I Was Reincarnated with OP Invincibility, so I’ll Beat ’em Up My Way as an Action-Adventurer

Chapter 140

140. An Unprecedented Event

Rushing toward us with unprecedented excitement were the four Rank-S adventurers we had met at the recent party.

They were Ally, the spirit mage, Baruga, the swordsman, Fayle, the magician, and Rett, the priest.

“Long time no see! How have you been?”

Particularly, Ally—a woman in her early twenties—seemed to have hit it off with Lilith and Alice at that time, happily chatting away.

“So you got invited too, huh?”

“Let’s do our best, Haruto.”

“May the blessings of the gods be upon you as well. Let us complete this quest safely, all of us.”

The three men spoke to me, all dependable allies.

“Wow, you know these people?”

Sarome looked surprised.

“Haruto, you’ve got quite the network.”

“When did you start hanging out with Rank-S powerhouses…?”

Luca muttered in awe.

“Oh, we met when I was invited to Lilith’s house recently.”

“…Invited to Lilith’s house?”

Sarome and Luca spoke in unison.

Huh?

Why did they suddenly look so serious?

“Could it be… like introducing him to her parents?”

“Did Alice and Lilith make the first move…?”

“Maybe they’re already planning a wedding…”

“Moving fast…”

Sarome and Luca whispered to each other, their expressions growing tense.

What’s going on with these two?

“N-No, it’s not like that! You’ve got it all wrong!”

Lilith blushed deeply.

“I-It’s just… Father wanted to meet Haruto, that’s all—there’s no ulterior motive!”

Alice’s face was equally red.

“Meet him? So, as a future son-in-law…?”

“They’re laying the groundwork…?”

Sarome and Luca whispered again, exchanging glances.

“W-Wait, that’s not what I—uh, no, not entirely, I mean, uh…”

Lilith stammered, her face crimson.

“I-It’s not like I’m trying to get closer to Haruto or anything… maybe just a little… no, forget I said anything…”

Alice was equally flustered.

Both sisters were clearly panicking.

What’s this all about? I feel totally out of the loop here.

“Wow, Haruto, you’re quite the ladies’ man.”

Ally said with a sly smile.

“You’ve got a cute face… How about it? Interested in an older woman?”

She draped an arm around my shoulder and whispered softly. Up close, she was breathtakingly beautiful.

“I’m single, you know?”

“…!”

Lilith, Alice, Sarome, and Luca all turned around simultaneously.

“Ha, just kidding, just kidding. But I think I get how you all feel. You’re young—fall in love!”

Ally laughed, clearly enjoying herself.

“…Yeah, I’ve got to step up.”

“It’s embarrassing, but…”

“Well, I’ll try in my own way…”

“Love… I don’t really understand it…”

Lilith and the others murmured, looking a bit bashful.

“Anyway, let’s focus on the quest first.”

“The battle is near. Let’s stay sharp.”

Indeed, the battle was approaching.

This was my first time participating in such a large-scale quest with so many high-ranking adventurers. While I was nervous, I also felt an unparalleled sense of reassurance.

“This is an unprecedented large-scale quest. Let’s stay focused.”

Baruga said confidently.

For a moment, something golden flickered on his forehead.

No, not a strong glow—just a faint light.

What was that…?

It resembled a divine skill emblem, but…

They didn’t seem like skill holders, nor did I sense any such aura.

After all, there are only seven skill holders.

Besides me, there’s Gregorio with the power of Murder, Jack with Strenghtening, and Electra who uses Foresight. That leaves three unaccounted for.

If all of them were holders, the numbers wouldn’t add up.

Maybe it’s just some magical crest?

Am I overthinking this?

But that feeling just now…

──Before long, we were led into a room at the guild headquarters.

One wall was entirely covered by a massive screen.

This must be the legendary Void Radar, the colossal device said to exist only at the guild’s main base.

A world map was displayed on the screen, with thirteen points of light blinking at its center.

In the lower right corner of the screen, the words “Predicted Appearance: Three Hours” were displayed.

Those lights likely marked the predicted emergence points of the Syrega.

In three hours, they would appear at those locations on the map.

And not just one, but thirteen simultaneously.

Syrega usually appears one at a time—this was unheard of.

No wonder so many adventurers had been summoned.

And those points…

They were centered around the royal capital of Ludilome and several nearby towns.

Did the demons have a specific objective, or was it just a coincidence?

I couldn’t tell.

All I could do was fight the demons and protect as many people as possible.

For now, that’s all I needed to focus on.
