Chapter 302: I'm Bigger Than You!
"Saved the whole Konoha Village?"
Tsunade froze, staring at Finn in disbelief.
"Saved Konoha Village? Why would Konoha need saving?"
Though the attack by Orochimaru was common knowledge, Tsunade had distanced herself from the village for years, focused on gambling and wandering. She had no idea about the full extent of the Konoha Crush operation.
Finn smirked, noticing her puzzled expression. "Yes, this young master saved your entire village recently. Granted, I couldn't help those who were already lost, but the rest? They're alive thanks to me."
Tsunade's brows furrowed, her grip tightening on Finn's arm. "What happened? Why did people die?"
Finn chuckled, shaking his head. "And you call yourself the First Hokage's granddaughter? You don't even know about something this monumental? Shame on you."
Her face burned with frustration, but concern quickly overshadowed her anger. "Just tell me already!"
"Orochimaru," Finn said, his tone turning cold, "your old teammate, launched an all-out assault on Konoha."
"Orochimaru!"
Tsunade's expression darkened instantly. The name alone stirred rage within her. Orochimaru, her fellow Sannin, had always been a dangerous wildcard. But for him to harm Konoha directly? That crossed every line.
Finn shrugged. "Of course, he didn't act alone. He had some... help."
Tsunade narrowed her eyes. "What kind of help? Orochimaru alone is dangerous, but Konoha's defenses are strong. He couldn't have done this alone."
"Exactly," Finn said with a mischievous grin. "Smart girl."
Tsunade bristled. "Don't call me that! I'm older than you by decades!"
Finn's grin widened as he patted her on the head mockingly. "Big in age, sure, but still a little girl in spirit."
Her fists clenched, ready to land a punch. "You're just a cocky kid!"
"But I'm your master now, remember?" Finn teased. "I can call you whatever I want. And besides, I think 'smart little girl' suits you. Cute, isn't it?"
"Master?" Her voice rose with fury. "I don't care how strong you are, you arrogant brat! I'll—"
Before she could finish, Finn raised his hand, and shadows began to pool beneath their feet, growing darker and more oppressive.
"You don't learn, do you?" Finn said, his voice calm but laced with warning.
Tsunade's heart sank as the memory of her earlier defeat surfaced. His power was unlike anything she'd encountered before—overwhelming, inescapable. She gritted her teeth, swallowing her pride.
"Fine," she muttered, her voice low. "You win. Call me whatever you want."
Finn's smirk deepened. "Good. Now let's hear it. Call me 'Master.'"
Her eyes blazed with defiance, but she hesitated as Finn raised his palm again, a silent threat. Finally, through clenched teeth, she growled, "Master."
"There, that wasn't so hard," Finn said, his teasing tone infuriating.
Tsunade glared at him, her fists trembling with barely contained rage. But deep down, she knew this wasn't over.
Not by a long shot.
