It had been a few days since Kurapika, Prosciutto, Pesci and Formaggio had joined Risotto and everyone else. Risotto brought them all up to speed. He told them about the game maps, which ones might be useful, the specifics of surviving in the game, what locations they had managed to discover, and many other things. But most importantly, Risotto told them that they were being hunted by Stand users, about the anomaly from which they appeared, and also shared his assumptions and plan of action. When Kurapika told everyone that he had encountered and defeated a Stand user, it surprised everyone a bit.

At this moment, Kurapika and Risotto were on the streets of Masadora. They had come here to sell the looted maps, and at the same time for Kurapika to familiarise himself with the city.

- Quite... Unusual. I'd even say a bit druggy,' Kurapika shared his opinion of the city, 'However, as I understand it, this is the only place where you can sell and buy maps. So we'll have to come back here regularly.

- Which, in fact, the others and I have done many times. Speaking of your health... Are you sure you're feeling okay? You passed out suddenly and stayed out until the next morning, and you had a fever.

- Yeah, I don't know why, I wasn't feeling well. But since then, I've been feeling fine again. So everything's fine.

- I can only assume it was because you got caught in that anomaly. Another possibility is that you were exhausted from the battle with that Stand user you told me about. And I have to say, you surprised me with that. A man without a Stand defeating a Stand user... That's powerful. You showed your skill and ingenuity. It's really rare.

- Thank you. There were other factors, of course, but in general.

Suddenly, a voice came from behind Kurapiki and Risotto:

- Holy shit!!! Look Killua, it's them!

Turning around, they saw Gon and Killua a few metres away from them. At first the boys were incredibly happy and surprised to see their old acquaintances, but after a couple of seconds the joyful surprise changed to horrified surprise. When they saw how Kurapika had changed, they were shocked.

- Kurapika, what's wrong with you?! - Shouted Gon who ran up to him, -You... It's a patch... Is your eye...?

- Yes, it is. I really lost my eye. - Kurapika answered him calmly.

- But how did that happen? - Asked Killua, who was a little more calm than Gon.

- How come... Hm... Remember back in Yorkshin, when we met in the café, I told you that I was on a very serious case with Risotto? - They nodded silently, - Well, it turned out to be much more serious than I thought.

- That serious? - Gon was surprised, but what exactly happened?

- What happened? - Kurapika looked at Risotto, as if silently asking for permission to elaborate.

- Don't say too much,'' Risotto told him, ``You can go out with them. I'll go for a walk on my own and scout the area.

- I hear you.

Risotto headed towards the exit of the town, and Kurapika went for a walk with Gon and Killua.

Risotto's POV

Over an hour had passed since Risotto had left the city. At the moment he was leisurely wandering around the canyon, kicking rocks now and then, watching lizards, that sort of thing. Generally speaking, he didn't have much to do.

'Yeah, well... It seems like you should be happy when you meet old friends. I'd be happy if it weren't for the current situation. Eh Kurapika... I hope you understand what I meant by telling you not to say too much. Though what am I talking about... You'd know that without saying anything. We can't involve outsiders in this anymore. When I asked you to join us, I had no idea how this would turn out. And Gon and Killua are just boys who have no idea what our world is like, and who should never be dragged into this. It's hard to imagine an adventure more dangerous than this.'

Once again looking around the empty canyon Risotto noticed a dark figure a few hundred metres away, at the top of one of the steep slopes, who was clearly watching him.

'Who is it? An enemy? Hmm, it probably is. I wouldn't be surprised if it's another Stand user. Well... In that case, we should fight him right now. Better to eliminate him right here than wait for him to get to us. I know where the enemy is located, and that's an advantage.'

***

Risotto slowly but surely climbed up the slope where the enemy had been spotted, using the iron in the rocks of the slope he had used to create his own tools.

'Damn, life isn't easy for climbers... I'm surprised I haven't been attacked yet. This is a good moment to attack me or just throw me down, but it still hasn't happened. Does the enemy want to face me? Quite possibly. But now I know it's a Stand user. Already from here I can feel that very aura.'

Nearly falling down twice, losing his knife, but Risotto made one last dash and finally climbed up and stood on his feet.

- Phew, finally...' he said aloud with relief.

He looked around and saw a man about fifteen metres away with his back turned to him. Because of the position of the sun, the light was falling in such a way that it was difficult to see the man properly.

- Hey you, turn towards me. I want to get a good look at you. - Risotto turned to his possible opponent.

- I've only seen you once, but you haven't changed much since then. At least in appearance. Except...

- That voice... It can't be!...

The man turned his face and came a little closer, and now Risotto could see him clearly. And what Risotto saw in front of him was the person he least expected to see.

He was a man of medium height and slim build. He had black hair with a bob cut. He wore an all-white suit covered in small black drop-crotch patterns and a heart-shaped cutout on his chest, and zips in various places.

- Except that you're quite whole now, unlike last time, when you were shredded and riddled with bullets. - The man finished his sentence.

- That's who I didn't expect to see... Here we are face to face, Buccellati!

Bruno Buccellati is one of the Caporegime Passione. One of those whom Risotto wanted to kill to avenge his comrades when he was still in the last world. And now, this very man stands before him, waiting for the moment to begin the fight. At first Risotto was furious, but he quickly calmed down. After all, to fight such an enemy one must maintain a truly inhuman composure, something Risotto understood perfectly well.

'Buccellati... I never thought fate would bring me together with him. One must be as careful as possible. He's a very dangerous opponent.'

It's hard to convey the tension in the air at this moment. Both Risotto and Buccellati were well aware of the danger, and therefore chose the moment to attack very carefully.

Risotto was the first to begin. He formed a pile of scalpels from the iron in the ground, which immediately flew at great speed at Buccellati. The latter, however, created several clasps on the ground, after which he detached several pieces of earth, threw them into the air, and thus closed himself off from most of the scalpels, and repelled the remainder with his Stand. He was about to rush to attack Risotto, but the latter had already become invisible.

At this time Risotto slowly, with extreme caution, went behind Buccellati's back.

'We need to get close, but not too close, so we don't get within attack range of his Stand. According to the information I once received, his Stand is a short-range Stand. Its attack radius is about 2-3 metres, which speaks to its physical strength and speed. For your own safety, you shouldn't get within five metres of him.'

Going behind his back Risotto came within five metres of Buccellati and concentrated on converting the iron in his blood into blades.

- That's pretty good,' Buccellati said, 'Creating blades inside my body. In my throat, not my heart or my head. You want to torture me. You're a sadist.

Using his Stand Buccellati created clasps on his chest, and unbuttoning them pulled the blades out of his body, which were almost to his throat.

'Oh, shit! You can't take him that easily.'

- Agree Risotto Nero... My Sticky Fingers counteracts your ability pretty well.

In the next second, Buccellati created a clasp on the ground and undid it and went under.

'Damn!' he went underground. There's too much iron underground, so I won't be able to feel him. But how is he going to find me if I'm invisible?'

Suddenly, four metres away, Risotto heard, and then saw, a clasp being created on the ground.

'He's going to attack me from here? How reckless!'

Risotto immediately got ready to attack, however, it wasn't Buccellati that came out of that clasp, but a bunch of blades that Risotto had previously created in his body. When he realised this, the blades drew towards him and gave away his location.

- There you are! - A voice sounded right under his feet.

When Risotto looked under his feet, Buccellati had already emerged from the ground and delivered a single blow directly to his stomach. From this blow a buckle appeared on Risotto's stomach, which immediately unbuckled half of his stomach. Naturally, he couldn't stand on his feet after such a thing and collapsed to the ground while coming out of invisibility.

'Shit.... He got me. However, I shouldn't have expected anything else from Buccellati.'

Buccellati at this time had fully emerged from the ground and stood a couple of metres away from Risotto. He looked at him with a slightly contemptuous look.

- You're not a very nice man,' he said, 'But I've seen worse. But you deserve no pity. Not only are you a murderer, but you wanted to overthrow the boss of Passione in order to take over the drug trade.

- Ha... And you yourself... Didn't want that... - Risotto said with difficulty.

- Yes, I wanted to overthrow our boss too. But I wanted to do it to rid the country of drugs. I've seen enough... I've seen kids die in the alley from overdoses. I've seen them commit crimes to find money for a quick fix. Not just adults, but kids, you know! I think you've seen it too. But I bet you still wanted to take over the business for your own gain. You're a rotten man, Risotto Nero....

- Enough! - Risotto interrupted him, - I've heard enough. He-heh... Funny... You say you wanted to destroy drug trafficking? Tell Buccellati, what fairy tale are you living in?

- What?

- Nothing. He wanted to destroy drug trafficking... You think you're a saint? Well, listen to me, you fucking saint, - Risotto connected the unbuttoned stomach with iron threads, and then, though with difficulty, but stood on his feet, - What I just heard is mostly the ravings of a madman. Do you know how much money drugs make? The point is, drug trafficking is the backbone of the Mafia. If you wipe out drug trafficking completely, it's a serious blow to the Mafia. What about the Mafia's other activities and sources of income? Do you know about them? Do you know that they also bring in a lot of money, and that they are also mostly illegal and can get people in trouble? Do you know that if you liquidate these enterprises too, the mafia will collapse to hell! The mafia is in itself something illegal, and it can't exist without it. Is that what you want? Destroy the Mafia? Although, yes, selling drugs to children is really not a good thing. But as far as regular adults are concerned, that's their choice. It's their choice. Unlike kids, they're more intelligent and have lived longer, and yet they still snoop. That says something, doesn't it? Oh, and another thing... You called me a murderer when you're not much better. You're a gangster, just like me. You've committed a lot of murders too. You've ruthlessly slaughtered my men, and those you've been told to slaughter by higher-ups. So you're not much better at this than I am. And another thing... Do you have any idea how we lived? I know how you lived with your crew, Buccellati. You were paid a lot of money. You and your guys had a nice place to live, and you could go out to eat regularly. But do you have any idea how we lived?! We made pennies. We weren't allowed to own any land. We weren't even considered human beings! If you were in the same situation as us, you'd do the same. You don't know anything about us. You don't know how much it hurt me to lose my comrades... That's why I tell Buccellati that you live in a fairy tale. You and I are alike... But we are also very different. I hope you understood what I wanted to tell you....

After listening to Risotto's speech Buccellati was a little surprised. It was evident in his gaze.

- You surprised me, Risotto Nero... Interesting speech... But that doesn't change the fact that we are quite different and I have to destroy you!

Buccellati prepared to attack, but Risotto immediately used invisibility and started to move away.

- You won't! I'm done with you!

Buccellati detached his arm from his body and threw it towards Risotto, who didn't get far enough away and so the arm hit him right in the face. This knocked Risotto out of invisibility and disorientated him. Buccellati then quickly ran up to him and started throwing a hail of punches.

- ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI ARI Arividerchi! - Sticky Fingers shouted his battle cry along with Buccellati, and with a final blow he unbuckled Risotto.

Risotto, undone into many pieces, fell down the slope behind him.

- You may have been a murderer, Risotto Nero, but I must still admit that you were an excellent leader. There are very few men like you.

Buccellati turned and was about to leave when suddenly he heard a voice behind him:

- 'Thank you for the compliment. But you're too early to be happy.

Buccellati turned round and saw Risotto climbing up the peculiar iron steps, which were extended straight out of the steep slope.

- It can't be!... You... - Buccellati was surprised to see Risotto.

Risotto looked like Frankenstein's monster. He had securely connected all his disconnected body parts with iron threads.

- Really... Nice move,' he said with difficulty, 'But you're wrong about something... You're not the one who's done with me... I'm done with you. Metallica!

Suddenly the ground began to shake, as if a small earthquake had started, and in the next second huge, almost three metres high, iron and very sharp stakes sprang out of the ground. Everything within a radius of twenty metres now resembled the back of a porcupine. Unfortunately for Buccellati, he was unable to completely dodge this attack. No vital organs were hit, but several stakes hit his hands, nearly tearing them off. And naturally, none of the stakes touched Risotto, who at this time came a little closer to Buccellati.

- You... It can't be... - Buccellati wanted to say something, but didn't have time, because he felt a pain in his heart.

He wanted to unbutton his chest, but his arms were too badly damaged and he didn't have time to do it as a result of which the needles that Risotto had created inside him pierced his heart.

Buccellati collapsed to the ground and began to die slowly, while looking at Risotto, who came close to him.

- Buccellati,' said Risotto, respect in his voice, 'I told you, of course, that you were living in a fairy tale. And I do not retract those words. However... I want to tell you that you are an excellent leader. If I understand correctly, in the last world you and your team managed to discover the boss's identity and kill him. That's really amazing. You're the best Kapo, and the best leader I've ever met. For that, I really respect you.

After listening to Risotto's speech Buccellati smiled slightly, closed his eyes and took a breath. Risotto, on the other hand, stood silently over his body.

'You are truly amazing, Buccellati... Fighting you was an honour.'

Using his Stand he was able to quickly dig a small and wide depression in the ground, in which he placed Buccellati's body and covered it with stones. After this he silently walked away.

Risotto very seldom showed any respect for his opponents. He is almost always a ruthless and cold-blooded killer who simply kills his victims without further ado. But not showing respect for Buccellati... He thought it was a bit wrong.

Who knows if it was due to the influence of this world, or if he had always been like that deep down... But Risotto showed something that hardly anyone would have expected from him.
