"Still won't you tell me why you're so restless?" That was the first question Akio asked after arriving home and noticing the nervous and mysterious aura around his dear wife.

"There's no time for that, just look at the door, I have to help Mom!" Without explaining the strange situation, Rena had gone up the stairs to the room where Shizune was probably.

Akio had done what Rena told him, in principle because he had nothing better to do besides that he was still just as confused, it had already been about half an hour since that, and just when he was about to look for a snack in the fridge, he clearly heard the characteristic sound of the door being knocked, and then went to see who it was and understand the situation a little more.

"Yes...?" But before asking who it was, the figure of the person who was to one side of the door appeared before his eyes and he couldn't prevent that unconscious greeting from coming out of him.

"Good night, Akio-kun."

"Likewise, Kurosawa-san!" Akio had been surprised again to find Kurono so suddenly and had to take the form of acting respectfully of him. Akio was also aware of the interaction that had been present between his boss and his mother-in-law, and he had to say that he had nothing against it, besides seeing Kurono being there, Akio was getting a little idea of ​​what was going on, but before anything else could come out of the two of them, a rather cheerful voice appeared in that instant.

"Good evening, Kurono-san, may I know what are you doing here? Hehe!" Just from Rena's expression and manner, Kurono realized that she wanted to tease him a bit. "By the way, you look quite handsome if you ask me, is there any special occasion?"

"Rena... I'm still here, you know?"

"I know, what about that?" Hearing that, Akio returned to having a depressing look and kept silent as he thought that his wife was somewhat cruel to him.

"Well, I don't want to complicate things or appear mysterious... Actually, I came looking for Shizune-san, is she here?" Kurono had kept his complexion calm. He was so busy thinking about the plans he had prepared that he forgot to acknowledge Rena's compliment. He had dressed in fairly formal attire and groomed himself as best he could for the occasion, and though he wouldn't admit it, there were some nerves within him.

"So you come looking for Mom, huh… Are you going on a date or something?" Rena's laughter couldn't be ignored, she was actively seeking to make Kurono more nervous or embarrassed, but her plan didn't seem to affect him.

"Yes, I asked her to go on a date with me tonight." Kurono had said that without the slightest hesitation and Rena didn't know what to say, she expected to play a bit besides enjoying the whole show, but she decided to stop at the same time she heard that voice lowering by the stairs.

"Rena, why…?" That question had come from Shizune, but she couldn't even finish it as she noticed the person outside the door and her legs kept moving towards him without a care.

Kurono was also aware of that, his attention had been caught by that beautiful woman who was now in front of him, it seemed that the world had stopped for a fraction of a second as he realized that he couldn't keep quiet any more time and said the only thing that had come to mind.

"You look beautiful, Shizune-san."

"T-Thank you, Kurono-san." Shizune had also come out of her own world. She had already asked Rena several times if she really looked good, but just by hearing Kurono's praise, a small blush had appeared on her face as well as a beautiful smile that seemed to be directed especially at him.

Shizune really looked amazing, she was wearing a dark dress that completely hugged her figure highlighting her important points, the small touches of makeup accompanied by the hairstyle made especially for her highlighted her beauty, and that added the totally sincere smile and that feeling of happiness that came out of her, they made her convey a unique feeling that made Kurono unable to take his eyes off of her.

"You also look elegant tonight."

"I appreciate the compliment, then... How about we leave right now?"

"That seems perfect to me."

"Then, please." Acting duly and indicating the way, Kurono had left the apartment together with Shizune, many ideas were in their heads, but most of them were due to the expectations they had about the special event hoping that everything turned out for the best.

"Is it me or were we literally ignored?" That question came from Rena once the couple left the apartment.

"Basically… So this was the reason for your acting so mysterious?"

"Yes, I took care of preparing Mom for the occasion, what do you think?"

"You did a great job, although it was also a surprise, I didn't know that Mother and Kurosawa-san get along so well."

"I have high hopes for the future, haha."

"It is not good that you intervene too much, you should let things take their course."

"Mom's love life is too important not to do something about it, but I guess you're right... Anyway, it seems like you're still unaware of something important."

"What thing?" After his question, Akio felt Rena move closer to him and then reach the side of his ear and hear those words in a low voice that were totally wonderful for him.

Without being aware of what would happen inside the apartment, both Kurono and Shizune reached the sidewalk in front of the building for Shizune to see what was there.

"Well, I don't usually use it much actually, but I thought it was necessary." What Kurono was referring to was the elegant car that was parked at that moment. He wanted to give a new image of himself to Shizune, and that was one of the things that he had prepared to surprise her. "If you allow me."

Taking a gentlemanly act, Kurono took Shizune's hand to direct her and help her to take a seat inside the vehicle while he did the same.

"Thank you very much, Kurono-san. It really was a surprise, I didn't know you had a car."

"There are times when I just relax and take a ride on it, but don't worry, I have full confidence in my abilities." Some laughter came from Shizune due to Kurono's words. She felt nervous about the situation, but it seemed that she didn't feel that way and just enjoyed whatever the evening would bring.

"And where are we going exactly? You just told me we were going to have dinner." Shizune had said that question with curiosity since she didn't know where they were going, but noticing this, Kurono simply wanted to opt for his mysterious attitude so as not to spoil the surprise.

"You will know when we arrive, you just have to relax and enjoy everything Shizune-san. I will make you enjoy tonight and at the end of the day there will be a huge smile on you."

"That just makes me more anxious, but I'll trust you. I was really looking forward to our date."

"Yes... The same goes for me." With those words, the car began to move at the same time that the atmosphere between the two took on that unique sensation that was totally unmistakable to anyone.
