[{ "I did, but I'm not sure I understand why they would do that." }]

The festival is approaching, we are almost done with the preparations in the academy, there isn't much left for us students, but there certainly is a lot that we still have to do about the competition project.

'Yet, with just a week left, here we are, sitting in the garden, observing everyone else by ourselves, while at the same time keeping an eye on the evil cult members who had started moving in a certain manner.'

The ones present on the island are strong, a lot stronger than the ones big brother had faced at the Lakmer battle, but their strength isn't all there is to them.

[{ I think they're trying to create a summoning circle with all those ingredients. You know how I told you about the (T-DOT) type summoning? }]

[{ "They don't know what to do so they are going to summon some dangerous creature on the island? Why would they do that?" }]

There was a possibility that they wanted to get out of the island or their higher ups had ordered them to do it like this, there was also a possibility that they were just doing something random since they didn't have any other idea.

But, a (Tertiary-Demiplain Origin Transfer) type summoning was something people used to perform specifically in large wars.

'In those wars, both sides summoned a being from a higher plain of existence than this mortal reality, either a demon of lower floors of hell or an angelic being that they had some kind of supernatural connection with.'

According to Rayray, there had been times when the original servants of Temple used this kind of summoning to call forth the messengers of the divinities.

And similarly, the Rakshasas of old times also did something like this and called forth 'gatekeepers' of hell plains.

[{ I'm uncertain as to why they would waste so much of the limited resources just to get out of this island, master. I mean, even if they do know there are forces keeping an eye on them, they are strong enough to at least make it out of this place. }]

As we know, to perform a summoning of that kind, they would need things like high density energy objects- things like drake's heart, or eyes of wyverns- and the list wasn't even limited to the draconic creatures.

'There was also direct moral sacrifices involved, but they knew they weren't going to get any souls from the residents of this island, which meant they would have to figure things out on their own.'

They are bad people so they might just take the lives of their own people- which would be good for us anyway- but if that really happens, there is a chance the 'plan' will need some changes.

And big brother wouldn't want that.

"Zoe? Why are you sitting alone?" Liz came with a little worried face and sat down beside me.

"Nothing much, hehe. Just observing nature."

The weather was nice, every other class was working on their projects, most of the preparations were complete, and since our class was taking a break today, there was nothing much to do… so, I was sitting in the garden by myself.

Looking at the new decorated academy, all the lights, the flowers and leaves, the wooden archways that were created in various places was a fun experience.

I was having fun by myself, but with Liz here, we can chat about something more interesting~.

"You know what Liz, how about we go and see how the others are doing~?"

"The others from our class?"

"No silly. The other classes, hehe."

We were almost done with our project. The final model would be ready a day before the festival as well so our class (A) would have a good lot of time on our hands for all kinds of extracurricular activities.

There was nothing much to do today either since after working for the last few days, we were all taking a day off from all kinds of work.

"Why do you want to look at what the others are doing? Wait, in the first place, do we even know where the others are?"

It was also a holiday, so those that were not working on their projects, were resting in their own places.

But staying home without Sister Carla and Alf or Chry was boring.

"I know where they are~. Though, we might not have permission to peek on them, hehe."

Big brother and sister Elle were busy with his work, Tia and others were working with their classes as well even though it was the weekend, so with nothing to do, I was going to be myself today.

'And I wanted that with so much going on with my big brother…'

There was little I can help him with, with my powers and strengths restricted, with all these conditions in place, there's little I can help him with when it comes to the Cultists.

"Hmm? If we can't peek at them, are you saying we should go and ask for permission or something? Aren't we competing against the other classes?"

Especially on this island. Revealing myself would only cause trouble for him, so a long as we are here, I wanted to avoid anything like that.

"I'm not saying we should go and ask them if we can look silly. We wouldn't even be allowed in the places where they are making their projects."

"Right? Unlike us, all of the others must be making some big things to meet the criteria."

Besides, these cult members aside, I was the only one that was looking into the matters regarding this realm's [{( Deto )}].

'With the big picture still before me, I was dealing with things regarding the Everlight plains, Miss Wali, and the things that most of them would have forgotten about already.'

With my ability to see the essence of things and people, with Rayray's help and experience, we could do things that not even big brother can at the moment.

Plus the fragmented divinity makes a lot of things easy.

'Just having access to Truths that mother knew makes the process of Learning much easier.'

Even right now, we were keeping an eye out for what the cult members present on the island were doing.

"Yes, my cute Lizzy. For us, the personal lab or Sir El was enough. But since the others wouldn't have the same ideas as us, they would have their own unique places."

There were suspicions that there were more of them that we didn't know hidden somewhere under the island or something, but we hadn't found any clue about them.

'Keeping an eye on them, keeping an eye on the individuals Celes was following, keeping an eye on the teachers and the other classes and students, plus figuring out the truths that mom used to know before she passed away is all I do nowadays.'

And even now, I was doing just that.

"But that doesn't mean we can't spy on them, hehe."

I called out Ray from his mark on my finger as he sat down beside us.

"With Rayray's help, we can install some little magic circles that will work as connectors on some small insects, send them out to various places, and have him share what's happening on the other side… like a live broadcast."

Ray's support abilities are just too amazing, and diverse, so we can do a lot of things.

Doing things like Celes does was easy for him, but he cannot make clones of himself since his support abilities revolved around supporting me and the other beings, not disguising himself or other 'elements' of nature like Celebs does.

'Besides, unlike her who could be the successor of the Queen of their unique realm, he was simply someone who used to be a Close Friend of the Queen.'

He wasn't that special, but he's still very special.

Using the power of origin was much easier for him since he had been with mom before me, but there were still a lot of things that he couldn't do with me having limited powers.

"Rayray can do something like that as well?"

"I just thought about it so even I don't know, hehe. But, it should work, don't you think?"

[{ Perhaps, yes. }]

We can share vision and senses, I can synchronise with him and we can do amazing things together after that, but since he can't make clones, I've been thinking about other ways we can utilise his special skill.

And, using simple creatures as drones isn't really a bad idea~.

"We will have to be careful with the creatures, alright? The spell that we will be using shouldn't be difficult to make-."

"Wait wait wait! You don't have the spell?"

Liz was shocked and confused for a moment. She didn't know why I would even suggest something like this when I didn't have the spell needed for the process.

"Calm down, dummy. It's easy to make, alright."

I called out some Mana, and started experimenting with a few formations.

Creating new kinds of magic with the extensive knowledge of truths and ancient magic that I have is a relatively simple process.

"Alright. This should work."

We weren't even creating a complex magic system here, so it wasn't that difficult.

"Hmm? You're done already?"

"Yup. Rayray, go and bring a few friends here~."

A few lines to form a connection, a few engraved runes to connect the spell with Ray's energy access wavelength, and a few closing points to make it comfortable on the little creatures that we will put it on.

"Don't tell anyone about this, ok? I'll be in trouble."

"…oh, alright."

She was a good friend before a fellow house captain or a classmate. I knew I could trust her~.

"Hehe, alright then~."

Ray was already back with some good friends that he had made just now.

'He's good with everything, as always~.'

"Alright then. Shall we start?"

Life is much easier with him around.
