Jikirukuto: Takoyuki Arc

Chapter 20: A Royal Stand, Unexpected Allies, and a Bold Comedic Intervention Save the Day!

Alright, picture this as a casual vlog entry. I'm sitting back, one hand on the mic, casually talking about the crazy stuff that happened today. Trust me, you won't believe it.

Prince Gabrielle, looking all royal and serious, stepped up and said, "Enough!" His voice was strong, cutting through the tension. "In this city, we judge by actions, not looks." It was a bold move, shutting down the nobles. Even I was impressed. Wow, okay Prince Hero!

Yuki, a bit surprised by Gabrielle's sudden support, quickly found her footing. "Yeah, what he said!" she shot back. "And for the record, I'm not a thief. But if you want to mess with nobles, I'm down." She wasn't scared, and you could see she was ready to fight if needed.

The nobles, however, weren't having it. They gave disapproving looks, clearly unimpressed. The air felt tense, like something big was about to happen.

But then, Gabrielle seemed to hesitate, like he was second-guessing himself. Sensing this, Yuki's expression changed, and tears started to form. Oh no, not the crying. Not in front of everyone!

Just when things were about to get super dramatic, Alepou showed up. She walked in like she owned the place, wearing a bright orange tracksuit and a yellow cape, her hair bouncing as if it had its own wind. She was full of energy, totally breaking the tension.

Without skipping a beat, Alepou kneeled next to Yuki and jokingly asked, "Yo, Yuki! What's with the tears? Are you auditioning for a soap opera?" Her timing was perfect, instantly lightening the mood. 😂 She wasn't even phased, just roasting Yuki in front of everyone.

Yuki, still a bit shaky, pointed at the old man who was still going off. "That old guy's making all this drama!" she said, her voice thick with emotion. The crowd started to feel for her. Seriously, it was like a scene from a drama.

But Alepou wasn't about to get caught up in all that drama. She quickly stood up, her playful attitude replaced by serious determination. "Oh, we're doing this now?" she said, her voice full of power. "Let me show y'all what happens when you mess with my girl."

Gabrielle tried to get things back under control. "We need order," he said, trying to sound important. "Any more trouble will have consequences." Like, chill, dude, we've got it.

The nobles went quiet, their confidence shaken. The old man, being led away by the guards, looked defeated. His earlier arrogance was gone. RIP, grandpa.

Yuki, still a little shaken, gave Alepou a weak smile. "Thanks for swooping in like a superhero," she said, genuinely grateful.

Alepou grinned. "What are friends for?" she replied. "Now, let's get out of here before these losers try something again. And listen," she added with a wink, "when dealing with drama queens? Let 'em cook."

Yuki blinked, confused. "Let them cook? You mean like...dinner?"

Alepou laughed, nudging her playfully. "Nah, sweetheart," she said. "Let them stew in their own nonsense. Watch them make fools of themselves while you just relax. It's like a comedy show, and they're the punchline." That was some top-tier advice. She turned to the crowd and said, "Lesson time! When a Karen—or in this case, a snobby noble—starts talking, just let them go. They'll make idiots of themselves while you sit back. No need to argue—just let them self-destruct."

Gabrielle, looking totally stunned, was just in awe. He'd never seen anything like that.

Yuki, back to her confident self, flashed a mischievous smile. "Stick with me, Your Highness," she said, "and you'll see a lot more. Now, let's grab some takoyaki before another noble decides I'm public enemy number one."

And with that, the unlikely trio walked off, leaving the crowd to process the crazy scene they had just witnessed. The lesson here? Sometimes, the best way to handle life's craziness is to sit back, let it unfold, and enjoy the show. Let them cook, let them stew, and let them be the joke.

And that's it for today's vlog! Like, comment, subscribe, or bookmark, and I'll catch you in the next one!
