Liam spoke at length, glancing over to see the youngest sister, Marigold, clumsily trying to harness the power of the strength serpent, Jormungandr, from her mythological beast devil fruit. 

Golden scales quickly spread over her body. 

In a half-human, half-snake form, clad in golden scale armor, Marigold struck the air with a powerful palm. 

''Bang!'' 

A part of the Island Cloud ten meters away instantly collapsed, leaving a deep hole in the ground. 

"I've become so strong!" She exclaimed excitedly. 

The elderly scientists from Weatheria chuckled and stroked their beards. "As expected from the Strength Snake!" 

Her older sister, Sandersonia, could no longer contain her excitement and activated the powers of the Flying Serpent, Ouroboros. 

''Huā lā!'' 

Her entire body quickly transformed into an dragon covered in glistening green scales. 

From the back of the emerald dragon, wings unfurled, transparent as jade and adorned with shimmering scales. 

''Hiss...'' 

Sandersonia hissed, flicked her tongue, and took to the sky with a powerful flap of her wings. 

The Snake Princess tilted her head back to watch the green snake soar, her face lit up with a smile. 

Naturally, the group, including Robin, turned their eyes to Hancock. 

And yet... 

Hancock showed no visible change. 

"Why aren't you changing?" Liam asked curiously. "Are you showing off your human form? There's no need for that!" 

Hancock stomped her foot in annoyance. "Who said I didn't transform? I did!" 

A question mark slowly appeared over Liam's head. 

Robin studied Hancock's face intently, then said quietly, "She has transformed. Look closely at the contours of her eyebrows, the shape and color of her pupils, and the structure of her face..." 

Liam leaned in with his Stand B.I.B. to get a better look. 

Sure enough, the details of Hancock's face had shifted- her eyebrows and eyes had become more prominent, and her inky black pupils had turned to dark golden slits. 

The longer they stared, the more they felt a chilling yet enchanting allure-cold, serpentine, and irresistibly mesmerizing. Her gaze seemed to entice one to fall willingly into its depths, as if drawn by the eerie sweetness of a serpent's siren call. 

Liam blinked, suddenly aware that Hancock was smiling at him. He muttered confusedly, "Why are you grinning like that? Aren't you going to fully transform and show us?" 

"Hmph! Idiot." Hancock lifted his chin and walked away. 

Liam was stunned, but the Snake Princess and even Robin inexplicably smiled at him. Why were they laughing? 

Wait... 

Liam noticed that the elderly scientists had all turned into stone statues! 

Could it be that I was just... 

... 

'Snake Princess chuckled, "Ah, our Kuja's other princess has become even more beautiful!" 

'Robin mused, "In mythology, Medusa is the most beautiful snake-haired gorgon... and anyone who looks into her eyes is instantly petrified... Uh!"' 

When she turned her head, she saw that Liam had become a stone statue.]

Dragon, Snake Princess, and Kuma were silent. The moment Liam was petrified by Hancock's gaze, they noticed that the pitch-black ghost immediately drifted toward Hancock.

No one doubted that if this had been a real battle, the moment Liam was petrified, his ghost would have quickly subdued Hancock- either killing her or forcing her to reverse the petrification]. 

"It's actually an ability that can be actively controlled..." 

The older scientists clicked their tongues in amazement. Hancock gave them a wicked smile and swept her eyes over them. 

"Yes..."

All the elder scientists turned to stone together. 

"How do I undo this..." Hancock rubbed her chin and fell into deep thought. 

"You're only thinking about this now? Robin wiped a drop of cold sweat from her forehead.

At that moment, Sandersonia, who had been flying for a while, suddenly fell from the sky and landed with a thud on the Island Cloud. 

"Elder sister!" Marigold rushed over to find her second sister back in human form, panting heavily. Alarmed, she exclaimed, "Does flying take so much energy?" 

Sandersonia, gasping for breath, weakly replied, "I don't know... I just can't catch my breath... Wait, what?!" 

She instinctively looked to the elder scientists for help, only to jump in shock. 

Why had the old scientists - and Giorno - turned into stone statues?! 

"We're at an altitude of almost 10,000 meters. The air is thinner here; don't exert yourself," Dragon explained calmly. 

"But what about them..." Marigold helped her breathless sister back to the group. 

Hancock mused, "There might be a way... Maybe I could use Medusa's eyes on them again?" 

"That's impossible! 

They're already stone statues - how can they meet her gaze? 

"I've got it!" 

A sudden realization dawned on Hancock. Without much hesitation, she grabbed her pet snake, Salome, and held its fangs against her pale, tender arm. 

After a brief pause, she pressed the snake's fangs into her skin, leaving a small puncture wound. 

Crimson blood began to flow. 

"This blood…" 

The Snake Princess and the others stared closely, noticing something unusual about Hancock's blood. 

The droplets of blood seemed to take the form of tiny serpents, each one coiled with its head and tail connected. 

"This is the antidote!" 

Hancock smeared her snake blood onto Liam's stone statue, playfully defacing his face with the blood. She took a step back to admire her handiwork, snickering to herself. 

The tiny, serpent-like blood droplets seeped into the stone. 

… 

Hancock walked a few steps away, then suddenly turned back. 

Her facial features had become even more pronounced, now accented with a layer of pinkish, eerie eyeshadow. Her lips had turned even redder and glossier. 

"I'll go familiarize myself with this Devil Fruit first!" 

As Hancock's black hair billowed, Robin watched in shock as each strand transformed into a long, slender snake. 

The tips of her hair became tiny snakeheads, flicking their tongues in unison— a terrifying and chilling sight. 

"Come back!" Liam, exasperated, grabbed Hancock by the back of her collar as she attempted to make a dramatic exit. 

"You still haven't undone the petrification for these gentlemen…" 

"Ugh…" 

Hancock squirmed as Liam lifted her back, her feet kicking in protest. The countless snakes on her head hissed in anger, their forked tongues flicking furiously. 

'So what if you're taller than me? This guy is the absolute worst!'
