Jitsu -A different story-

A street lamp was shining with all its intensity since there was no sign of anything preventing it from doing so at that moment, there were not even some insects flying around the bulb, which gave a very clear image of the landscape.

A light wind moved the leaves of the trees making most people feel a bit cold at night since winter was beginning, for that very reason, both Shizune and Kurono had not forgotten to take a light coat with them, and they were using them now since they were on the characteristic park bench that they already knew quite well while it was being completely illuminated by the light of the streetlight from before.

They felt like the only people awake in the huge city as there was a deep silence because there was no one else around besides them. Shizune was rubbing his hands as if they had fallen victim to the cold environment, but just as she was doing that, she felt Kurono's hands touch theirs and then the warmth it was transmitting to her.

"Hehe. Thank you Kurono-kun." Shizune's smile was quite charming and Kurono was the only one who could really appreciate that.

Both of them had just gotten out of the car after leaving Kazumi at the gym, Kurono had told Shizune that she wanted to talk about something, but she was not against that, so they agreed to go to the usual park to do it more comfortably.

"It's nothing, although my hands are also a bit cold, maybe it would be a good idea to buy a pair of gloves." Kurono thought about that as he remembered that he should buy some clothes for the winter.

"That's a good idea, I'll make sure to find something that goes perfectly with you." Shizune's attitude was quite lively, she was already imagining that little adventure with Kurono and it only increased her good mood.

During this period of time, many good things happened to her, her efforts in the exercise were rewarded, Rena was completely healthy and her pregnancy was going without problems, although Shizune reconsidered the fact of pampering her so much; her friendship with Kazumi had become very strong, she had also met some people in the gym who had been very nice to her and that she could say that she knew quite well, but besides that, something that also made her very happy was Kurono.

Shizune still told herself that Kurono had come into her life without warning and that everything happened too quickly, but the happiness she felt every day was something very special to her. Their relationship was evolving since they had become a couple, knowing more about each other, knowing their own feelings and tastes... Of course, not everything could go smoothly, Shizune also remembered the times when both she and Kurono could not agree on something, but they knew how to fix things without exaggerating anything.

Although something else to mention, and that Shizune was very aware of that, was that their sexual life was something very present between them, maybe that is something quite normal in a relationship, but Shizune knew that many times they exaggerated too much, but... She was also very happy about that; besides she couldn't deny that she enjoyed it very much.

But leaving all that aside and returning to the present, Shizune was very curious about what Kurono wanted to tell her, she couldn't think of anything in particular, but it didn't take long for Kurono's voice to be heard again.

"It's been months since our relationship started, isn't it?" Kurono was looking at nothing while saying all that, Shizune felt that he was remembering many things and that the question he asked didn't really need to be answered. "You know, Shizune-chan? There are still things that I have never discussed with you, it's not because I didn't trust you, of course that's not the case."

Kurono's tone of voice was somewhat serious, although he himself didn't want Shizune to feel that he was actually that way.

"Don't worry, Kurono-kun... It's the same case for me after all..." Shizune wanted to speak at that moment once she understood what Kurono meant, and she felt the same way, there were still things important things about his life that he hadn't talked about seriously with Kurono.

"Yes, but actually I don't think it's the right time for it yet, surely you feel the same way." Kurono had looked back to Shizune giving her a small smile to let her know that he was alright.

That very thing had made Shizune do the same, they knew that sooner or later they would have to talk, but they hoped that the situation had enough reason to do so, besides that maybe they weren't really prepared...

"What I'm getting at is that I may be a fool in these regards, Shizune-chan. I think about things too much, sometimes I always imagine the worst possible scenario no matter how small it may be, and that makes me hesitate too much." Shizune didn't say anything, especially since she was just like Kurono. "But I don't want any of that to do any harm to our relationship, we may not really need to make it clear, but I want you to know that I will always be here to listen to you, whatever happens, even if it is a small problem, I would like to know and help you at any time."

Yes, maybe Kurono didn't need to say that, especially since Shizune had realized that a long time ago, Kurono was always very attentive to her, always asking her how she felt, trying to make her happy whenever he could, and helping her. Anyway, that very thing had made Shizune not want to be left behind, so she also did the same for Kurono, maybe that was one of the reasons why their relationship was strong, but it was good that Kurono expressed exactly that.

Shizune had brought her figure closer to Kurono, he felt that, but before he tried to do anything else, he also felt that the sides of his face were being touched by Shizune's hands, Kurono could feel a slight trace of cold on them, but that feeling faded too quickly as he was more focused on what had just happened.

Both Shizune and Kurono were now joined by a warm kiss that was enough to make them forget about the cold environment that surrounded them, Kurono was still being touched by Shizune, but it didn't take long for him to put his hands on the sides of Shizune's waist and pull her closer to him.

That exchange seemed quite long for them, but the reality is that it was only a few seconds before they had to catch their breath, Shizune felt that she should do that small action to let Kurono know that everything was fine, and the new smile that she was dedicating to him at that moment had been enough for him to be convinced of that, as well as to make him stop doubting.

"I love you, Shizune." Kurono's voice was heard loud and clear, besides the fact that the atmosphere between them didn't make that out of place, Shizune didn't find it strange that Kurono told her that, many times he reminded her, and she had to say that she was always happy to hear it, but she had to let Kurono escape since the last thing had really been new for her... But she didn't hesitate at that moment either.

"Hehe, I love you too... Kurono." A small blush adorned Shizune's cheeks, although it was something quite simple, both of them were aware that this moment was quite special.

Kurono also felt happy at that moment, there was nothing else he wanted more than to be with Shizune, but he had also been a bit surprised by her reaction.

"Aren't you going to ask why?" Kurono felt the need to ask.

"Nope. Actually, I was waiting for the moment when you would start calling me only by my name, I didn't know you cared about such things so much, I guess Kurono is still a young boy." At that moment, Shizune started to stroke Kurono's head while he didn't know what to say.

It was true that he was younger than Shizune, but he rarely felt that was the case, although he had to admit that this time he had been completely defeated by her seeing her act that way causing him to only give a simple sigh at how foolish he had been.
