(I'm sorry did he just say that I might be killed then invite me to meet the person who was going to do it!?!?) "Oh well I appreciate the offer sir but I'd rather keep my life thanks... haha." (I'm laughing but this ain't funny, is he crazy!!)

"Ha don't worry it'll be fun plus you would get to meet a few strong people like yourself. Oh and don't worry I was joking he won't hurt you.., he's pretty chill. Just try not to start too much trouble or one of them might actual start a real fight." While saying the last part Vash looked me in the eyes with a rather serious look, he then closed his journal and put his pen down.

"Haha right, no I'm not worried one bit besides I'm pretty damn strong myself, i can handle a few nobodies hehe." (I'm going to fucking die!!!!) 

"That's the spirit, now I have a few things I need to work on before then so if you don't mind." Vash gestured for us to leave as he stood a walked toward the door of the chamber.

We both left after saying our goodbyes, of course while walking to our own rooms my father wanted to check if I was going to be alright, saying it was fine to be nervous. Of course I told him I was fine and that it was no big deal really, but he reassured me anyway letting me know that he would be there with me the whole time. I thanked him and said goodnight but I can't help but think about how little it really mattered, I mean we're going to meet the kings and they'll probably be accompanied by some of their strongest. Dad we're strong but are we really a match for them, you've met them haven't you, do we really stand a chance if all hell breaks lose. I might be overreacting but am I, three other people just as strong as the lord is, in one room, God I hope nothing goes wrong.

There's only one day left until I meet these so called gods, tomorrow is the day I stand in the room with them and I'm not nervous one bit, not anymore. I haven't just been sitting around, I've been out honing my skills and my mind is clearer than ever before. If something does break out I'll be ready, and I'm not holding back. I've trained to slay demons and monsters alike, these people are no different. I can't let my confidence get the better of me here, these people are monsters themselves so I'll have to become an even greater monster. 

(Son I hate to think of what's been going through your mind these last few days. I haven't seen you work this hard in a long time, is the thought of tomorrow really weighing down on you that much. Even after I tried to ease your mind you still take it upon yourself to get stronger.) John thought watching Kye fight beast after beast not giving them time to recuperate . For the past two days he had been fight and hunting beasts a class or two higher than himself trying to push himself past his limits, trying to reach the next stage.

(The ground started rumbling as Kylan began to cut down the last few of the beasts. These beasts were mythic sun wolves, their fangs and claws burning at over 100 degrees, and their eyes shined like stars in the night sky. They moved at inhuman speeds, and their pristine orange fur burned bright and could melt a sword off its hilt. Luckily the forest these sun wolves inhabited had also been changed to withstand the heat. The trees themselves immolated their own heat at night and absorbed the sun's rays during the day to keep the area at a constant temperature.)

(As the rumbling grew deeper a bright light appeared from the edge of the forest, and as soon as it appeared it was gone. The surrounding area grew hotter and the sweat dripping on Kylan's face began to evaporate, the light reappeared again but was only seen for a moment in the corner of his eye. The new beast was the leader of it's pack and had evolved from a mere mythic sun wolf into a transcendent star wolf. This beautiful white wolf has full control over it's unbearable heat and it's eyes were as dark as the night while it's white fur had a cosmic energy emitting from it, causing it to leave trails of what looked like a starry night sky when it moved. The silent stalker could move faster than light and could go from it's bright white form into a pitch black predator hiding in the night.)

(The blinding flash of movement from the wolf stopped as it began to change into it's midnight form, as it dissipated into the darkness Kylan closed his eyes trying to sense where the wolf would appear next. Sensing a disturbance in the air on his right he jumped back narrowly dodging a huge paw slamming into the ground cracking it, he then dashed forward brandishing his sword cutting the wolf's ankle but not without receiving a strike of his own.)

(Kye was sent crash through a trees before stabbing his sword into the ground to stop him from going any further. He could feel that his ribs and left arm were sore but not broken, luckily the he had used a small spatial distortion to redirect the blow before taking it head on. This wasn't his first time fighting something faster than himself, so he had some idea of what to expect from the beast.)

"Damn that hurt, heh guess that means it's boss fight time. Bring it mutt, I won't go down easy.!.!"

(The space around him distorted as his aura was released, his eyes showed a faint purple glow as the aura began to condense around his body forming a barrier that resembled armor.)

(Putting his arm up he grasped the air in front of him, in that instant he appeared in the air slightly above the wolf. His sword became encased in his aura as he brought it down piercing the wolf's hide. Before he could pull his sword back out the wolf vanished leaving him still suspended in the air, blade in hand.)

(The wolf appeared above him and clamped it's fangs around him, the heat building up as it pushed him from the sky toward the ground. It's fangs began emitting a strong heat that began to push them through his armor. Just as the fangs were about to touch his skin he vanished again spinning in the air flipping his sword in an under hand position he slashed vertically cutting its eye.)

(The wolf jumped howling at the pain, it tried to heal the cut but the void energy from the cut stopped its healing property. The void and star affinities worked well together but were complete counters to one another. The wolf landed onto the ground and noticed a feint energy trying to conceal itself in the distance, vanishing it headed toward the energy. Upon reaching the source the wolf found John sitting in a seat with popcorn in his hands as he watched the events unfold from a hill overlooking the forest, John remained in his seat as the wolf drew nearer unfazed. The wolf bared its fangs as it readied its claws which began emit a bright white heat.)

"Now that's just bad luck." As john said this he vanished and stood in his place with a smile on his face.

"Bad move pup." He ducked under its claws and swung at the beast aiming for its neck, just as it made contact it dissipated appearing behind him trying to catch itself from the momentum, a small cut now on its throat. 

Well this is going better than I thought, but I know it's got more to show. It is transcendent after all, Just gotta push it a bit more.

Looking that thing in the eyes I smiled, why, because I'm ready to end this and reach the next class. The energy inside me surged growing ferocious, I began to push it toward my sword as an output. I slashed at the air and a wave of void energy escaped, grasping the air above the wolf I teleported above it. Using the rest of the energy I moved it toward my right leg and a kick to it's spine just as the wolf looked up.

The wolf hit the ground hard losing it's balance, just as the slash was a few meters away the wolf tried to dissappear again.

"Just kidding, why don't you sit tight for me." (The slash elongated and wrapped itself around the wolf as it became more tangible, it slithered as scales started to form. At one end a tail formed, sharper than a blade, and on the other end a maw opened up clamping onto the wolfs snout with it's fangs that were as sharp as the horns on it's head. As the eyes started to form Kylan's eyes shown with power, the creatures eyes were sharp and piercing showing the same glow.)

"You did well son, I'm proud of you.... wait. Somethings not right, I can feel a build-up of energy but it's not Kye. It feels like the wolf but it's more pure.... more... oh no. " I ran as fast as I could trying to reach him, but the battle had carried so far I couldn't pinpoint his location fast enough.

"KYYYYYYYYEEEEEE!!!!!!!" Then it hit, I could feel it, the last strike was taken and a huge explosion of energy erupted. I can see the smoke from here and feel the aftershock as it rushed past me.

I used a portal to get to the area but it was too late....Kye...his heart... was no longer beating.

"Guess that's really all you had, or maybe this isn't how you expected tonight to go." I raised my sword and swung as hard as I could, peircing the wolfs neck. I smiled because I knew this was the last push I needed..., but... for some reason I could hear someone screaming my name in the distance.

As soon as my blade excited the wolfs neck, the snake uncoild from around the wolf. It was panicked, I'd... never seen it act that way, it tried to wrap itself around me. But it was too late, now I see..... I'm already dead.
