[Jikan Kitsune was too mysterious, even I only heard it in stories, they are supernatural creatures who controlled time, they're rare as only one Jikan Kitsune can exist.] Noshiko continued to type as they both kept on passing the phone.

[Why is that?] Satomi asked, intrigued by the uniqueness of the Kitsune.

[There were many stories and rumors but it's said that a Jikan Kitsune can travel through time, only one can exist at a time before they die. That's why many people are interested in them. It was said that a Jikan Kitsune could see your past and future in just one look.]

Satomi took a deep breath seeing this she knows how much temptation was to know about your future and even more so if you can travel back through time and change anything.

[So that means Lucian was the only Jikan Kitsune, and he can do all that?] Satomi typed hurriedly, eager to learn more.

[Well, he probably can't do that yet, since he just transformed. That's why we need to hide it even more. Jikan Kitsune are meant to reach the limit of a Kitsune, becoming a Guardian. It means it's just a matter of time before he becomes incredibly strong.]

Noshiko typed, showing the message to Satomi while looking at her with a serious expression.

[Guardian, what is that?] Satomi typed, a sigh escaping her lips. Her new beta was proving to be more trouble than she had anticipated.

[There are 13 types of Kitsune, and within those 12, there are maybe 5-10 Kitsune of each type. Guardians are those who are the strongest in their attributes and then get Blessed by the world, becoming the strongest in their type. They become unique and they are the ones who guide and guard the world from those who abuse the power they came from.]

Noshiko typed the message, showing it to Satomi, before deleting it and continuing.

[That's why Jikan was meant to be one of the Guardian Kitsune as the only one in that type of kitsune.]

When Satomi saw what Noshiko had typed, she massaged her temple, feeling overwhelmed by the new revelations surrounding her beta.

Knowing that the situation needed to be addressed immediately, Satomi looked toward their group, focusing on those who had witnessed Lucian's aura, Talia, Deaton, Raizo, Mika, and finally, Noshiko and herself.

Satomi's eyes narrowed, her gaze intent, before she took the phone. [Then can you erase that civilian's memory?] She showed the message to Noshiko.

Noshiko's eyes narrowed as well, already knowing what Satomi was planning. She took the phone and started typing with focus, showing it to Satomi.

[I can remove a memory, but what we need is not to remove her memories, but to modify them. Her soldier companion might become suspicious if we just erase them.]

Seeing this, Satomi sighed again, knowing it was troublesome to be targeted by the military. Then she took the phone.

[Then can you do it?] Satomi showed Noshiko as she looked at Noshiko straight in the eyes.

Noshiko looked at the phone before she nodded at Satomi as she took the phone.

[I'll try but I may need that Gumiho's help]

Reading what Noshiko typed, Satomi nodded towards Noshiko, a sign of her agreement with Noshiko's plans.

As they walked back towards Lucian, they felt something falling from the sky towards their location. Their eyes glowed, looking up, and finally seeing a pair of earrings dropping to the ground. They looked at them with wary eyes, full of scrutiny.

Meanwhile, Kim Yoo-ri, fascinated by Lucian, also felt something falling. She looked down and saw the earrings on the ground.

Her pupils shrank as she recognized them instantly. She knew whose earrings they were. She looked up to the clouds but she wasn't as powerful as Areum and the others, so she couldn't see that far. She sighed, knowing her limitations. She walked towards the earrings, picking them up, when her fingertips touched them, the earrings glowed with a white, hazy light, and a voice echoed in her mind, a message from Areum.

(Give it to my son it will help him conceal his appearance)

Kim Yoo-ri's eyes widened hearing Areum's voice but instantly became calm, already getting used to it when she was with them.

As she nodded, agreeing with Areum's decision to help her son hide his appearance. 'He will attract too much attention,' she thought while her mind dwelled towards Lucian's appearance again when Areum's voice continued.

(And don't let any useless girls get close to my son, kill them if they won't stop) Areum's voice became a cold tone.

Kim Yoo-ri shuddered, knowing that Areum wasn't joking. She would have to do as she was told. If Areum found out she had disobeyed, she would be the one punished.

(Oh and finally, when he became supernatural creature his emotions will become unstable maybe he will need someone to help him vent it, you know what I mean Hahahaha)

Areum's voice was full of teasing with a hint of something darker in her laughter.

Kim Yoo-ri nodded, understanding Areum's words. She had witnessed Lucian's emotional instability firsthand, the way he had attacked his pack mate, who was his Alpha in a fit of rage.

Then, Kim Yoo-ri's face turned red and she started coughing, imagining what Areum was suggesting. 'What kind of supernatural creature can that brat be?' she thought, unable to control her thoughts as she remembered his handsome features.

She heard footsteps approaching, causing her to raise her head. She saw Noshiko and Satomi standing before her, looking at the earrings in her hand with questioning expressions.

"And that is?" Satomi asked, raising her brow. It was suspicious that a pair of earrings had fallen from the sky.

"A gift that can cover his appearance," Kim Yoo-ri answered, her eyes fixed on Noshiko, knowing that Satomi didn't remember Areum.

Noshiko's eyes widened but instantly calmed. 'It makes sense that his mother would come to see him transform, but did she plan all of this, his becoming an Alpha? Or even a Jikan Kitsune?' she thought, a shiver running down her spine.

She shook her head in denial. 'No, even if she was a Guardian, she shouldn't know that was possible. I must be thinking too much,' she thought, not wanting to believe that Areum had calculated everything, including Lucian becoming a Jikan Kitsune.

"Is that so, that's good then." Noshiko simply said as she took a look at Lucian. 'What a dangerous boy,' she thought, thinking about how many girls will Lucian harm in the future.

Satomi looked at Noshiko with a raised brow, with a questioning look not understanding what they were talking about.

"I'll explain later." Noshiko whispered to Satomi before turning to Kim Yoo-ri. "Can you modify a memory?" Noshiko asked.

Kim Yoo-ri looked at Noshiko with curiosity, 'this ahjumma to think she would ask me for help,' she thought, knowing fully well how Noshiko hated her.

"I can try, but maybe I'll fail. It depends on the person's will." Kim Yoo-ri said before she looked at Noshiko up and down. "And can't you do it?" Her tone was plain as she knew by experience that kitsune can change memories, as Areum kept on doing it when they were traveling while Lee Yeon used it to make mortals forget their encounter with supernatural creatures.

Noshiko, hearing Kim Yoo-ri's plain tone and seeing her doubting look, couldn't help but clench her fist. She sighed in defeat. If it had been a simple memory removal, it would have been easy, but modifying it would be more challenging for her.

She was a nine-tailed Kitsune, not because of her strength but because of her age, growing for every century she had been alive.

"I can do it, but I might fail." Noshiko said, acknowledging her limitations. They needed the memory modification to work perfectly.

"We need this to work, no one should spread what kind of kitsune Lucian is." Noshiko said, meeting Kim Yoo-ri's eyes. She knew that Kim Yoo-ri was probably the one that needed to protect Lucian the most with her connection to his mother.

Kim Yoo-ri's face finally turned serious as the topic was Lucian. She nodded at Noshiko, looking at Deaton and Raizo and finally her eyes landing on Mika, who was not connected to Lucian founding her target, as her eyes narrowed before her iris turned amber while her pupils became a slit as her claws popped out.

Without even Areum teaching, Kim Yoo-ri had always been ruthless, thinking it's better to get rid of Mika to not risk any exposure.

"No, what are you thinking, the soldiers that she came with will come for us if you kill her." Noshiko whispered, grasping Kim Yoo-ri's arm, stopping her.

"Just follow me." Noshiko said as she sighed before turning towards Satomi. "We can handle this on our own." Noshiko nodded at Satomi before walking towards Raizo with Kim Yoo-ri trailing behind.

Satomi looked at Noshiko's back before walking to Lucian, her eyes filled with worry. Her new beta was a handful but she had bitten him, and he was already part of her pack, part of her family.

As the bond of an alpha and beta was closer than a mother and child.

Noshiko finally stopped behind Raizo, Deaton, and Mika, making the three turn back as they looked at her.

"I'll be direct. We need to modify your friend's memories to keep Lucian safe. No one should know what kind of supernatural creature he is." Noshiko said, looking at Raizo, knowing that he would be the only problem if they modified Mika's memories.

"Why are you talking to him, when it's my memory you're talking about?" Mika said, taking a step back, away from Noshiko and the others, her hand instinctively reaching for her gun.

Then Mika heard someone getting close behind her, making Mika turn, and finally, she saw Talia who was still in a wolf form, looking at her intently making Mika tremble.

Talia didn't know what Noshiko planned on doing but she would help her.

"Do you have to?" Raizo asked with a frown.

"Raizo, don't tell me you will let them change my memories!" Mika said as she looked at him with shock as she couldn't help but feel betrayed.

"Do I even have a choice here?!" Mika asked, shouting at Noshiko, her anger escalating.

"Lucian is a kitsune that everyone is greedy for, but they're also frightened at the same time. If people find out what he is, many people will go after him, and if they don't get what they want, they will do their best to kill him." Noshiko said towards Raizo before looking at Mika.

"Ask yourself if you can trust her not to say everything that happened here to her General or even her friends?"

Noshiko asked, her voice steady, as her gaze on Mika was unwavering.

"I won't say anything I promise, just don't get in my mind." Mika said as she took her pistol aiming at them. "Raizo, trust me." Mika couldn't help but say as she looked at Raizo, her tone full of pleading.

Raizo closed his eyes as he thought before opening them and looking towards Lucian and thinking about the kids, his mind filled with conflicting thoughts. 'I couldn't risk it,'

he thought before he sighed, whispering under his breath so Mika could not hear.

"Do it."

Talia, who had heard Raizo's voice, was the first to react. She rushed forward, slapping Mika on the back with her paw, pushing Mika to the ground.

Mika dropped her gun in surprise from the sudden attack as she struggled under Talia's paw. "I thought you were my friend!" Mika shouted towards Raizo as she continued to struggle.

Raizo turned his back on her, his eyes closed, his heart heavy with the decision he had made.

Noshiko and Kim Yoo-ri walked in front of Mika. "Stay away from me, you monsters!" Mika screamed in anger and despair, knowing that she couldn't stop them.

Noshiko knelt down as she put her hand on Mika's head, her eyes glowing purple, focusing intently.

But Mika slapped Noshiko's hand away, glaring at Noshiko and Kim Yoo-ri. "Get your hands off me!" she shouted,

her voice filled with rage.

Noshiko didn't react, instead, she used more force, holding Mika's head, pushing it down to the ground. Her purple irises glowed intensely, her power filling the air.

Mika tried to shake her head but Noshiko's grip held firm.

She could only look at Noshiko with anger. "You bitc-" Mika didn't finish her sentence, her eyes going blank, her face becoming emotionless.

Noshiko closed her eyes, her concentration unwavering as she whispered, "Help me."

Kim Yoo-ri's amber eyes focused on Mika, modifying her memories. They worked together, their powers intertwining until Mika collapsed, her eyes closed.

While Noshiko nodded at Talia and Kim Yoo-ri before she stood up as she walked towards Raizo.

"Go. You should be the one waking her up. We changed her memories, making Lucian appear as a wolf who lost control, attacking Satomi. But she stepped in, so Lucian knocked her out." Noshiko explained to Raizo, trying to keep her explanation simple, so he would act naturally.

Raizo frowned with a sad look on his face, clenching his fist. "Can you do it for me as well? Since you said only a few should know right?" He took a breath, making a decision as he looked at Noshiko in the eyes.

Noshiko looked at him for a moment. 'Is everyone from the Ozunu clan this stubborn,' she couldn't help but wonder before she shook her head at Raizo.

"No, Memory manipulation will only work if you don't have a strong will." As she looked at Raizo up and down. "So even if we change your memory sooner or later you will be just troubled by then." Her voice laced with seriousness.

Raizo sighed as he walked towards Mika while Talia and Kim Yoo-ri moved away from them.

Raizo knelt down before a worried expression appeared on his face while he shook Mika on the shoulder.

"Hey Mika! Are you okay, wake up!" Raizo shouted as he shook her.

"Mmm~" Mika's eyes fluttered open.

She looked at Raizo with confusion. "Raizo?" she whispered, a sharp pain shooting through her back.

"Ah, what the hell." she blurted as her hand instinctively reached for her back.

Making her gasp in pain as she touched the spot.

Before a memory flooded her mind.

She looked at Lucian with anger. "Fucking kid." she said, her gaze falling to her gun on the ground. She tried to reach for it.

Raizo caught her arm. "He's already calm. You shouldn't have stopped him in the first place." Raizo said, trying to calm her down.

"What do you mean-Ah fck." Mika wanted to argue but the pain in her back kept stopping her.

Raizo sighed, a flash of sadness crossing his eyes before disappearing. "You should go rest first, okay? Since he's already calm,

I'll make him say sorry to you when he wakes up from meditation." Raizo said, trying to soothe her.

"He better say sorry." Mika mumbled, slowly lying back down.

Noshiko observed them before turning to Talia, who was walking towards her.

"You had to be so hard on her, didn't you?" Noshiko said, her voice laced with a hint of amusement.

Talia just snarled at her before lying down, her gaze fixed on Lucian.

"Do I need my mind erased as well?" Deaton asked, knowing the seriousness of the situation as he looked at Satomi, who would be the first one to stop what they're doing if not needed.

Noshiko looked at him before shaking her head, "No, we just modified her memories so she can't spread it from her companions."

"Then can I ask what he is?" Deaton asked, his curiosity piqued. Lucian's transformation had been so drastic, he had essentially become a new person.

"Not just because I won't change your guys' memories, doesn't mean I will tell you guys anything, you should just forget what you saw." Noshiko said coldly, crossing her arms, her gaze fixed on Lucian.

As everyone, like her, couldn't help but focus on Lucian's appearance.

While they were observing Lucian in the Soul Space, something indescribable was happening.
