I Was Reincarnated with OP Invincibility, so I’ll Beat ’em Up My Way as an Action-Adventurer

Chapter 141

141. The Path To The Absolute Ruler

Within the Adonis Kingdom lies the Millet Duchy.

In the splendid manor’s garden, a beautiful woman in a rose-colored dress stood silently.

Her long, golden hair, softly wavy, swayed gently in the wind.

She—Vanessa—was gazing up at the sky alone.

After ‘transporting’ Jack Jarse, who wielded the power of ‘Enhancement,’ to his destination, she had returned to this manor, her home.

“It’s about to begin.”

High above Rudiloum, black specks—the subspace gates known as Syrega—must have already started to appear.

“Sephilia worked hard, too, you know!”

A young girl in a priestess outfit, with black hair braided into pigtails, ran up to her.

Her carefree smile was the epitome of innocence.

“Praise me, praise me!”

She threw herself into Vanessa’s arms.

“Fufu, you did well, Sephilia.”

As prompted, Vanessa gently patted the girl’s head.

Sephilia narrowed her eyes in blissful contentment.

“By the way, I’ve been meaning to ask—Vanessa, you’re a noble’s wife, aren’t you? So why do you get involved in things like this?”

Sephilia’s smile was bright and innocent, but Vanessa didn’t miss the faintly dangerous glint in her eyes.

Behind the cheerful grin, a probing, sharp gaze scrutinized her.

“Don’t you already have a fulfilling life? You’ve got plenty of money and status, so there’s no need for ambition, right?”

As she spoke, Sephilia reached out toward Vanessa’s chest without warning.

“Now, now, none of that, Sephilia.”

Before her hand could touch Vanessa’s ample bosom, it was gently brushed aside.

(A game of wits, followed by sudden skinship… She’s an unreadable one.)

Vanessa muttered inwardly.

“Meanie! Vanessa’s chest looks so soft—I want to touch it!”

Sephilia pouted.

“Electra’s are really nice to squeeze, you know. I’d love to compare them with yours!”

“No need for ambition, you say…”

Vanessa responded with a sultry smile to Sephilia’s playful hand motions.

“Fufu, I don’t consider myself fulfilled, Sephilia.”

She spoke, recalling her past.

Her marriage to her much older husband was arranged by their parents.

Hosting parties at home, participating in charity work—she fulfilled her duties as a noble’s wife flawlessly.

But to Vanessa, such days were dull and monotonous.

Her husband, the Duke of Millet, was among the most prominent nobles in Adonis.

With wealth and influence, he could attain much of what he desired. Yet, he was virtuous.

Too virtuous.

“I was dissatisfied with such a husband.”

“He seems like a good man, though.”

“That’s exactly why I was dissatisfied.”

Vanessa harbored great ambition.

To gain immense power within the kingdom, dominate Adonis,

And eventually bring even the other great powers to their knees.

She dreamed of a day when the entire world would bow at her feet.

An insatiable thirst for power and control burned within her.

Her marriage into the Millet family only intensified that desire.

She had tried to incite her husband more than once.

To seek greater power.

To rise like the Count Lafiel, who had made a name for himself in Adonis.

But each time, her husband would shake his head, looking sorrowful.

“We live not for power, but to serve others.”

“That’s the kind of nobility I aspire to be.”

Her husband was endlessly kind and utterly averse to conflict.

“That’s why I gave up on him. I wanted to walk my own path. To advance with my own power.”

Vanessa reflected on her past, speaking as if affirming her own resolve to Sephilia, who stood beside her.

“The path to becoming the absolute ruler—to ruling over everything.”

──Vanessa was killed more than a year ago.

During her husband’s absence, a servant who secretly harbored feelings for her made advances.

When she rejected him, the enraged servant stabbed her with a knife—thus ending her life.

When she regained consciousness, she found herself in an unfamiliar space.

In a world of pure white, Vanessa encountered a goddess, who granted her a second life and divine skills.

“The power of Transport—on its own, it’s not enough to become the ruler of the world. But if I cooperate with other skill holders, it’s a different story.”

Vanessa spoke aloud, embedding her resolve into her heart.

The stronger her determination, the clearer her vision, the more potent the divine skill’s effect.

“Is that why you sought me out?”

Sephilia’s question was met with a smile.

──After her revival, Vanessa began by devouring the ancient texts her husband had amassed.

She needed to know what was possible with divine power.

And about supernatural entities like gods, demons, and dragons.

If their powers could be harnessed, she might achieve her dream.

To proclaim dominion over the world as the sole and absolute being.

Eventually, she found a path.

A thread as fine as a spider’s silk but with undeniable potential.

And so—her plan began to take shape.

Her first contact was Electra Ravana, who possessed the skill of Claivoyance.

By leveraging Electra’s power, she also encountered Sephilia Rize, another skill holder.

Now, all that remained was to coordinate with Sephilia and advance the plan.

But the plan was far from secure.

Many uncertainties remained.

Electra, obsessed with self-preservation.

Sephilia, whose true thoughts were inscrutable.

And others, like Guildmaster Theodora or Count Lafiel, constantly probing for opportunities to use Vanessa’s ambitions for their own gain.

Even allies were the ones Vanessa needed to watch most closely.

Enemies were abundant.

Many would become casualties.

But beyond all that lay Vanessa’s brilliant future.

A future as the ruler of the entire world, a feat no one in history had achieved.

To reign as the supreme being, surpassing gods, demons, and dragons alike.

The path was perilous.

A single misstep could spell humanity’s doom.

But by utilizing Electra’s foresight and Sephilia’s abilities to chart the best course, Vanessa believed it wasn’t impossible.

It was a gamble.

But to Vanessa, it was a gamble worth taking.

And today—she had come this far.

Following an experiment conducted in the guild headquarters’ underground facility, the plan’s second phase was about to unfold.

Simultaneous multiple summonings of demonic entities.

Assessing the guild’s combat strength.

Monitoring the actions of gods and holy angels.

“Now, fight to your heart’s content.”

Vanessa smiled.

“Show me what you’re capable of, adventurers.”

Clasping her ample chest with both hands, she took a deep breath.

If successful, the feat would be unparalleled in human history.

Outmaneuvering gods and demons, suppressing sealed dragons—Vanessa would become the ultimate ruler.
