Without caring about a single thing, Yimin stripped naked and dived into his bed, also being the first one to sneak into his bed. Yet, from the first girl to the last girl, Cassius remained as nonchalant as always. And as he was too unconcerned to make a big deal out of anything, he just let them snuggle up to him one by one.
But then there was Bella…
Cassius truly had no idea why or how that star-eyed girl ended up sleeping on his right arm in her birthday suit.
He stared at her for a few seconds, thinking of a wide array of possible outcomes for how this situation came to be. However, in his absentmindedness, he realized far too late that the girl in question had opened her eyes and was now staring straight into his soul.
"…Bella…?" Cassius asked calmly, not breaking eye contact. "What are you doing in my bedroom?"
Bella blinked, then looked around, surveying her surroundings. Suddenly, her enchanting eyes widened. She sprang up like a deer in headlights, then sputtered, "T-This is all… all a dream…! Yes, it's all a dream!! And in three seconds, you will not even believe that I was here!"
Usually, Bella was composed and cool-headed, but this development had truly taken her by surprise!
The last thing she remembered was scouting (stalking) her husband's neighborhood when, suddenly, she smelled something impossibly delicious. Following this smell, she found herself at her husband's house. But from that point onward, she had no clue what occurred…
When Bella woke up in the arms of her husband, she immediately passed it off as another one of her wet dreams. And so, to follow the usual plotline, she prepared herself to ravage her dream husband. However, it was at that moment that she realized this was most certainly not a spicy wet dream!
She needed to perform a disappearing trick and act like none of it ever happened!
"Hocus pocus, 3, 2, 1, I was never here!" shouted Bella, and then she quite literally vanished.
Cassius blinked once, then twice, and then again.
"She really disappeared…" he mumbled in disbelief. "I didn't even see her move, nor did I see her use any magic… A C-Rank Awakener shouldn't be capable of something like that…"
No matter how Cassius thought about it, he just couldn't understand what had just gone down.
Ultimately, he figured it to be a waste to mull over it any longer. He shook his head and refocused on the four girls that had somehow not awoken from the commotion.
The transformed escapee bat had also been too caught up in the moment to notice the other girls, which was a fortunate thing for all parties involved…
Cassius, seemingly forgetting that Bella was ever here, looked between the devastatingly beautiful appearances of the women clinging to him. Even their curvaceous bodies were equally beautiful, truly sculpted pieces of art worth dying for.
Observing them truly did wonders in clearing his mind. Though, that wasn't the only thing clearing part of his mind…
Before Bella left, she cast a silent suggestive spell incantation. It was one capable of slightly manipulating the recent memories of even powerful S-Rank Awakeners. Yet, she had no clue what exactly she manipulated, only that she manipulated and erased anything that had to do with "Bella" and the "Most beautiful, loving wife in the world," which she obviously believed to be herself.
Of course, that command was deemed null and void as soon as it left her frontal lobe…
Five minutes later.
No longer able to stand the complete stillness any longer, Cassius began to move his body. The weight wasn't much to him, but the visual image that came along with that weight was a little intimidating.
Still, he made it out of the dogpile alive, and did so without waking a single girl up.
After stretching his arms a bit, he took his Newbie 5 Equipment Set out of his Inventory Space. Due to him not having full confidence in controlling his weight during the night like he could during the day, he stored his weights in his Inventory just before going to sleep.
It was a shame that he couldn't obtain those few extra Physical Stat Points while sleeping, but it was what it was. There would eventually come a time when he could wear the Newbie 5 Equipment Set 24/7, but that time just wasn't now.
Cassius, after equipping his slim weights and hanging his Newbie 5 Sword by his waist, decided to slip out through his room's window. He chose not to inform anyone of his departure or even bother waking up the girls simply because… it was too troublesome…
'Everyone already knows the basic layout of the land, and they have their disguises, so they should be good,' thought Cassius as he readied the B+ Rank Shadow Step skill. 'It's really just Yimin I'm worried about… But it should all work out fine… probably…'
Then, just as he was about to head out and try to progress Main Quest #3 while conquering some Gates, two watery slitted eyes stared right at him. Slowly, he turned his head around, only to see a divinely cute face that looked as if it were going to balloon out and make a shrieking popping sound.
Cassius thought quickly on his feet and Shadow Stepped to Yimin, slung her onto his back, and then vanished into the rising sun.
It would've been a whole big ordeal if Yimin made a loud fuss over their matter, so taking her with him was naturally the easiest choice. Moreover, he was concerned about her behavior after he left, anyway, so this was just saving him the hassle. At least, that was what he told himself to cope.
"Yay!" Yimin exclaimed from atop Cassius's rapidly fleeting back.
Hugging his head with her arms and breasts, she said, "Yimin just knew that Master wouldn't leave her behind with those thieving whores! The only unfortunate thing was that Yimin was planning to eat them to their bones sometime today… But Yimin guesses that can wait!"
