing in him."

"When there's blood in the water, it attracts sharks."

"I just have to sit back and watch as the world tears you apart."

Tony saw Ivan's plan: bring him down from his pedestal and let others finish the job.

The plan was devious, and Ivan was already halfway there.

But even in the face of crisis, Tony didn't drop his sense of humor.

"So, where do you plan to watch the world devour me?"

"Oh, right—here in this cell."

"I'll even send you a bar of soap."

Tony was about to leave when Ivan called after him, "Tony, before you go, remember: death from palladium poisoning is agonizing."

Tony responded, "You won't get to see it. I've already solved that problem."

Tony left the cell and returned to the hotel.

Pepper looked anxious when she saw Tony come back.

"Tony, how did it go?"

Tony shrugged, "It's fine. His father was once on the research team, so that's how he got the design."

"Anyway, he's been defeated and locked up. No big deal."

Pepper sighed in relief. With Ivan out of the way, they only needed to manage the fallout.

But Jaxon offered a reminder, "Do you really think a cell can hold him?"

Tony sounded confident, "Of course. He's a nobody, not from here, with no connections."

"He may be a nobody, but he built an Ark Reactor. Plenty of powerful people will be interested."

Tony nodded, recalling Ivan's words about drawing blood. There were many who wanted to bring him down.

But this wasn't Tony's turf.

Even seeing Ivan in the cell had been a favor.

If anyone wanted to break him out, they'd have to cross some serious lines.

"But this is out of my hands."

"Even if Ivan resurfaces, he can't beat me."

Jaxon wasn't too concerned about Ivan Vanko. He'd already alerted SHIELD to investigate.

Once they proved Justin Hammer's collusion with Ivan, it would be over for both of them.

Even if Ivan built new armor, Jaxon wasn't worried.

It was just steel. He could take it on with his bare hands now.

What Jaxon was looking forward to was Thor's arrival, the God of Thunder.

As an Asgardian, Thor's strength far surpassed regular people's, and he was called the "God of Thunder."

Jaxon was curious to see just how powerful a god was.

How close was he to that level?

Jaxon had long planned to face Hela, the goddess of death. Thor would be the perfect benchmark.

"Alright, we can head back now. Ivan's problem is easily managed."

Pepper was curious, "Easily?"

"Yes. Ivan is a criminal now. If someone tries to break him out, we just need proof, and we can get rid of them."

"Besides, even without proof, their target is Tony's Iron Man armor."

"In the field of armor, no one can match Tony!"

Tony shared the confidence. Except for Jaxon, who was freakishly strong, his armor was top-notch.

"Jaxon's right. There's no need to worry. Let's head back."

Pepper trusted Jaxon, "Alright, then."

After agreeing, they boarded the plane and headed home.

Jaxon naturally took the opportunity to comfort Pepper on the way back.

However, the next day, Pepper found more troubling news.

"The prison where Ivan Vanko was being held experienced an explosion. Ivan Vanko is reported dead!"

"Jaxon, you were right."

"Someone must have broken him out."

Jaxon reassured her, "Don't worry. I'll have someone investigate. We'll get to the bottom of this soon."

To help Pepper relax, Jaxon contacted Coulson.

"Hello, Mr. Jaxon. I figured it must be important if you called this early."

"Yes, I'm sure you've heard Tony was attacked yesterday?"

"Yes, we're aware."

"Ivan Vanko's been rescued, likely by Justin Hammer. I'm sure you can gather evidence and bring them down together, right?"

Though Coulson wasn't thrilled, he couldn't deny it.

"I'll report it to Director Nick."

"And if you find a hammer in New Mexico, give me a call. I'm interested."

Coulson didn't fully understand, but he made a note of it to report to Nick Fury.

"I will."

Jaxon left the matter to SHIELD. With evidence, SHIELD and Tony could work together to handle Ivan and Justin Hammer.

After all, Ivan was now a confirmed criminal, and Justin would pay for his involvement.

Jaxon had other things to focus on.

Today, Jaxon planned to discuss some important topics with Jane Foster.

He'd spent a lot of time studying astronomy recently, gaining a fair understanding.

And conveniently, Jaxon knew that Jane Foster was currently in the city.

Before she and her team left, Jaxon decided to meet with her, then head out together to find the hammer.
