Jujutsu Kaisen the origin

Chapter : Prologue second part: Jujutsu Kaisen the origin

In another place, where there was only darkness, Kaito opened his eyes. He looked around and thought:

—How strange, I can't see anything.

He moved his hands to his face and said:

—I can't see my hands either, but I feel like my eyes are open.

Kaito began to move his body as if nothing had happened. He sat down and thought:

—It's strange... why can I move? I fell from that height; I should have broken all my bones.

He sighed in resignation, looking back at the darkness surrounding him. Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through his head.

Kaito held his head in both hands and began to scream. Fragments of unknown memories began to flood his mind. The more time passed, the more intense the pain became. Finally, after what seemed like hours, the torment ceased. Kaito took a deep breath, trying to calm himself, and muttered:

—What are these memories? It's like they're from another life, but they're just fragments... Why are they appearing now? Hmm... This is strange. Could it be that I'm dead and have come back to life? But how? It doesn't make sense.

He let out another sigh, trying to find answers, and stood up. He looked around again. Slowly, his vision began to clear. What he saw stunned him: a strange energy seemed to float in the air, surrounding him completely.

His eyes could clearly perceive it. It was like a thick, strange miasma, moving with a life of its own. Kaito, curious, reached out towards that energy. When his fingers touched it, the strange energy rushed into his body in a violent manner.

Immediately, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. Emotions began to flood his mind: pain, suffering, anger, hatred, envy... Each one of them felt so intense that it seemed to overwhelm him.

Those emotions soon turned into thoughts. Something was changing inside him. Kaito brought both hands to his chest, trying to contain the torrent of sensations.

After a while, the emotions stopped. His mind fell silent. Exhausted, Kaito fell to his knees on the dark floor, breathing heavily.

Kaito sat on the ground, still breathing heavily. With a mix of frustration and bewilderment, he spoke out loud:

—Damn it! What was that? Also, my absorption ability took that energy… and those emotions I felt… hmm… Those thoughts weren't mine.

He was silent for a moment, closing his eyes. Slowly, he began to concentrate, trying to understand what was happening inside him. As he did, he felt something inside him calling to him.

Kaito opened his eyes in surprise, and was suddenly mentally transported to a strange space within himself. There, in front of him, was a sphere of energy floating in the darkness.

He looked at the sphere closely and noticed something alarming. Before, that sphere had been a bright blue, almost heavenly color. But now... now it was a deep blood red, and a strange, dark, turbulent energy emanated from it.

Kaito reached out for the sphere, but the energy it emanated made him instinctively recoil. There was something deeply disturbing about that transformation.

Frowning, he whispered:

—What is this...? This wasn't here before...

He stared at the sphere, feeling like something inside him had changed forever.

Kaito snapped out of his mindspace and opened his eyes. The air was still covered in that strange energy, like a miasma that slowly moved around him. Without hesitation, he reached out his hand and cautiously touched her again.

This time, the energy entered his body again, but it was different. Emotions returned: pain, suffering, anger, hatred, envy... However, this time it didn't hurt. They flowed through his mind like a turbulent river, but without dragging him along with them.

Kaito closed his eyes again and concentrated. When he opened them again, he was back in his mindspace. There was the sphere of energy, floating in the darkness. But something had changed: the violent energy that had previously emanated from it seemed to have vanished, as if it now accepted him.

With a steady step, Kaito approached the sphere. He looked at it for a moment and, without hesitation, reached out his hand towards it. His fingers touched the surface of the sphere, and in that instant, a stream of thoughts and emotions flooded through him.

She squeezed her eyes shut as the fragments of information sorted themselves into her mind. At that moment, everything made sense.

Kaito opened his eyes within his mindspace, his gaze more firm and determined than ever. He whispered to himself:

—Now I understand...

A slight glint crossed her gaze as a smile slowly formed on her face.

—I see... so I died in that place, but I have been reborn again.

The fragments of memories that had once been hazy were now beginning to fit together like puzzle pieces. However, the clarity brought with it a weight: the emotions and memories of the Kaito he once was were still there, mixing with new sensations that were beginning to form.

"These emotions…" she whispered. "The ones I felt before have disappeared, but now new ones are replacing them. And these memories…? They haunt me, as if they were mine and yet not. This is complicated…"

Kaito closed his eyes, trying to calm the storm in his mind. He took a deep breath, and when he opened them again, he was back in the present.

The darkness still surrounded him, and even though he tried to look at his hands, the lack of light made it impossible to distinguish them. He could only feel them, and that was enough for now.

"I guess for now..." he said quietly, letting out a long sigh. "Surviving will be my only goal."

He stood up, feeling the ground beneath his feet. Then he looked around and spoke, his voice echoing in the void:

—I'm not Kaito anymore. I'm another being... The third to be reborn.

He paused, thinking.

—In my first life, I did not belong to this world. In the second, suffering followed me. But in this, in this third life... I will be that which the world hates.

He took a few steps forward, as the strange energy of the place began to swirl around him with increasing intensity.

"This energy…" he continued, observing her. "It is the darkest emotions of humans, all gathered deep within the world."

He paused, then, in a voice filled with determination and resentment, declared:

—I am the creation destined to bring despair to everything around me.

The energy around him began to swirl at a dizzying speed, as if responding to his words. Kaito clenched his fists as he continued:

—What they did to me in my second life, I will pay them back tenfold. I am the curse they themselves created.

The energy seemed to respond to his will, slowly entering his body, filling him with a dark, visceral power.

Kaito began to walk as he felt the energy flowing inside him. His mind was filled with calculating thoughts:

—First, I will stay in this place for a long time. I will use the ability of this body to create a powerful technique. In my first life, I have vague memories of fictional characters with interesting abilities... I will choose the most useful one, the one that this energy can manifest.

He paused for a moment, looking to the side, though everything was still dark. The only thing visible was the energy floating in the air.

—Second... this world is too big to destroy alone. I'll need allies.

Kaito raised his arm, concentrating the energy at a point in front of him. The energy slowly began to gather, forming a figure. After a while, something small took shape.

Kaito couldn't make out the details, he could only sense the energy and the incomplete structure of the being. The creature moved, but before it could stabilize, it exploded, and the energy scattered in all directions.

Watching the dispersion, Kaito sighed, his tone cold and analytical:

—I need practice... and a specific skill to make it work.

However, instead of getting frustrated, he continued walking, his thoughts now focused on his plan:

—First, I will absorb all the energy in this valley until there is nothing left. Afterwards... I will call upon my unique ability and leave this place.

He paused for a moment, his dull eyes staring into the darkness around him.

—And when I get out... I will destroy them all.

A deathly silence filled the space, as the energy of the place seemed to bend completely to his will.

Days began to pass as Kaito walked around the place. For some reason, his body didn't need food or rest; it seemed like the very energy of the environment was sustaining it. Kaito noticed that his body had completely changed.

As time went by, his eyes began to get used to the darkness. Little by little, he was able to distinguish the shapes and contours of the place. It was then that, observing his reflection in a faint surface of dark energy, he discovered something surprising:

"My hair…" he murmured, running his hand through his head. "It's turned white…"

He also noticed that his body was no longer as he remembered it. He was thinner, but he emanated a strange, restrained strength, something he could not fully describe.

Time continued to move forward, and days turned into years. During this period, Kaito began to experiment with the energy around him. He managed to create deformed creatures, beings without intelligence that wandered around the place erratically. However, there was a problem:

"They always explode…" he said, watching as one of his creations disintegrated in an explosion of energy. "I need to stabilize them."

Despite the difficulties, he did not stop. His determination grew with each failed attempt. The energy, violent and unstable, remained a challenge, but Kaito learned to manage it with each experiment.

Days turned into months, and months into years. A full decade had passed in that place.

Kaito, now different in both body and mind, stood in the center of the vast, dark void. His gaze reflected a mixture of coldness and purpose as he observed the result of his latest experiment: a more stable creature, which, though still deformed, seemed to last longer before collapsing.

"Ten years…" he whispered, a crooked smile on his face. "I've learned a lot in that time, but there's still more to achieve."

The energy of the place seemed to swirl around him, responding to his will as never before. His control over it had evolved, and with it, his view of the world he once knew.

"This is just the beginning…" he said quietly, as he reached out his hand towards the creature, watching as it slowly faded away into a dark mist. "I'm not ready to leave here yet, but soon… very soon."

A year later, Kaito walked through the darkness. Unlike before, there was no longer any mist, no traces of energy floating in the air; the place was completely empty. Finally, he stopped in a corner of the vast abyss and muttered:

—The last bit of energy left in this place...

He reached out his hand towards the small concentration of energy remaining. Upon touching it, it was absorbed into his body. Kaito felt his insides shift once more, his being adapting to the new buildup of power.

Without stopping, he began to walk as high as the place would allow. When he got there, he looked up. In the distance, barely visible, a faint yellow dot weakly illuminated the space. During his time there, Kaito had used that point as a reference to distinguish when it was daytime.

He sighed deeply, his gaze fixed on the light. At that moment, his body began to swell, as if it was going to explode. However, the pressure was quickly compressed, returning him back to normal.

Kaito looked down and examined his body. He was skinny, his ribs and bones clearly visible. His torso was bare, while his pants, just a rag, hung in tatters. Despite everything, he didn't feel cold. On the contrary, a feeling of warmth surrounded him, as if this place was his true home. His white hair, now extremely long, dragged along the dark floor.

—It seems my ability is about to explode... —he murmured, running a hand through his hair—. But every time it reaches that point, it compresses. This has been going on for six years. Well, I had about 5 years of energy left so it was likely to explode 6 years ago but nothing happened, probably because I'm not human anymore... but something else.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

—Today... I will awaken my abilities.

Concentrating, Kaito entered his inner world. There, in front of him, was the gigantic ball of energy. It was so enormous that he compared it to a sun, but this one shone with a deep red, as if it were burning with uncontrollable fury.

"My parents told me about this…" he murmured, as he looked at the sphere. "When I awaken an ability, I should find a ball of energy about two meters in diameter and blue in color. But this…" he looked up at the sphere, surprised by its enormous size. "This is huge."

Kaito slowly approached the sphere, feeling the heat emanating from it. He raised a hand and placed it on the red surface. The energy pulsed under his touch, as if it were alive. He closed his eyes, and memories of his first life began to surface in his mind.

"I sorted through the memories of my first life," he said quietly. "And I found a useful, but inefficient, ability. So I looked for something better. I found another."

A slight smile appeared on his face as he continued.

—If I'm not mistaken, those skills belong to fictional characters from the same world. But they will be useful here. The first skill will be weapon replication, and the second, a place where I can store them: the Gate of Babylon.

He concentrated even more, feeling how the energy in the sphere reacted to his words.

—Before, when I tried to ask for something like that, my ability reacted as if it was warning me that the energy wasn't enough. But now... this is different.

The energy within the sphere began to spin faster, responding to his will.

—I hope both skills evolve. And if the Gate of Babylon grants me some of the weapons I remember from that fictional world... —he laughed with some contained emotion—. It will be perfect.

Kaito closed his eyes, channeling all his concentration into the sphere. Energy began to resonate, and his insides filled with a mix of emotions, purpose, and power.

—It's time to wake up...

Energy began to move with overwhelming force within Kaito's inner world. In an instant, everything exploded. The explosion of energy completely filled his inner space, an uncontrollable whirlwind that illuminated every corner. Kaito was abruptly expelled from his mental world, his eyes snapping open in the real world.

At that moment, a surge of energy was violently released from his body, shaking everything around him. The ground trembled as if it was about to collapse, while deep cracks began to form from the pressure. A deep red flame enveloped his body, radiating an overwhelming heat that seemed to consume the place.

The air around Kaito was shaking, as if space itself was being torn apart by his power. But then, something unexpected happened. The flame surrounding him changed color, transforming into a bright golden hue mixed with red hues. A blinding light filled the place, making it shine like never before.

Kaito let out a piercing scream, a roar that echoed like thunder in the vast abyss. With his scream, a thick cloud of steam emerged from his body, spreading in all directions and covering the entire place.

Inside the steam, Kaito remained motionless for a moment, breathing deeply. Slowly, he raised his hand and moved it gently. The simple gesture unleashed a gust of wind that forcefully swept away the steam, partially dissipating it. Then, from above, a faint drop of light managed to filter through the large crater that crowned the place. That light managed to illuminate his body.

The glow revealed a completely transformed Kaito. His once gaunt and weak physique had changed drastically. His body was now muscular, with a build that radiated power and perfection. His skin seemed to reflect a healthy glow, and on his hands, sharp claws had replaced his human nails.

Kaito sighed deeply and leaned his head back, closing his eyes for a moment. The light caressed his face, as if confirming his rebirth. Lowering his head, he slowly opened his eyes, his pupils shining with a fierce intensity.

"I have been reborn... again," he said, his voice deep and gravelly, filled with determination and a hint of coldness.

It was clear: Kaito was no longer the same. He had transcended the limits of what was once human. Now, he had become something completely new, something the world was not prepared to face.

Kaito extended his hand, and something began to take shape. It was lightning-like patterns of red color, which rapidly joined and intertwined. After a moment, a katana fully materialized in his hand.

Kaito looked at the katana carefully, and in the reflection of its blade he saw his own eyes. The image surprised him: his eyes had changed completely. The sclera was now a deep black, while the golden iris shone with reddish flashes. The pupil, elongated like that of a beast, reinforced the feeling that he was no longer the same.

"So this is the new me..." he murmured as he continued to examine the katana, feeling the energy that had created it flow in sync with his own power.

Kaito swung the katana to the side and released it into the air. The blade was absorbed by a golden wave that distorted the space around it.

Kaito watched carefully and then pointed at a point in the distance. Behind him, another golden wave appeared in space, from which the katana shot out at high speed towards where he had pointed, causing a loud roar:

—BOOM!

The impact raised a cloud of dust, and Kaito watched as the katana began to slowly disintegrate, turning into sand-like dust.

He closed his eyes for a moment, concentrating deeply. As he opened them, several golden ripples emerged in space behind him. From these ripples emerged a variety of weapons: spears and swords of different sizes and shapes that shot towards a nearby wall. Upon impact, another powerful rumble echoed out:

—BOOM!

The explosion raised another cloud of thick smoke as Kaito watched in satisfaction.

"It's complete… I have the skills now. Plus, it seems I was able to recreate some weapons," he said, as he watched the weapons slowly disappear, disintegrating into dust.

He reached out his hand to the side and slowly opened it, muttering:

—We just need to check if that weapon is here. The sword that splits the world...

In that instant, the space in his hand fractured, as if time itself had stopped. From that fracture appeared an imposing and strange weapon: the Sword of Rupture, Ea . It was long, with a unique and complex design that seemed more like a relic from another universe than a simple sword. Its blade was composed of segments that seemed to spin and vibrate with primal energy, while a red and gold glow emanated from its core. Each fragment of its structure radiated a colossal force, as if it had the power to tear apart reality itself.

Kaito held the sword for a moment, looking at it carefully, and thought:

—So here it is, the most powerful weapon...

He let out a sigh, and the sword disintegrated into dust like the others.

"It's not time to leave yet. First, I must hone my powers," he concluded, as he turned on his heel and walked back into the vastness of the void that surrounded him, his determination stronger than ever.

After walking for a while, Kaito stopped abruptly. With a firm movement, he slammed his hand towards the ground, landing with his outstretched palm. At that instant, red marks began to appear on his body, running down his arm and extending to his face. They glowed brightly, pulsating as if they were living currents of energy.

Simultaneously, new marks began to emerge on the ground, spreading out like a complex pattern that connected various points in the crater, forming a network that unfolded from side to side. Energy began to flow forcefully through the marks, filling the place with an oppressive and powerful aura.

Kaito looked up and spoke in a firm, authoritative voice:

—It is time for my allies to be born. Their creator claims them.

The energy in the place stirred violently, rising like an invisible storm. Small stones on the ground began to float, while the darkness of the crater expanded more intensely, covering everything like an impenetrable blanket. Marks on the ground burned with a deep red glow, and at various points in the energy network, rotating vortices began to form.

Kaito slowly stood up, his gaze fixed on the vortices that were completing before him. In a solemn voice, he declared:

—I curse this place. Follow my orders.

Strange, deformed beings began to emerge from the vortexes. Some had features reminiscent of humans, but their bodies were grotesquely twisted and reconstructed. Others were true abominations, monsters born of unimaginable terror. These creatures spread throughout the crater, filling the place with their malignant presence.

The beings, noticing their creator's presence, turned their gazes towards him. One by one, they bowed briefly, showing absolute respect. Kaito, however, looked at them with complete indifference, as if their existence was of no importance to him.

In a cold, emotionless voice, he ordered them:

—Save yourselves and wait for the birth of more allies.

The curses obeyed, sinking into the shadows until they disappeared completely.

Kaito looked at the empty crater, now filled with the trace of his power. He thought to himself:

—This place fills with energy from time to time. I'll use it as an incubator for these creatures. Also, it seems that some of them have some consciousness... It will be interesting to see how they develop.

With a serious look, Kaito turned on his heel and started walking.

—Now, it's time to train my skills. I must prepare to face all the beings that inhabit this planet... and destroy them.

Darkness enveloped him one last time before his figure emerged from the edge of the crater. The years had passed in a flash, and now, after five long years of preparation, Kaito found himself in the place where the sunlight barely filtered through, dimly illuminating his body. All around him, hidden in the shadows, were the fruits of his power: hundreds of deformed and terrifying beings. Some had more human forms, while others resembled wolves, snakes, and even stranger creatures, but they all shared a dark and disturbing essence.

Kaito spoke, his deep, authoritative voice echoing through the air:

—It's time to go to the surface. There are hundreds of us, creatures with strange abilities and capable of doing anything. Now, I order you... prepare yourselves.

The curses began to move silently, shifting like living shadows. One by one, they sank into Kaito's own shadow, disappearing at an overwhelming speed. In a matter of moments, the place was empty, as if they had never existed.

Kaito looked up at the faint sunlight that managed to filter through the cracks atop the crater. His golden eyes, surrounded by the darkness of his black sclera, shone brightly as he spoke in a whisper that held a mix of determination and longing:

—It's time to see the sun... and the landscape of the world.

He leaned forward slightly, as if he were about to leap into the void, and in an instant, with a tremendous leap, he disappeared from the spot. His figure rose with inhuman strength and grace, reaching impressive heights.

In the air, Kaito steadied himself as his white hair billowed like an ethereal waterfall. For a few moments, he simply floated, staring up at the sky and feeling the warmth of the sun on his skin. He closed his eyes for a brief moment, enjoying the sensation before opening them again. He looked down, where a vast expanse of snow-capped mountains stretched as far as the eye could see.

With an almost imperceptible smile, Kaito stretched his body in the air, as if releasing the tension accumulated over the years. His smile soon faded as he looked at his worn clothes, vestiges of what had been his life in the depths.

"This won't do..." he muttered to himself.

An energy began to surround him, destroying the remnants of his clothing and enveloping him in a brilliant aura. Within seconds, a new outfit formed over his body, reflecting his newfound power and position. He now wore a dark, majestic uniform: black pants and boots reinforced with pieces of armor; a black yukata with gold trim and gold detailing, partially open to show his chest, and secured with bandages on his wrists. A second layer of yukata rested on his shoulders, adding an air of royalty and sophistication. Everything about his appearance exuded an aura of wealth, power, and absolute authority.

Her long, shiny white hair floated freely around her, giving her an imposing, otherworldly presence as she hovered in the air.

Kaito looked out over the landscape once more, his expression serious and calculating. The time for hiding was over. Now, it was time to bring his darkness into the world. With a gentle but determined movement, he began to descend, ready to unleash his will upon all within his reach.

Kaito reached the ground with a serene movement, stepping lightly on the snow as he began to slowly walk forward. His long, shining white hair trailed behind him, as if caressing the cold ground. Each step he took seemed to echo in the stillness of the landscape, marking his progress towards an unknown destination.

Elsewhere, life continued in apparent calm. In the center of a town filled with joy, children played in the streets while adults attended to their daily chores. Everything was tinged with happiness, a complete contrast to the figure of Kaito who advanced inexorably towards them.

In the main square of the village, a frail-looking old man was talking to four young people, two women and two men. They all shared a peculiar resemblance, black hair and similar features, although of different ages. The difference between them was almost imperceptible, and their presence emanated a feeling of strength and respect. In front of them, the old man spoke in a paternal tone, holding his cane firmly:

—You boys have extraordinary abilities. The world will respect you. The eldest of you is 19 and the youngest is 16. It is time for you to find a wife and start families. Make this town the best place to live. Your skills are already honed, and you have experience fighting witches.

The young people exchanged glances filled with pride and happiness, nodding with determination. They smiled at each other, sharing a moment of hope.

Meanwhile, in another part of the town, now more like a city due to the number of inhabitants and the prosperity that could be seen on every corner, security was provided by a high wooden wall that protected the residents from predators and other threats. At one of the main entrances, two guards were chatting, each at one end of the gate.

"It's a pain to be here all day," one of the guards complained, yawning. "If a predator shows up, all we have to do is call the brothers to take it out."

The other guard, leaning on his spear, nodded resignedly.

—You're right, but it's the leader's orders. We can't do anything.

The first guard observed the bustle within the city, where people laughed, worked and lived in peace.

—Still, it's a relief that those kids were born here. Thanks to them, we can live in peace.

The second guard smiled slightly.

—That's true. Besides, they're kind and their arrival has made the town grow like never before.

Suddenly, a strange noise broke through their conversation. It came from the bushes across the road, beyond the trees. Both guards squinted and tensed. The sound grew clearer, as if something was coming closer. Finally, a figure emerged from between the trees, walking down the path that led to the town.

When the figure fully revealed itself, the guards widened their eyes in astonishment. It was a man with long, shiny, snow-white hair that floated slightly with each step. His attire, elegant and dark, radiated authority and mystery. Kaito paused for a moment and turned his head slowly, observing the city with a cold, impenetrable gaze.

The guards froze as they locked eyes with him. Their bodies were unresponsive, as if an invisible force had deprived them of their will. Kaito continued forward, passing through the entrance without anyone daring to stop him.

Inside the city, the hustle and bustle died down in an instant. The merchants selling their wares, the children playing, and the pedestrians walking the streets all stood still. A deathly silence enveloped the place as their instincts screamed at them to do nothing. Every glance directed at Kaito was filled with fear.

He walked calmly down the middle of the street, observing the place coldly. He looked up and muttered, in a voice full of disdain:

—So this is what they achieved by destroying my peace... Hmm, I see. They didn't do so badly.

As he passed, everyone stood still, unable to even take a deep breath.

In the center of the village, the old man and the four young men immediately felt an overwhelming presence. The four brothers looked at each other, their eyes wide open and cold sweat running down their bodies.

The old man, noticing their reaction, looked at them with concern.

"What's wrong?" he asked, gripping his cane tightly.

The eldest of the young men replied with a trembling voice:

—Something... something non-human has entered the village. And it is very strong.

The old man opened his eyes in surprise, as did the others present. The presence they felt was like nothing they had ever experienced before.

"Listen!" the old man shouted urgently. "You must leave here immediately! Don't stay!"

The young men hesitated for a moment, but the fear in their eyes was evident.

"It's late, old man!" the elder exclaimed, desperate. "We can't escape now."

The old man looked in the direction where he felt the presence. His hands were shaking, but he gritted his teeth and spoke firmly:

—There is still hope! You must try. Even though my instincts are screaming at me to run, I know it is too late for me. But you still have a chance.

The young men exchanged glances, but eventually began to run, escaping the village with all their might. Behind them, the other inhabitants who had been present also began to flee, panic-stricken.

The old man stood firm, looking in the direction from which the presence came, which seemed to envelop the entire place in shadow. With his staff shaking in his hands, he waited for the inevitable.

Kaito arrived at the center of the village, where an imposing mansion stood as a symbol of the place. His eyes, filled with coldness, observed the stairs that led to the top of the structure. He turned his head slowly, studying everything around him. He noticed that the other half of the village seemed nonexistent, as if it had been erased from the map. Then he looked towards the path that led to the gate and, finally, towards the opposite entrance, located in the distance.

Suddenly, a sound broke the stillness. Footsteps echoed on the stairs of the mansion. From the shadows appeared an old man leaning on a cane, his face marked by age and worry. With a trembling voice, the old man spoke:

—Ser? What do you want from this place?

Kaito turned his attention to him, looking up to lock eyes with the old man. That simple action made the old man freeze in place. A wave of terror ran through his body, paralyzing him.

Unhurriedly, Kaito began to climb the stairs, his footsteps echoing in the silence. He stopped in front of the old man, towering over him like a figure of inescapable judgment.

"It's been years," Kaito said with a bone-chilling calm. "I see that not even age could finish you off."

The old man looked up slowly, his eyes filled with surprise and fear. He wanted to respond, but the words stuck in his throat. It was as if his body itself refused to obey him.

Kaito continued forward, passing him until he stood with his back turned in front of the mansion. His cold gaze scanned the building's facade for a moment before he slowly moved a hand forward.

At that moment, a powerful rumble shook the place:

—BOOM!

The entire mansion was reduced to rubble in an instant. Beams and walls shattered, scattering in all directions as if they were made of paper. The old man barely dared to look out of the corner of his eye, his body trembling as fear filled his eyes.

Kaito slowly turned around, standing next to the old man as his gaze fell on the city, filled with people who now remained silent and terrified.

"This place used to be nice," Kaito murmured, his voice tinged with a mix of nostalgia and contempt. "I could live here with what I used to call family."

The old man, his face pale, tried to speak again, but his trembling lips failed to form any words.

Kaito glanced at him and continued:

—You ask for forgiveness, old man? But you don't have the courage to risk your life?

Snow began to slowly fall from the sky, covering the place with a cold blanket. Kaito took a deep breath before speaking again:

—Leader of the people, do you remember me? All the things you did to me? For years I thought about how to make you suffer more. But no matter how many ideas I had, none of them satisfied me. So I decided to do them all, one by one, until something pleased me. Do you understand?

The old man gritted his teeth, but did not dare to answer. His body was rigid, consumed by fear.

"If you say those words," Kaito continued, his tone like a sentence, "you will condemn everyone to a fate crueler than you can imagine. They can die painlessly… or experience suffering for all eternity."

The old man, who was about to shout to warn the villagers to flee, snapped his mouth shut. His eyes, now filled with tears, reflected the internal struggle between his duty and his fear.

Kaito, noticing her silence, added in a tone full of contempt:

—Leader, I notice that several presences left this place. And it was because of you. Now, a part of them will die. Did you know that?

From Kaito's shadow suddenly emerged four humanoid figures, each with a terrifying appearance. The first was completely black, with blue energy emanating from its body. The second was similar , but its energy was red and vibrant. The third had multiple mouths distributed throughout its body, and the fourth possessed a single eye that seemed to observe everything.

The beings knelt behind Kaito, bowing their heads in submission. Without looking at them, Kaito gave them his orders:

—Go get the humans who escaped. Among them are four sorcerers. Bring them back intact. If the others don't want to return... make an example of them.

The beings disappeared in an instant, moving at an inhuman speed, leaving behind a trail of shadowy energy.

Kaito turned his attention to the old man, whose figure seemed increasingly hunched under the weight of the situation.

—Now let us wait, old man. Until everyone is present, we will not begin.

The snow continued to fall without stopping, covering the ground with a white blanket that contrasted with the charred remains of the mansion. The silence was almost sepulchral, broken only by the crunch of the flakes as they settled and the trembling steps of the villagers who were beginning to arrive at the center of the town. Their faces reflected panic, their bodies moved stiffly, as if each step brought them closer to an abyss from which they could not escape.

Kaito watched the people from the top of the stairs. His cold gaze was enough to make anyone want to turn invisible. Then, he spoke, with an eerie calm:

—It seems they have arrived, village leader.

The old man, still standing next to Kaito, gathered all his remaining courage and, with a trembling voice, pleaded:

—Forgive those people... They didn't do anything wrong. It was me who did it.

Kaito glanced at him, a flash of boredom and contempt crossing his face.

—Village leader, those words... How many times did you say them to my mother? To my family?

The old man remained silent, unable to respond.

Kaito narrowed his eyes, a cold glint in them, as his tone took on a sharp edge:

—That's what annoys me most about you. That you ask for forgiveness, you hypocritical old man, and that you don't admit your mistakes until you're facing death. But don't worry... you won't die. I'll make you suffer more than anyone else in the world. I hope you're ready.

The old man lowered his head, his body trembling, but he said nothing.

People continued to approach the center of the village, their gazes filled with fear. Each step they took was harder, as if an invisible force was crushing their bodies. When they tried to look up, their eyes met the imposing figure of Kaito. The terror they felt then was incomparable; the initial panic that had invaded them seemed insignificant compared to what now dominated them.

After a few moments, the last people arrived, closing the circle in the center of the village. Then, from the shadows in front of the stairs, the four beings sent by Kaito appeared. Each one carried an unconscious body, which they threw to the ground without care.

The sound of bodies hitting the snow caused the villagers to back away, creating an empty space around the beings. Their gazes were fixed on the monstrous figures, and the fear in the air became palpable.

Kaito watched them indifferently and spoke, his voice echoing in the freezing air:

—Leave them there. Now get out of the village. Find anyone who has escaped... and kill them all. Don't leave anyone alive.

The beings bowed their heads in obedience and disappeared in the blink of an eye, leaving behind a feeling of emptiness and desolation.

Kaito looked at the four bodies on the ground and then turned his attention to the old man.

"They look like my mother…" he said with a cold smile that didn't reach his eyes. "Now, what do I do? I want to kill them immediately… but it would be too easy."

He crossed his arms, thoughtful, while his gaze assessed the unconscious ones. Finally, he came to a decision.

—Let's wait for them to wake up. We have time.

A few minutes passed, and silence reigned again. Slowly, the four young men began to regain consciousness. Their eyelids opened heavily, and their eyes moved, trying to understand where they were. First they saw the villagers, their faces full of fear. Then, their gazes rose to the top of the stairs.

Seeing Kaito, their bodies instantly tensed. A mixture of surprise and terror flashed across their eyes, as if they had seen a nightmare come true.

The tension in the air was almost palpable as the snow continued to fall, enveloping the stage in an icy blanket. The young people, still shaking, remained silent as Kaito's gaze pierced them like a knife. His cold, authoritative voice echoed:

—I see you've woken up. It's time to get started.

The four of them instinctively took a few steps back, their eyes filled with fear and confusion.

Kaito turned to the villagers, his expression unfazed as he looked at them one by one.

"You wonder why a creature like me is holding you prisoner in this place, don't you?" he said calmly, though his tone held a sharp edge. "You wonder what you did to deserve this."

The snow continued to fall, and the cold seemed to intensify with every word.

"I wondered that myself for years," Kaito continued. "When I was locked up in this place, when my freedom and peace were taken away from me, I kept asking myself what I had done to deserve so much suffering."

The villagers exchanged nervous glances, but no one said anything.

Kaito turned his attention to the four young men.

—Tell me, how did you get to this village?

The young men exchanged uncertain glances, until the eldest of them gathered the courage to speak:

—We don't know exactly. We were born in this village, but... our parents died here, during an epidemic.

Kaito slowly turned his gaze towards the old man.

"I see…" he murmured, his smile frozen, not reaching his eyes. "Village leader, you didn't tell them the truth. You're afraid they'll hate you for how they were born."

He turned his attention back to the crowd, his voice echoing in the cold air:

—And you? Who knows what happened years ago in this place?

No one answered. The villagers stood still, the silence as heavy as the cold that enveloped them.

"I see..." Kaito said, narrowing his eyes. "If no one wants to talk nicely, then I guess I'll have to take other measures."

He raised his hand in a slow, deliberate motion. At that instant, all the children in the village began to rise into the air as if they were puppets on invisible strings. The screams of parents broke the silence, and chaos erupted. Some tried to jump to reach their children, while others fell to their knees begging.

"They will all die," Kaito declared with chilling calm.

Panic spread like wildfire, and the screams multiplied.

—It's time for someone to step forward and tell the truth about what happened years ago in this place. You have three seconds.

The desperate parents continued to struggle to save their children, but no villager dared to move.

"One..." Kaito said, with a slowness that made time seem to freeze even more.

Desperation grew. The screams intensified, but no one spoke.

"Two…" he said, as the villagers looked around frantically, as if searching for a savior.

Just as Kaito opened his mouth to say "three," a shaky voice broke through the chaos:

—I know what happened! Please forgive them!

Kaito looked down at the villager who had shouted, a middle-aged man who was shaking like a leaf in the wind.

"Since you know what happened, tell them everything, truthfully," Kaito said, his tone sharp. "And listen carefully: for every lie you tell, one of the children will die."

The man gulped, his legs barely able to support him as he looked at the other villagers, then turned his gaze back to Kaito. The desperation in his eyes was evident, but he began to speak:

-Us…

Kaito interrupted his words coldly:

—Listen, villagers. And you, speak up.

The man nodded shakily and continued:

—We… were once a small village. In order to make the village grow, we made a deal with the sorcerers. They asked us to help them destroy a clan of enemy sorcerers, and we agreed. We complied with their demands… we captured an entire family. In the end, the sorcerers took care of the rest, but… we were left with two prisoners: a woman and her child.

The man lowered his head, his voice cracking.

—We kept them locked up here for a while… until the mother offered us a deal…

Before he could continue, one of the children floating in the air was brutally crushed. Blood splattered all around, and a heart-wrenching scream arose from a woman who fell to the ground crying in agony.

Kaito looked at them coldly and spoke:

—Speak the truth. Tell everything, just as it happened.

The man, trembling and paralyzed with fear, opened his mouth to continue, but at that moment the old man, leader of the village, beside Kaito stepped forward.

"It was me," he said, his voice shaking but determined. "It was I who offered the woman a deal. I promised her that if she had a son with sorcerer powers, we would free her and her son."

The old man paused, swallowing as the villagers' gazes turned to him in horror.

—But we didn't follow through. We kept them imprisoned even after she did her part. Years went by… she had four children, but we… we dumped the first child in a crater like garbage.

The silence that followed his words was icy, broken only by the cries of a few mothers in the crowd.

Kaito stared at him, his eyes flashing with suppressed fury.

"I see you continue to disguise the truth with lies, old man," he said, his tone icy as the still-falling snow. "Your stupidity and your lack of courage to admit your mistakes have sealed the fate of several here."

With a wave of his hand, several more children were crushed into the air, their bodies exploding in a macabre spectacle. Blood splattered everywhere, and the mothers' screams echoed in despair and horror.

Kaito watched the chaos emotionlessly as he spoke:

—Every lie you tell will cost lives. What happened in those years was that this leader kept us prisoners for a whole year. Then, he came up with a deal that turned out to be a vile lie, deceiving my mother, abusing her. In the end, he didn't keep his promise and my mother was brutally raped, turning her into a child-rearing machine, all because this old man wanted to make sure the people had something to defend themselves with.

Over time, my mother's mind broke down from the suffering. The pain drove her to suicide. In the end, the old man caught me and threw me into the crater. I witnessed my mother being raped every day, without being able to do anything for her or the villagers of this cursed place.

The old man glared at him, but Kaito watched him with complete indifference.

Kaito turned to the villagers, who were unable to utter a word. It was then that he spoke:

—This is why you will suffer. You should not have gone through this. You did nothing wrong, and neither did I. I did nothing wrong, but I still suffered because of this old man.

The clan leader spoke, his voice filled with anger:

—I should have finished you off from the start.

Kaito glanced at him and calmly replied:

—If only that had been the best.

The villagers looked at each other, not knowing what to say. Kaito looked at the young people, who were in shock at what they had just heard.

Then his eyes turned back to the villagers. At that moment, the children floating in the air began to fall to the ground, and their parents greeted them in a hurry and despair.

The old man next to Kaito asked:

—What do you plan to do?

Kaito glanced at him, and in that instant, a black spatial wave emerged from his body, expanding with great force throughout the village. The old man was pushed by the wind that generated the wave, and Kaito spoke loudly:

—Eat the humans.

At that moment, some villagers throughout the city began to scream in pain, as their bodies transformed into monsters, into curses.

Kaito continued:

—This space wave is infused with dark cursed energy. The villagers will transform into monsters, but they will retain their consciousness, although they will be unable to do anything. They will eat their families, one by one.

The monsters began to move, devouring people, and the villagers screamed in despair. Chaos broke out. Blood splattered everywhere, as everyone ran to escape, but it was useless.

The old man fell on his back, terrified, watching everything around him being destroyed.

One of the monsters spit fire, burning villagers and reducing houses to ashes. Others devoured children. It was carnage. The destruction of the village was underway.

Kaito glanced at the old man and spoke:

—Village leader, tell me. All the years of your life protecting this place, transforming it into a great place for others at the expense of my family… and now? This place is destroyed.

The old man, fallen on the ground, turned to look at Kaito with hatred and replied:

—Damn monster.

Kaito turned and walked towards him. The old man looked at him with terror in his eyes, but he couldn't move. Kaito lifted him up by his clothes with disturbing ease, his eyes shining with cold indifference.

"Does this hurt?" Kaito said as he grabbed one of the old man's arms.

Without further ado, he began to slowly pull at the old man's arm. The old man screamed in pain, but Kaito didn't stop. The sound of crunching bones filled the air until finally, with a brutal yank, he ripped the old man's arm off.

The old man let out a heart-rending scream as tears streamed down his face, his body shaking from the immense pain.

Meanwhile, the four young men watched in terror as the village unfolded. Their eyes were filled with fear as they watched the devastation and suffering spread like a plague.

Suddenly, a loud scream echoed from the top of the stairs.

The young men, alerted by the sound, ran to the top of the stairs with the intention of attacking Kaito and saving the old man.

Kaito noticed them immediately, his gaze impassive and cold. He spoke in a calm but determined voice:

—You carry my blood, so you will die without pain.

Suddenly, spatial ripples erupted around them, expanding like a dark vortex. From these ripples emerged four spectral weapons, sharp and lethal. With a simple wave of his hand, the weapons flew out at an overwhelming speed, mercilessly piercing through the youths. The power was so devastating that their bodies exploded into pieces upon impact.

The old man looked at the scene in horror . His eyes widened in a mixture of disbelief and terror, unable to articulate a word.

Kaito glanced at him sideways, with an expression that combined indifference and contempt.

"You no longer have the will to live," he said coldly. "I see it in your eyes."

The old man, dejected and hopeless, looked up at Kaito, but did not say a word.

—But don't worry, —Kaito continued—, you won't die so quickly.

At that instant, a black and gold energy erupted from Kaito's arm, spreading like living snakes to the old man's body. The energy penetrated his skin, and Kaito let go. The old man fell to the ground, writhing as his body began to transform.

"Your conscience will remain intact for many years," Kaito said, watching the old man's body deform, his voice cold and distant. "I wonder how much hatred you will accumulate towards me in the time you have left of suffering."

The old man's body turned into a grotesque, deformed monster, his missing arm replaced by dark, twisted protrusions. Kaito stepped back, looking at him with disdain.

"Devour your offspring," Kaito ordered. "Even if they are in other villages, do not leave a trace of your blood in this world."

The monster, obeying the order, let out a guttural roar before launching itself into the void with a leap. It descended the stairs in a single movement and disappeared into the distance, ready to fulfill its mission.

Kaito watched her walk away and then calmly began to descend the stairs, his imposing figure dominating the chaos around him. Once on the ground, he stopped and spoke in an imposing voice:

—Get out of my shadow and go to other villages. Kill all the humans you find. Don't stop until everything is destroyed.

From its shadow emerged countless monsters of various shapes and sizes, each emanating a dark and lethal energy. The creatures quickly scattered, destroying everything in their path.

Unfazed, Kaito looked up at the village and extended his arm towards the ground. Red energy began to flow from his feet, spreading out like roots that connected to various points in the village.

"This place is filled with resentment and evil thoughts," he said coldly. "It's time to release them."

From those points, black energy emerged from the ground, forming new monsters throughout the village. Each creature was born filled with hatred, ready to obey Kaito's orders.

"Follow the same orders," Kaito said, without looking back.

The monsters began to move, unleashing absolute chaos. The village became a hell of fire, blood and screams of agony.

Kaito continued walking, his gaze fixed in one direction.

"Wizard Association, Goyo clan, Zenin clan, all clans…" he muttered in a firm voice. "You will be destroyed by my hand. Prepare yourselves."

Without looking back, Kaito left the village, leaving behind a landscape of flames and destruction, accompanied by the heartbreaking screams of those left behind.

Time passed, and day after day the surrounding villages were reduced to ashes. However, amidst the devastation, the sorcerers began to rise. With their skills, they bravely fought against the creatures that have since become known as curses, monsters born of darkness and resentment.

But there was a force among the curses that no skill could stop. A being, similar to a human, that stood as the pinnacle of destruction. He was called the God of Curses, an entity that sowed death and chaos in his wake. His power was so immense that not even the most experienced sorcerers could stand against him.

The sorcerer clans succumbed to him without a chance of resistance. Those who survived took refuge under the leadership of the Sorcery Association, a group that managed to survive thanks to the support of the Goyo clan and the Zenin clan. These two great families joined forces, leaving behind ancient rivalries, in the hope of stopping the curses and restoring peace.

On a vast snow-covered plain, a great battle was fought between the two sides: the sorcerers and the curses. The landscape was covered in blood, screams and explosions of magical power, but in the end, the balance tipped in favor of the curses. Defeat forced the clans to retreat, their forces decimated, while the curses advanced mercilessly.

The Sorcery Association became the last bastion of hope. But even this refuge was attacked by the supreme entity, the being called the God of Curses. His arrival marked the beginning of a new level of destruction, and the fate of the sorcerers seemed sealed under the shadow of his unstoppable power.

At this moment, Kaito can be seen calmly climbing a long stone staircase that leads to the top of a towering mountain. In his right hand he holds a large katana, its black blade reflecting the faint light of the sunset, while the hilt, adorned with golden details, seems to shine like an omen of death. Fresh blood drips from the blade of the katana, leaving a scarlet trail behind each step. His clothes, torn and stained with blood, are a testament to the countless fights he has fought.

Silence reigned on the mountain, broken only by the crunch of snow under Kaito's feet. His gaze remained fixed ahead, indifferent to everything around him.

Suddenly, from the top of the mountain, three sorcerers leaped forth, their faces filled with determination as they descended upon Kaito with weapons and spells ready to attack him.

However, Kaito showed no surprise or fear. With a single, swift, precise swing of his katana, the three sorcerers were cut in two, their bodies falling to the ground in pieces as blood sprayed through the air and stained the snow.

Kaito paused for a moment, looking at the lifeless bodies around him. Then, without saying a word, he lightly shook his katana, letting the dripping blood fall from the blade, and continued his ascent, advancing like an unstoppable shadow towards his destination.

After a long journey, Kaito finally reached the top of the mountain. Before him lay a vast complex, made up of multiple large houses surrounding an immense central courtyard. At the heart of the place stood an imposing ceremonial mansion, its majestic architecture commanding respect.

Kaito paused for a moment to take in his surroundings. In the courtyard, a crowd of sorcerers waited in formation, their faces drawn with tension and determination. Further up, at the top of the stairs leading to the ceremonial hall, stood several figures. Kaito recognized three of them instantly, and his gaze hardened as it rested on them.

One of the men in front, an old man with white hair and a solemn bearing, raised his voice:

—So you are the creator of those monsters. The cursed god. The first curse. Tell me, why do you attack humans?

Kaito remained silent, his cold, piercing gaze was enough to make some sorcerers back away, but the old man stood firm.

"Hmmm…" the old man continued. "I'll introduce myself. I'm the leader of the Sorcerer's Association."

Kaito looked at him with disdain and, with an icy, deep voice, asked:

—Tell me, old man, how long have you been in that position?

The tone of his voice was as sharp as his katana, and those present couldn't help but gulp.

The old man replied calmly:

—I've been in this position… for sixty years.

Kaito nodded slowly and, after a brief silence, muttered:

—I see… Sixty years. So it was you… the one who made all this happen.

Kaito's words made the old man narrow his eyes.

"I don't know what you're talking about," he replied, showing no emotion.

Kaito shifted his gaze to the people behind the old man. Among them, a black-haired woman with a youthful appearance that did not reflect her forty-plus years caught his attention.

"Tell me, Misaki Kagyo, why haven't you done anything?" Kaito asked, his tone heavy with reproach.

The woman, upon hearing her name, lowered her gaze in obvious pain and replied in a whisper:

—Kaito… So it's you. You've changed so much that I almost didn't recognize you… I thought you were dead.

Kaito looked over his sister's figure, stopping at her impeccable clothes and well-groomed appearance.

"I see that they've treated you well," he said bitterly. "It hurts, you know? It hurts to see that you're fine... and that you don't even remember your family."

Misaki tried to respond, but the words stuck in her throat. She could only lower her head, unable to meet Kaito's gaze.

The sorcerers around him remained silent, stunned by the revelations of the being before them.

Suddenly, another man spoke. It was Sorata Goyo, who was standing beside Misaki. His white hair was tied into a ponytail, and his voice echoed with a mix of contempt and curiosity:

—So it's you, that child left behind in that village. You've become something... truly horrendous.

Kaito turned his attention to him, his gaze filled with suppressed anger.

"You killed my father. And he…" she said, pointing at the man beside Sorata, a large man with a huge sword on his back. "He killed my brothers."

The pointed man, Shigure Zenin, remained silent, but his eyes reflected caution.

The air grew heavier as tension grew between the two sides. Kaito tightened his grip on the hilt of his katana, and the darkness around him seemed to spread, pulsing with an ominous energy, ready to consume everything in its path.

Kaito broke the silence with a cold, reproachful voice:

—Tell me, sister… why are you with them? What are you doing?

Misaki, not responding immediately, held the katana tightly on her hip, avoiding his gaze.

Kaito stared at her intently, then his eyes swept over the sorcerers in front of him. One by one, his piercing gaze scanned them, until he spoke again:

—I can feel my blood on them… So you moved on in the end, hmm? It's painful, sister.

Misaki opened her eyes in surprise. Her gaze lowered towards the sorcerers at the foot of the stairs and stopped at a group of young men with white hair and black eyes. Recognizing them, her expression changed.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, his tone fluctuating between fear and reprimand.

The young men looked at her in silence, without answering. Then, with a quick burst of speed, they jumped to where she was, ignoring the gravity of the situation. Misaki, visibly worried, began to scold them, her tone full of frustration.

—I told you not to come! This place is too dangerous. Why did you disobey my orders?!

Sorata Goyo, who was nearby, joined the discussion with a more relaxed, but also protective attitude.

Kaito watched the scene in silence, his dark thoughts bubbling beneath the surface. Finally, he bowed his head and muttered to himself:

"I see, sister… You found another path, one that isn't revenge. That's good. But why with them?" Her voice grew bitter as she continued. "I wouldn't have cared if you had moved on with someone else, but with them… They took everything from us."

Kaito looked down, and something inside him began to crack. A growing rage poured out of him like an unstoppable torrent, darkening the air around him.

Suddenly, an intense killing intent emanated from him, enveloping the entire place. The sorcerers, sensing the overwhelming energy, instinctively retreated, their faces pale with fear. Misaki and Sorata, sensing the danger, positioned themselves in front of the youths, protecting them like a human shield.

Kaito slowly raised his head. His eyes shone with a mixture of fury and determination. His voice echoed like thunder on the mountaintop:

—I will not allow any more of the Kagyo clan's contaminated blood to remain in this world.

The darkness around him seemed to intensify, as if responding to his hatred. At that moment, the confrontation between Kaito and the sorcerers reached a point of no return.

At that moment, all the sorcerers were on guard as they saw Kaito begin to walk slowly towards his sister. Every step he took seemed to fill the atmosphere with an almost unbearable tension.

The sorcerers, though surprised by Kaito's overwhelming presence, were filled with determination and decided to attack. One after another, they unsheathed their katanas and unleashed their techniques, launching a coordinated assault against him.

Time seemed to stand still. Every movement of the sorcerers, every strike thrown, slowed as Kaito stood unfazed. Then, behind him, ripples began to form in space, as if the air itself was being torn and distorted. The golden waves expanded, pulsating with imposing energy.

Kaito stepped forward, and in that instant, everything changed. At superhuman speed, a shower of weapons erupted from the ripples of space. Swords, spears, daggers, and other ethereal weapons tore through the air with deadly precision, striking the mages with devastating force.

Chaos broke out in the blink of an eye. Weapons tore through the sorcerers, piercing their bodies mercilessly. The speed was so overwhelming that even for those trained in combat, everything seemed to happen in slow motion. Screams of pain and surprise mixed with the sound of weapons breaking flesh and bone.

When the last weapon had served its purpose, the golden ripples in space disappeared as if they had never existed. Everything returned to normal, but the ground was stained with blood, and the bodies of the sorcerers lay motionless, scattered about the place.

Kaito remained silent, his gaze cold and emotionless. His footsteps echoed calmly as he advanced, relentless, towards his sister.

The weapons embedded in the mages' bodies slowly began to fade away, turning into golden dust that floated in the air before disappearing. As Kaito continued walking, the only people left untouched were those at the top of the stairs, staring at him with wide eyes in disbelief at the massacre they had just witnessed.

Misaki drew his katana firmly, pointing it directly at his brother.

Kaito noticed the gesture and stopped, his eyes shining with a mixture of contempt and pain. He spoke in a firm, cold voice:

—So now you point your sword at me, sister? What a disgrace... Tell me, have you been brainwashed?

Misaki, without hesitation, replied:

—I won't let you hurt them.

Kaito let out a low, mirthless laugh before replying:

—I see... You will protect them. Tell me, what are they? Children? Your grandchildren? They are young. That just means they have parents...

Without waiting for a response, Kaito moved forward again, his presence becoming more overwhelming.

Suddenly, Sorata unsheathed his katana and appeared beside Kaito, launching an attack with all his strength.

The impact resounded like a deafening thunder:

—B UMMM!

The earth shook violently beneath them, and deep cracks opened in the mountain. Kaito stopped the attack with his katana, and

glancing at Sorata without showing the slightest effort. Then, with a quick movement, she disappeared and reappeared at his side.

With a powerful kick, Kaito sent him flying as if he were nothing more than a rag doll. Sorata flew until he hit the opposite mountain, causing another monumental rumble:

—BOOM!

The top of the mountain partially collapsed from the impact, scattering rocks and dust everywhere.

Kaito slowly lowered his leg and, without looking back, said disdainfully:

—Don't get in the way. It's not your turn yet.

Then he continued on his way.

Misaki watched what happened, her eyes wide, unable to hide her shock. She gripped the hilt of her katana tightly, preparing to face her brother as he slowly approached.

Suddenly, a voice resounded from the sky:

—Dimensional cut!

A tremendous blast of energy came down from above, cutting the mountain in two as if it were made of paper.

—BOOM!

The ground shook, and a thick cloud of dust enveloped the mountaintop. As the dust began to clear, Kaito slowly walked out, unharmed, taking a few steps back as his gaze locked on Sorata, who was now floating in the air in front of him.

Kaito narrowed his eyes and spoke coldly:

—I thought I hit you... Hmm, looks like I hit something else.

Without another word, Kaito flexed his legs slightly. In an instant, he disappeared from his position and reappeared in the air, right in front of Sorata, moving at a speed impossible to follow.

With his katana in hand, Kaito attacked Sorata with force, causing a deafening roar:

—BOOM!

However, as he tried to slash, his katana stopped in mid-air. Something invisible was blocking it.

Kaito narrowed his eyes, stepping back slightly. He stared intently at the barrier surrounding Sorata.

—So this is your ability… I see, it's a total nuisance —he said coldly.

Before he could continue, Sorata appeared beside Kaito with lightning speed, brandishing his katana in a direct attack. Kaito reacted immediately, blocking the blow with his own sword.

Thus began a frantic fight, with both exchanging attacks at such a high speed that the movements were almost imperceptible to the human eye. Their silhouettes appeared and disappeared all over the air, like flashes of light in a storm.

The fighting descended to the ground, where the impacts of their attacks began to devastate everything around them. Houses on the mountaintop were destroyed one after another, reduced to rubble in a matter of seconds.

Suddenly, Shigure Zenin, the man of the Heavenly Restriction, joined the fight. With his greatsword unsheathed, he launched a powerful attack that resounded like thunder.

The battle on the ground intensified even further. The three warriors moved so fast that they were barely visible, their weapons clashing and releasing waves of energy that shook the entire mountain. Each blow resonated loudly, and the ground began to give way beneath them.

Finally, a massive crash in the center of the mountain caused a massive explosion:

—BOOOOOOOOOOO!

The mountaintop was completely destroyed, and the mansions surrounding it crumbled to dust. Cracks in the earth spread like roots, and rock fragments fell down the slopes in cascades of debris.

Meanwhile, Misaki, aware of the danger, took her descendants and began to lead them up the opposite side of the mountain. The elders of the Sorcerer's Association followed her, running as fast as their bodies would allow.

However, Kaito noticed their attempt to escape. With an incredible leap, he appeared floating in the air, his silhouette framed by the clouds of dust and destruction.

With a voice that resounded like thunder, he declared:

—No one will escape from this place!

Golden waves began to spread out from it, filling the sky like a mosaic of light. From these waves emerged countless weapons: swords, spears, hammers, and other tools of war. But some were different. Some glowed with fire, others were charged with water, earth, and wind, each emitting a devastating elemental aura.

Kaito raised his right arm, and the weapons pointed towards the ground.

—I will destroy everything that is left of you.

With a swift movement, he brought his arm down, and all the weapons fell to the ground, raining down destruction. Explosions rocked the mountain, obliterating what little remained standing. Each impact released an elemental wave that consumed everything in its path.

Chaos broke out, and hope seemed to fade away completely under Kaito's relentless attack.

He watched as a huge cloud of dust rose up, obscuring the view of what remained of the summit. He remained silent for a few moments, contemplating his work, before moving his hand in a simple but authoritative gesture.

The dust immediately cleared, revealing a devastating scene: lifeless bodies lay everywhere, while the remains of buildings were scattered like useless rubble. Only one figure remained standing among the dead: the elderly leader of the Sorcerer's Association.

The old man's body was pierced by several swords, each one embedded deep into his flesh. Despite this, he still stood, staggering slightly. With eyes filled with rage and contempt, he glared at Kaito.

—Damn monster… —said the old man, spitting blood.

Kaito appeared in front of him in the blink of an eye. His cold gaze locked onto the old man's as he spoke in an icy voice:

—You're the one who started it all.

The old man let out a bitter and sarcastic laugh, showing a blood-stained smile.

—Fuck you, you stupid damn curse —he snapped—. Your parents were nothing but a nuisance to the wizards… Hahahaha!

Without changing his expression, Kaito raised a hand and, with a simple movement, the old man's body exploded into a thousand pieces, leaving only a stain of blood on the ground.

Kaito remained silent for a moment, looking at the corpses of the other elders lying inert.

—The others escaped… —he muttered.

Concentrating, he closed his eyes for a moment. When he opened them, his gaze took on a penetrating gleam.

—Sorata. He used some instant transportation ability… He took Misaki and her descendants.

Kaito turned slowly, looking at the horizon. His expression reflected a mixture of anger and determination.

"That guy from the Zenin clan also ran away…" he said in a low voice, as if talking to himself . "That guy has no energy, I can't track him. How annoying."

He walked a few steps before stopping again. A light smile filled with intent appeared on his face.

—But I can feel my blood… in that direction.

His gaze was fixed on a distant point, as if he were seeing across mountains and valleys.

—It is possible that the Zenin clan is there. Interesting. It seems that place will be the final battlefield.

Kaito turned around, and as he began to walk, his voice echoed with a mix of expectation and threat:

—I will gather all the curses. That place will witness our victory… It is time to begin.

Kaito began to walk in that direction, his steps slow and carefree, as if nothing else mattered. Behind him, from the shadows of the rubble, curses began to emerge. One after another, grotesque and dark creatures appeared, attracted by his presence. At first they were few, but with each step Kaito took, their number increased. The curses followed him silently, like a dark and growing army, ready to do his bidding.

There were more and more of them. The earth itself seemed to darken under their march, and an oppressive aura enveloped the landscape, announcing the coming of destruction.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, a camp full of tents stretched across a valley. There were hundreds of sorcerers and civilians there, refugees seeking protection from the impending threat.

Suddenly, in a blinding flash, Misaki and Sorata along with their descendant appeared in the center of the camp. Both were badly wounded, with swords embedded in their bodies, though none in vital spots. Those present stopped, surprised by their sudden arrival.

Quickly, a group of sorcerers rushed towards them, helping them stand up and beginning to treat their wounds. Sorata, his face still covered in sweat and blood, raised a hand to stop any words of comfort or unnecessary questions.

"He's coming!" he exclaimed in a firm but urgent voice. "Prepare for battle. He'll be here in a few days."

The words echoed like thunder among those present. A fear-filled silence fell over the place, but it was quickly replaced by the sound of movement. Wizards and civilians began running in all directions, preparing weapons, strengthening barriers, and gathering resources. The news spread like wildfire, and the tension in the air grew as everyone understood the magnitude of what was to come.

Meanwhile, Misaki, with the help of some sorcerers, was trying to stay on her feet. Her gaze shifted to the descendants they had managed to rescue. Her breathing was heavy, but a spark of determination shone in her eyes.

Sorata, despite the pain, addressed the camp leaders.

—We don't have much time. Kaito is coming with an army… It's not like anything you've seen before.

The entire camp was now in motion. They knew that the final battle was near, and no one could afford to make a mistake.

Sorata, despite his injuries, stood up as best he could and approached the descendants he had managed to bring with him. Seeing them safe, he let out a sigh of relief, relaxing for a moment. Then, he turned his gaze towards Misaki, who was watching the preparations with a determined expression.

"Misaki," Sorata said, his voice grave, "we have to kill him. It's the only option."

Misaki looked at him, her eyes reflecting both pain and resolve.

—You know that even if he dies, the curses might not go away... But if we don't, all of our children and grandchildren will die.

Sorata nodded, understanding the harsh truth of her words.

—Prepare for battle. This time, all the strongest sorcerers will be involved. We cannot afford to fail.

Misaki nodded silently, tightening the grip on her katana as she looked around. The camp was quickly transforming into a makeshift fortress, with magical barriers and soldiers preparing for what was to come.

Elsewhere, Kaito continued to walk, and behind him followed ten figures. Each had a unique form, with shapes somewhere between human and animal, but they all emanated a terrifying presence. The curses that followed him seemed to be the most powerful of his army, and their loyalty to Kaito was absolute.

Kaito paused for a moment. He pulled out a small blade from a spatial ripple, lightly cutting his index finger. A drop of blood flowed out, bright and charged with energy.

"Listen carefully," Kaito said, his voice cold and authoritative. "I want you to go first. Be stealthy, infiltrate the camp, and kill all those who resonate with this blood."

The ten beings nodded in unison, their eyes shining with a mixture of obedience and bloodlust.

"Understood, Creator-sama," they replied in unison, their voices echoing in the darkness.

Kaito dropped the drop of blood into a small crystal sphere that one of the beings was holding. The sphere glowed brightly before fading, and the ten of them disappeared in a blink, like shadows devoured by the night.

Kaito stared at the spot where they had been for a moment, his expression impassive, and then continued on his way, followed by the rest of his army of curses. The war was getting closer.

After a few days, Kaito was walking through the snow, moving through the trees, closely followed by his curses. His steps were firm and steady, leaving a barely visible trail in the white layer that covered the ground. After a few more steps, he emerged from between the trees, finding himself in a vast valley.

On the other side of the valley, hundreds of people were gathered, forming an army ready for battle. Kaito stopped walking for a moment and scanned the other side with his piercing gaze. Among the crowd, two figures stood out, staring at him with hatred and rage: they were Misaki and Sorata.

Recognizing them, Kaito thought: It seems they have accomplished their mission. I no longer feel my blood in this place... Only Misaki's blood remains.

Without another word, Kaito resumed his march. There was no need to say anything; both sides knew that this was the end. This was the place where everything would be decided.

As Kaito took a few more steps, he raised a hand and then calmly lowered it. In response, the curses following him began to advance, slowly at first, then speeding up until they were furiously racing towards the other side of the valley.

The sorcerers, seeing the approaching tide of darkness, shouted their orders and rushed forward, ready to engage the enemy. A clash between the two sides was imminent.

Kaito continued walking unhurriedly, observing the chaos that was beginning to unfold. As he advanced, his thoughts were filled with a curious dilemma: Should I use all my power at once...? They deserve it, after all.

He paused, looking up at the sky for a brief moment, and muttered:

—It doesn't matter... I'll go all out.

Suddenly, a wave of distortion appeared in the space in front of him. From that ripple, Kaito pulled out a peculiar object. It was something that looked like a hilt, but instead of a blade it had a strange, ornate key.

Kaito turned the key slowly, as if he were opening an invisible lock. At that moment, the air around him changed. The energy of the place immediately transformed, becoming denser and more oppressive, while the sky itself began to warp.

Something extraordinary descended from above: lines of luminous energy emerged from nowhere, tracing an intricate network that looked like a gigantic web. These lines extended across the sky and the ground, connecting invisible points and generating a structure that gave the impression of uniting the very fabric of space.

Kaito stared at the net calmly, his gaze filled with determination. In a firm, solemn voice, he proclaimed:

—Awake, Ea, the sword that divides heaven and earth.

At that instant, the space holding the key shattered like shattering glass. A blinding flash illuminated the valley, and the void closed once more. When the light faded, a towering sword rested in Kaito's hand.

The weapon looked like a miracle made into matter. Its blade was made up of segments that spun and vibrated with a primal energy, emitting a red and gold glow that intensified at its core. Each fragment of its structure radiated overwhelming power, a force capable of tearing reality itself apart and splitting it into its most basic components.

Kaito held the sword firmly, his posture imposing as his gaze remained fixed on the army waiting for him on the other side of the valley.

At the front of the army of sorcerers, their leaders watched in amazement at what they had just witnessed. The appearance of the sword and the heavenly net left them momentarily bewildered, but they did not allow fear to take hold of them.

One of them, a man in a red cloak fluttering in the wind, raised his staff and shouted determinedly:

—Don't back down! For our children, for the future!

In unison, the sorcerers let out a war cry and advanced with even greater force towards the battlefield. Their movements were swift and coordinated, as the first magical explosions lit up the air with flashes of light and waves of energy.

Kaito took several quick steps before accelerating into a direct dash towards the mages. With a towering leap, he raised his sword and swung it forcefully.

The sword Ea began to spin its cylinders, releasing a flurry of red energy blades that spread out like a devastating torrent. The sorcerers who stood in its path were swept away, causing a booming sound!

However, Sorata appeared at the front of the army of sorcerers. With a swift swing of his sword, he firmly declared:

—Dimensional cut!

The attack sliced through the air with precision, splitting several curses in a single blow. The creatures instantly disintegrated, momentarily matching the chaos Kaito had caused on the battlefield.

From across the field, a member of the Zenin clan clasped his hands together and exclaimed:

—I summon you, spirit of the moon!

Out of nowhere, a gigantic silver wolf appeared, covering almost the entire mountain with its immense size. The creature began to tear apart curses with ferocity, knocking them down as if they were mere insects.

The wolf launched a direct attack towards Kaito, but the Ea sword spun again, generating a whirlwind of energy that disintegrated the wolf's attack as if it were nothing. With a quick swing of his sword, Kaito destroyed the wolf completely, making it disappear in an explosion of silver energy.

At that moment, the red-cloaked sorcerer appeared in front of Kaito, throwing his spear with all his might. However, the spear was easily repelled by Ea, as if it had collided with an impenetrable barrier. The force of the impact threw the sorcerer to the ground, knocking him unconscious as chaos continued on the battlefield.

The battle erupted in full fury. Chaos took over the battlefield as Kaito faced off against the strongest sorcerers. Energy explosions, war cries, and the clash of weapons resonated across the valley like an endless echo of destruction.

Misaki, at the center of the battle, summoned a massive tornado that spun with devastating force, sweeping away curses in its wake. With precise movements, he directed the vortex toward Kaito, forcing him to dodge as he fought off the attacks coming from all sides.

Sorata, meanwhile, used his "Dimensional Cut" ability, opening fissures in the air that split curses and fragments of the ground in two. Beside him, other sorcerers deployed their most powerful techniques in a relentless assault against Kaito.

The fight lasted for hours, with both sides fighting beyond their limits. Kaito, though suffering from serious injuries, regenerated limbs with superhuman speed, as if the destruction of his body was only a temporary obstacle.

Finally, the climax came when Kaito, soaring into the sky, raised the Ea sword . From above, he gathered an immense amount of energy at the tip of the blade, generating a blinding glow that illuminated the sky and the battlefield.

"Enuma Elish!" he exclaimed in a thunderous voice.

A massive beam of energy shot out from his sword, descending like a column of pure devastation.

—BOO ...

The attack swept away everything in its path, leaving a colossal crater where the battlefield had once been. The earth shook violently, and a deafening rumble marked the end of the attack. As the dust and rubble began to settle, the scene was bleak: curses and sorcerers alike lay dead, their lifeless bodies scattered across the scorched ground.

Despite the magnitude of the attack, the strongest managed to survive. Kaito slowly descended into the crater, where his enemies still standing were struggling to their feet, determined to continue fighting.

The battle had reached its climax. Kaito, covered in deep wounds, held his sword as he pierced Sorata's body. In his other hand, he grabbed his unconscious sister's hair. His chest had a hole where blood flowed endlessly, but he stood firm.

With a sharp movement, Kaito withdrew his sword from Sorata's body. The blade, pulsating with destructive energy, rose before delivering a final blow that made Sorata's body explode into a sea of blood.

Kaito turned to his sister, letting go of her. Her body fell to the ground, limp. He watched her with a mix of sadness and resignation. A single tear rolled down his face before he raised his sword one last time. Without hesitation, he plunged it into his own heart, ending everything.

The fight was finally over. The sword, Ea , began to disintegrate into golden dust, dissipating in the wind. Kaito bent down and lifted his sister into his arms. Without looking back, he began to walk slowly through the snow.

Days later…

Kaito arrived at a once familiar place: the Kagyo clan estate. With hesitant steps, he entered the grounds and carefully placed his sister's body to the side. With a wave of his hand, he moved the earth, revealing several graves hidden beneath the ground.

He placed his sister's body in one of the graves, and with another movement, he made small remains appear that he had recovered on his journey. He deposited them in the other graves, completing his task. Then he covered them again with earth, leaving the place in solemn silence.

In front of the graves, Kaito fell to his knees. His body, at its limit, trembled with exhaustion. Although he still had energy left, he chose not to use it to heal. He looked at the graves and spoke in a voice full of melancholy:

—My family… they're all finally together at home. I only got a few scraps, but… it's more than I could ask for.

Kaito let out a deep sigh and continued:

—My power is running out. Ever since I emerged from that scream… my body was at its limit. Battles, one after another, have pushed it beyond what it could bear. Even if I healed him, eventually… he would die.

With effort, Kaito stood up. Behind him, ten figures emerged from nowhere, watching him silently before disappearing again into the shadow of their creator. Kaito raised his arms and declared in a voice that echoed throughout the valley:

—I curse these lands with despair. The world will know the curses.

Kaito's energy rose in golden, red, and black spirals that rose into the sky, crashing into the clouds and spreading out like a divine storm. At that moment, Kaito took out a shining ring, placed it on his finger, and his figure faded away. Only the ring fell to the ground, emitting a wave of golden energy that spread across the country.

When silence returned, a mysterious figure appeared out of nowhere. He carefully picked up the ring and, without saying a word, disappeared as quickly as he had arrived.

Thus, the lands were cursed.

And with that, the first curse was released, marking the end of the "cursed god."
