Isekai: The Eight Soul Fragments

"Drax!" Audrey, being the only one who could respond at the moment, started healing the sentinels. She then switched to the next form. "[Form III]! [Empress]!" She started boosting Draxus' capabilities completely, switching her role to enhance Draxus' power.

"So in the end, you will still be the failure that will always wallow in the dark begging for everyone to adjust to you huh?" "What the fuck do you mean by that?! It's all your fault that everyone is starting to crumble down here! You're the one that's the failure that caused our downfall!" Draxus and Josh exchanged for a moment before Draxus disappeared from his eyes. Before he could fight back, his legs were already ensnared by icy thorns, pricking his legs as they start to bleed. This time, Draxus has no mercy. "[Black Hole]!" Josh activated a black hole, trying to pull Draxus in, but he simply controlled space magic to fold the black hole multiple times until it was significant.

Draxus disappeared and struck down Josh multiple times. Josh was able to block half and mitigate the damage on the other strikes. He was starting to bleed from his shoulder, cheek, torso, and even his legs. Draxus continued to slowly and methodically cripple Josh, even incorporating [Boundary Magic] with ice spikes firing from each one. Draxus was purposefully not striking Josh at the vital spots, torturing him completely with each attack as he slowly loses his ability to defend himself. However, Josh was not panicked for some reason, which is why Draxus was still keeping his distance after landing attacks on him.

Ice spikes from the boundary fired, which Josh blocked about most of them as his claymore was quite large, he was pierced in the shoulders and the stomach. The icy thorns were now digging into his legs, and he was bleeding from most of his body. Keith was afraid whether Draxus is actually going to kill him, but just as Draxus was coming close to strike Josh with his two swords, Josh finally smiled. "[Full Reset]!" Everything that had been done to Josh was suddenly dispersed, the icy thorns, the ice spikes gouging into his body, the cuts and injuries were all gone. Draxus remained unfazed however, simply continuing to overwhelm Josh with his attacks, but this time, Josh was now counterattacking. "[Black Hole]!" When Josh creates a black hole, Draxus simply pauses the time in the area and folds the space to make it like nothing happened. When Josh realized that a lot of Draxus' mana was being sapped by having so much attacks done at once, he thought that stalling out Draxus' reserves was his plan. "[Burst of Gamma]!" Josh fires a laser, but it didn't even hit his target. He then changed the trajectory towards the exhausted vice chiefs which forced Draxus to protect them. Josh was shocked however, as Draxus was completely handling the laser with his barrier.

Josh continued firing, and now activated another magic. "[Solar Storm]!" Magma was starting to float around into a storm, which would hit Draxus and the Sentinels behind him. Draxus still remained unfazed however, he would still have boundaries firing ice spikes towards Josh who continued to try and attack more. "Hmph... It's a good logical answer, I use ice magic often and I am not that great in extreme heat." Draxus shrugged his shoulders while keeping the barrier up. He sheathed both of his swords as it was now a magic duel. "[Astral Divination] [Glimpse the Stars]." He raised one of his hands up high as it starts to create astral bolts, small rocks falling from the skies at the speed of a comet, and even a complete meteor drop. Josh, watching Draxus seemingly assume the form of the Destroyer, he was now attacking without any shred of mercy. "[Micronova], [Astral Chain]." Draxus was chain-casting like he has no issues with mana. The attacks from the boundaries to the sides continued, the icy thorns were starting to gouge his legs again, preventing him from moving as he received most of his attacks. "[Full Reset]!" Josh activated another full reset close to his death. The sentinels, and even the guests were starting to become afraid. Josh's true power could just allow him to continue fighting for the end forever, while Draxus has a relentless variety of abilities that will just endlessly deny Josh to even have a chance to attack.

"[Full Reset]!" Josh activated his full reset again, he was determined to actually end Draxus. He tried making use of [Nothingness], but Draxus remained completely unfazed. It was then everyone saw it for the first time. Draxus' aura had showed his true colors, the [Prime Existence] of all the worlds in the universe. It has manifested behind him, changing his eye color to white as a manifestation of wings appeared behind him, along with a giant ring with two gems glowing while the other holes seem to be empty. It was only for a moment as it instantly disappeared right after. But Draxus remained on that form as Josh was starting to become desperate. He realized that he was starting to run out of time, and thus he would make use of his true trump card. "[End of the World]!" Everything in the room collapsed in an instant, and Draxus having his ability to place them all in [Dimension Zero] was starting to crumble. However, he has a failsafe as he knew Josh would try something like that.

"[Merge all the Boundaries of the Beginning and the End]..."

Everything had stopped, Josh's [End of the World], all of his abilities, and everything related to both the beginning, and the end. Audrey's [Arcana Goddess Form Cycle] was cancelled, lifespans have stopped, life and death were also placed in halt, nobody will die in Draxus' [Dimension Zero]. There was nothing, just silence for a few moments as Josh realized that his power was nothing towards Draxus.

Draxus started walking towards Josh with the single-edged cybernetic sword out. It was Reito's sword, the Destroyer soul. Josh now realized that the only thing he could do is strike Draxus with his weapon. But being shown that he was truly powerless against him, he stepped back on instinct. The being in front of him with white hair and white eyes walking towards him, with clothes turned white while having holographic wings. Josh tried to swing, hoping that his force is much stronger than Draxus due to their difference in body builds. Draxus twirled and struck Josh's sword in response, as it was the Destroyer's sword, it instantly shattered Josh's claymore. Draxus remained unfazed as debris flew towards him. Some cuts appeared on his cheek and his arms from the debris of Josh's weapon, but they were all instantly healed as if nothing had happened. The emotionless being coming towards him were finally bringing out his fear of his own death. "S-Stay away...!" Josh stepped back, trying to stay away from Draxus. He tried to swing his arm to hit him, but it was easily pushed away by Draxus' experience in hand to hand combat.

Josh was then struck on the chest by a brutal force of Draxus' bare hands. He stepped back twice, bending his body down from the pain, but he was not given time to breathe as Draxus did a spinning back kick right into his cheek. He was starting to fall down to the left, Draxus swiftly moved and kneed him right in the face as he fell, making him go flying. It was a brutal beatdown by Draxus. Just as he was about to land, Draxus kicked him in the back from below, raising his body up while Draxus followed it up by spinning a bit before landing an axe kick on his chest, forcing him down and shattering his ribs. Draxus then stopped for a moment. "Come on, do a [Full Reset], I dare you." Draxus started taunting with his eyes staring coldly at Josh. It was then Josh fully understood, Draxus will always be above him in everything. He did as he was dared and activated another [Full Reset], every damage he received was recovered, all used mana was returned, but he still couldn't cast anything. He tried one last resort and tried kicking Draxus in the nether regions, but his leg was grabbed and was raised only to be smashed back to the ground. Draxus then gripped his head and forcefully face planted him into the floor multiple times. Draxus finally ends the [Dimension Zero] ability, the Prime Existence Manifestation and his Boundary Merging when he saw Josh unconscious. Everything in the courtroom was a mess.

Now, Keith and Audrey who had somewhat recovered, face Draxus who stood victorious of the battle with their hopes.
