Chapter 6
The Power of a mother:
Camilla, Gabriel and Sally are sorrowful and in shock. With the death of Ben and Zyan all hope is lost.
Auto: My princess, I am so sorry I couldn't protect you. I have failed you. If only I got there on time, you'll still be alive. I wish I could relive every moment with you.
(Gabriel remembers the Dic Worper).
Gabriel: Relive? Auto is there a Dic Worper on this ship?
Auto: Yes, there is. Wait a moment, how do you know about a Dic Worper?
Sally: What's a Dic Worper?
Gabriel: Zyan explained it to me yesterday; she said the Dic Worper had the power to reinstate organic and inorganic matter. Auto, can it be used to bring a dead person back to life?
Auto: In Theory it can, but it has never been done before.
Gabriel: There's always a first time for everything. Mom Help me get Zyan's body on the table. Alright, Auto, how does it work?
Auto: It can't be used unless you think of the password and place it directly on her forehead.
Camilla: Okay what's the password?
Auto: I do not know. My Princess did grant me access to the password and information to open her Dic Worper. But she changed it about the day I was repaired. It could be something she always wanted but never had.
Gabriel: What are we going to do now? What is something Zyan always wanted?
(Sally remembers her conversation with Zyan, about finding a home).
Sally: Home! I think I know the password.
Gabriel: What is it?
Sally: Its home, what Zyan longed for the most was a Home with a family that loved her.
Gabriel: Alright then.
He thinks and the Dic Worper activates, he places it on her forehead, and immediately it heals her completely. But she doesn't wake up.
Camilla: Auto, she's not waking up, it's not working?
Auto: The radiation from Dic Worper was enough to heal her, but it has also placed her in a temporary state of suspended animation. She won't wake anytime soon.
Gabriel: At least she's alive.
(Auto networking system starts to sound an alarm).
Sally: What that noise?
Camilla: Auto, what is going on?
Auto: I suspected something was wrong in Earth's atmosphere not very far away, so I scanned the entire Earth and found a very pressing new development.
Gabriel: What is it?
Auto: I found a very powerful weapon of the enemy, uploading holographic images now.
(Auto shows a hologram of the world destroyer).
Auto: This is a Volgan weapon called the world's destroyer; it landed on the surface of the Earth 36 hours earlier, and drilled its spikes to the center of the Earth's molten core. If it succeeds, it will release radiations to the Earth's molten core and that will result in a chain reaction causing the whole planet to overheat and explode. I have analyzed the machine and broken down the schematics. All we have to do is to destroy its energy source, but in order to do that we must first enter two chambers that are heavily guarded by Sentinel beings; they protect the power core of the world's destroyer. One of us will have to enter the third chamber and implant a bomb with a timer near the power source, and escape within 7 minutes. We have 6 hours to do so or the Earth as we know it will be no more. We are Earth's last hope.
Camilla: Okay, we have a plan for stopping the machine but what of the monster who killed my son? How are we going to put him down?
Auto: My princess and I have been studying Volgan Physiology for years, and we have actually found out that their skin is one million Times harder than diamond. Diamonds have a polymeric structure with Multiple C-C single covalent bonds; and the bond energy are very high, but can be broken under very high temperature.
Gabriel: Yeah, that true, diamonds are the hardest naturally occurring substance on Earth with a melting point of 4500 degrees Celsius, but if placed in a substance hotter it will melt. But where are we going to find a substance that is hotter than lava, even lava can't melt Diamond, 1250 degree Celsius isn't going to work.
Auto: I have a solution; my power source is made from Cyan Energy. It has temperatures more than 27 million degrees Fahrenheit.
Sally: That means it's hotter than the core of the Sun.
Auto: Yes, if I can release my energy on him at full power it should be able to weaken him, and make him very vulnerable to attack.
Sally: Alright then, let's do it.
Camilla: No, I will do it. Gabriel you will stay here with your sister.
Gabriel: But Mom....
Camilla: No buts, I've already lost your brother, I can't lose the both of you too. Listen to me carefully, the two of you will remain on this ship, and I'll do what needs to be done. Am I understood?
Sally: Yes Mom.
Gabriel: Okay fine, okay we'll remain on the ship.
Auto flies into action, using missiles and lasers to attack the Wolds destroyer, the energy blast fired creates a hole; they fly in and come face to face with the Sentinel guards. Auto creates a distraction for Camilla to be able enter the third chamber. But the Sentinels attack at full power and fire energy blasts that immobilize Auto out of the fight causing a deadly crash.
Meanwhile
Camilla makes her way through the hole of the third chamber and encounters mutated worms, she fights them off but gets injured in process while bleeding she plants the bomb and activates it. She runs as fast as she can while bleeding. The Sentinel guards get hold of Gabriel, about to kill him. Sally gets scared and frightened. Immediately her eyes glowed purples and she releases an energy blast that disintegrated them. Gabriel is shocked; unable to understand what just happened.
Camilla: We have to go now! We don't have much time!
They all enter the ship, at the same time Auto's system comes back online. The world's destroyer begins to explodes and the blast gets closer and closer, but at the nick of time the ship escapes and flies away just as the worlds destroyers completely gets blown up, but Morah-Zoran's giant Armada fires a destructive energy blast that sends the ship crashing down.
Quarcor: My Lord, The Calvian ship has been intercepted and nullified. It's safe to say that with the world's destroyer gone; we are lucky; it seems we finally have her.
Morah-Zoran: We have more than luck Quarcor.
As the dust settles Camilla wakes up gently helping her children out of the ship as they come face to face with Morah-Zoran at a distance.
Camilla: Sally, Gabriel, run now. Go!
She reaches for a weapon in one of Autos armory and fires continuously at Morah-Zoran with no effect what so ever.
Morah-Zoran: Where is the Calvian? Where is Zyan?
Camilla: She is the least of your problems.
Morah-Zoran: I must commend your efforts, you destroyed my world's destroyer, and no being as ever accomplished that. But I won't stand further delays. Where is the Calvian?
Camilla: It's me you should worry about. You killed my son; you will regret that.
Morah-Zoran: You dare stand in my way? Your primitive species are nothing more than cockroaches; I do not take pleasure in killing insects. Nothing is going to stop me from going back home. Tell me, where the Calvian is! Or I will crush your head like I did your son!
Camilla: Hear me you son of a bitch! You will pay.
She continues firing the weapon at him. As this is going on, Gabriel and Sally are still running. Sally stops.
Gabriel: Sally, we need to go now!
Sally: We can't leave her; we can't leave Mom alone with that thing, we have to go back.
Gabriel: No! We have to run, we have hide, there's nothing we can do, and we need to keep moving.
Sally: What? How can you say that? Ben was right, you are a coward. If you want to run that's fine; but I'm going back for Mom.
As she turns Quarcor grabs her by the neck, Gabriel runs to defend his sister, but he easily gets tossed aside. Quarcor grabs her with force, choking her.
Quarcor: Humans, you're all so fragile and powerless; nothing can stop my master, nothing.
Gabriel: Let her go!
Gabriel gets up again running in anger, to attack, but he too gets grabbed by the neck, in a choke hold. But, before anymore damaged is done, Gabriel reaches for he's back pocket and stabs Quarcor with a knife from his chin upwards killing him. Gabriel runs to his sister and helps her up, just as her wounds begin to heal.
Gabriel: Are you okay?
Sally: Yeah, I'm, I'm okay.
Gabriel: I'm not a coward.
They hear their mother scream, and rush in, as Morah-Zoran grabs her by the neck, Sally releases an energy blast that sends him flying backwards. Camilla is surprised to what just happened. Morah-Zoran gets back up without any harm done to him. As he prepares to smash Camilla with his war hammer, Zyan burst out of the ship and stops the hammer with her hand and punches him in his face sending him flying backwards.
(She levitates).
Morah-Zoran: You're alive, good. Now, I can enjoy killing you all over again!
Zyan: Hear me ogre! You've made a big mistake, you hurt my family! Now, it's personal.
They both charge at each other with so much power and force, creating shockwaves as they collide. Zyan uses her speed in battle flying and punches him all around with her strength. At first it seems she's winning, but Morah-Zoran over powers her and begins to dominate the fight once more, as he stumps her head.
Morah-Zoran: You are done Calvian! You defend this pathetic excuse for a civilization; they are nothing more than cockroaches! You cannot win, you are an outcast. You have no army, no Calvary. You are all alone.
Zyan: You're wrong, I'm not alone anymore, and I have a family.
(Sally runs towards them and screams).
Sally: Get away from my sister!
She releases an energy blast on Morah-Zoran but this time it does nothing to him, absolutely nothing. Gabriel runs into the already destroyed ship of Auto, and removes the weapon connected to the ships power source.
Gabriel: Sally! Get down!
He shoots the beam at Morah-Zoran and it begins to break his armored skin and burns parts of his body. He falls on one knee. Before he could react, Zyan speed blitzes him to the ground.
Zyan: Submit! You are beaten.
Morah-Zoran: Surrender? Never! Even if you kill me, my Armada is design to self-destruct, if I was to ever loose in my conquest. The entire surface of this primitive world will seize to exist; extinction is the fate of all life on this worthless, insignificant planet. They are cockroaches... They are insigni...
Camilla stabs him at the back of his head, passing through his mouth with Zyan's sword; she cuts of his head.
Camilla: But you just got killed by one.
(Immediately the Armada begins to fall from the sky).
Camilla: What's happening?
Zyan: The Armada is going to explode taking all life on Earth along with it. I have to stop it; I have to push it into space.
Camilla: That thing looks bigger than a skyscraper; it must weigh thousands of tons.
Zyan: If I do nothing, Earth will die, and I can't let my family be hurt. Thank you, for everything you have done for me Camilla, thank you for showing love to a stranger and making me part of your family. I'm so sorry for all the pain and sorrow my presence has cost you. But I have to make this right, and take responsibility for my actions. Goodbye.
She then flies at super speeds toward the Armada, and carries the whole weight intercepting it from falling to the earth, using all her strengths to fly the massive Armada (the size of a small country) into space safely away from the earth. But then, it self's destructs and explodes at point blink range releasing shockwaves that knocks out Zyan, sending her hurdling back to the Earth's surface, creating a large hole into the ground, with broken bone and blood rushing out of her mouth. She closes her eyes and everything turns black.
