"And seeing you is always a funny sight to us, hehe."

She was the Queen and she looked gorgeous. But every time we come here, she's either looking after the little ones or is sleeping with the cuddlers.

She's the queen so aside from looking after the babies, giving birth to the new bees, and looking after her colony as well as the other creatures of this garden, she also looks after her family.

{ "Seeing you with little Vivi today is a first. What brings you all here?" }

Even right now, she was on her throne with a tired look. It was going to be springtime soon, so the time she gave birth was approaching.

Every single day was tiring for her, and with all the things going on in the academy garden nowadays, we all know there must be even more workload on her with the creatures complaining about things, and with the increasing amount of students around a few areas where they shouldn't be.

'She must be going through a lot of things.'

And since she was the queen of the bees as well as overseer of this garden, we know she obviously knows about the festival.

"On the behalf of the headmaster, we are here to invite you to the festival that we will be hosting in a few weeks, my Queen." Miss Viv was the one that was going to say that from the start anyway, so we were going to continue with our friendly talk with the Queen only after she was done with her announcement.

"The festival was organised in the memory of the founding forefathers of the academy, as well as the creators of Our great father."

She was referring to Sir Quesnel since for the creatures of the garden who had not been here for too long, only he was a great father.

"The headmaster, as well as the vice headmaster wishes to see you being part of the celebration, so we all hope you would grace us with your presence, Oh great Queen."

She was being too formal with her, but I'm sure she doesn't know the Queen doesn't like it.

'We have met her a few times and we have a unique relationship with both her, and with sir Quesnel.'

Eon especially has fascinated him many times now, not to mention Zoe.

She's a fun person and personally, I find her adorable~.

{ "Hmmm… I see." }

She nodded her head and called a few cuddlers from the side, talked with them, discussed a few things, and after a while, the light blue bees bowed to her and went out of the great hall.

{ "We will consider joining you if fate allows it. You should look forward to it, little Vivi." }

She was a powerful being, one of the most powerful that any of us have seen. But most of her power didn't come from her own strength or skills that she had.

As a Queen, she held authority over her nest, her family, as well as a special authority over the entire garden of the great academy.

"We all appreciate your consideration, my Queen."

She was done with all that she had to say, so now, there was nothing else she had left.

"Then, we will take our-."

"Oh, Miss Viv. You can go ahead, we will catch up in a bit."

The headmaster advised her to take us with her, and we knew that definitely wasn't because he wanted us to be there with her.

That must not be the case.

"Hmm?"

{ "That is right… we do have something we need to talk about in private." }

There was a lot of stuff actually, it has been a while since we came here to meet her.

"You should go ahead."

"We will be fine, Miss Vivian."

She was confused, like genuinely confused.

Meeting with her was a big thing already, but the fact that we had something to discuss with her that a teacher like her did not know about surprised her even more.

Her three snakes couldn't handle being in the presence of a being as great as her so she didn't bring them. But, she wasn't expecting to come across a weird situation like this.

"If you say so…"

She was confused, but under the Queen's gaze that was asking her what she was doing here still… she couldn't think about anything else anymore.

"I'll wait outside."

"It won't take long~."

And even if it does, there shouldn't be any problem.

The little bees and all the creatures outside will keep her busy in the meantime.

{ "Then…" }

She left soon, and now the two of us were the only ones left here.

{ "How's the preparations to throw out those cult people going?" }

She was the Queen but she doesn't know everything that goes around the island.

Her eyes and ears were everywhere but she didn't have authority over the rest of the island.

"It is looking fine so far, my Lady."

Her territory was limited, like the Queen of the rainbow flamingos on the outskirts, so she obviously was not omniscient.

"You must know what transpired in the conference so we'll recount what happened after that."

"Starting with the discussion about the cult…"

The two of us explained to her what happened after the conference starting from how people all around the world- people who were there in the conference with us- were doing.

After explaining how their actions would have affected the island and ultimately the academy, we started with how the headmaster wanted to deal with the cultists on the island and why he had come with this festival.

We knew she was much smarter than most genius humans we would have found, but we still explained to her everything that we would have explained to our parents.

And, since she had enough authority as the caretaker of the academy's garden, we also told her about how there might be something concerning in this whole plan which we knew so far…

{ "Hmm. I see." }

Some things were complicated but she understood them well.

Especially the things that were related to the academy, her home, and this island, the place where her home was located.

"The headmaster hasn't been back since then, however, he talked with us a week ago and assured us he would be back sometime around today or tomorrow.

The matter with the divinities became a little complicated, but we think he will take care of it all…"

As Eon said, the matter was becoming progressively complicated.

First there were the cultists, then there were them on the island, then we found out how strong the ones on the island were, and now we were uncertain about the kind of things that might happen once again.

{ "Seems like you two have been through a lot." }

She looked at us with a pitiful expression, some bitterness present on her pretty face as well.

{ "Would you like a hug?" }

"Yes, please-."

"It is fine, my Lady."

"Hmm? How can you say no to such a precious opportunity?"

"Uriel, not right now, dear. We don't have to do this-."

"The hell does that mean? Why wouldn't you want a hug when she's offering it with such love?! What's wrong with you?!"

Like, yes she wasn't wearing anything, and since she was the Queen of the bees covered in spikes and blades, she wasn't really the best hugging material.

But still!

She's the Queen!

"If you don't want it, then fine! I'd love a hug, My Queen~!"

He cannot stop me from having this precious hug!

No one can!

{ "Huhuhu. You're such a sweet girl, Uriel." }

I went ahead and hugged her… well, I tried my best at least.

Hugging a being three times your size isn't really a simple thing. But it was a fun experience.

{ "It's sad that you have to go through such experiences at such a young age." }

She's the sweet one for being sad about us who aren't even part of her family.

{ "As an adult, it should be our responsibility to take care of the troubles so that you all can enjoy the peace and joy of this beautiful life." }

She was sad about us, however, she shook her head bitterly and smiled at us.

{ "I know it is a burden for you two as well, but I… we appreciate all that you are doing for us, for this academy, for this island, and for this world." }

She was genuinely thankful to us for everything we were doing.

And she was showing it without hesitation, unlike a certain headmaster who's too busy with his own shit.

"For now, we will appreciate it if you can make an appearance in this event. Preferably in the evening when we are Almost done taking care of the cult people."

The possibility of an unexpected surprise attack still lingers, however, taking down the island of magic's wealth was impossible with even six times of the force the cult had on the island at the moment.

The residents wouldn't let them do damage beyond a certain extent, and if they crossed the line, even Sir Quesnel would take action and deal with them accordingly.

Their victory through an assault was impossible, so if they know about our plan, they would be wise to evacuate the island on their own if they cared anything about their ranks.

If they don't do that though…

"Oh, additionally, we have a favour to ask of you, my Queen."

It would prove two things.

'One, the divinities that are supporting them aren't in contact with any of the individuals on the island.'

And second…

'We still have a way to take advantage of the loose ends they have in their solid organisational system.'

Eon and I both wanted to fuck over this cult as soon as possible. There were going to be bigger things we will have to worry about in the upcoming future.
