Chapter 7
This is not the End:
Three days later Zyan wakes up in a hospital. She is confused as to where she is, she tries getting up, but she is too weak. Camilla walks into the rooms.
Camilla: You shouldn't be up, you haven't recovered. I'm surprised you're still alive. You took a nasty hit on reentry.
Zyan: How did I end up here?
Camilla: We found you a couple of miles away from where we were, you were hurt pretty bad, and we brought you to the Hospital.
Zyan: How? Auto was destroyed.
Camilla: Gabriel used the Dic Worper thing to fix Auto, that's how we brought you back, we thought you were killed.
Zyan: What about Sally?
Camilla: She fine she's with Gabriel; they went to get something to eat across the street.
Zyan: And what of Ben and Nana? I haven't seen them since I left.
Camilla: My mother, my mother and Ben are.
Zyan: What happened to them? Why are you silent Camilla?
(Camilla begins to cry).
Camilla: My mother and my son are dead.
Zyan: What?
Camilla: Aliens attacked us at the farm house and killed my mother, and Ben, he was killed by that monster, he was the very reason we were able to rescue you.
Zyan: I'm so sorry, Camilla I caused this, I brought them here, and they were after me. If I had left earlier none of this would have happened. It's my entire fault.
Camilla: No don't say that, you had nothing to do with my family's misfortune. You saved Earth from extinction, you helped my daughter walk again, and you kept us safe giving up your own life in the process. You gave me the time I needed to put an end to that monster; I got justice for Ben's death and for my mother. It's not your fault.
(She hugs Zyan as they both cry).
A week later, Zyan, Camilla, Gabriel and Sally all dress in black. They build a stone pillar for both Grand nana and Ben on the destroyed farm. They all mourned in sorrow, Gabriel steps forward to speak to the graves of his dead brother and Grandmother.
Gabriel: Nana, I'm so sorry that I wasn't strong enough, I failed you. I could have done more, maybe if was brave enough, I could have saved you. I'm so sorry. Ben you were right about me, I am a coward. I promise you, as from now on, I'll take care of Mom and Sally and I will be the man of our family. I will stand up to oppression, and I will no longer be scared. I swear to you, I will no longer be a coward.
They all say their goodbyes and leave.
Mid-credit scene:
One month has passed and summer vacation is over. Camilla drops Gabriel in school.
Camilla: Remember what we spoke about?
Gabriel: Yes, Mom I didn't forget.
Camilla: Be good okay.
Gabriel: I will.
Camilla: I love you.
Gabriel: I love you too Mom.
During lunch break, Gabriel is walking through the school's hallway to the cafeteria, until he gets pushed by groups of bullies. He gets back up. Duke, the main school bully slaps Gabriel on the cheeks as everyone watches.
Duke: Well, well, well if it isn't trash boy. How was summer vacation? Did you cry? Did you run to your mommy crying about how boring and how insignificant your life really is?
Gabriel: Seriously Dude, this again? You've been using that line since the first grade, if you insist on insulting me at least be original and creative about it.
Gym: Oh, look the looser can speak, he's such a loser.
Duke: Shut up Gym! Now listen to me, Trash Boy, if you speak again, I will beat your ass.
Gabriel: You will beat my ass, what a lame phrase for intimidation.
(Duke punches Gabriel on the face, launching him to the ground, every student stops to see his reaction. He gets back up).
Gabriel: You know what, you're not even worth it.
Duke: What did you say Trash boy?
Gabriel: You've been doing the same lame stunt since the first grade Duke, it's getting Old, we're not kids anymore.
(Duke takes hold of his shirt and slams Gabriel on one of the school's lockers).
Duke: If you say another word I will.
Gabriel: You'll what? Punch me in the face. I never really understood what I did to you all these years that made you decide to make my life a living hell, but now looking at you face to face, I finally understand. You are a very insecure little bitch. Your life is so miserable, you know that deep down inside you, you have no future, and you're good at nothing. You surround yourself with pimple looking freaks. Seriously how can only your face have Ebola? I'm a straight (A) student, and later on in life I'll own a company worth Millions if not Billions, and have a good life unlike you, you suck at everything. Your life is so miserable you can't accept the fact that you're ordinary, you're not special. You're nothing more than a pathetic loser, you pick on small feeble kids just to raise your own self-esteem, and I actually feel sorry for you. You're just Sad.
(Gabriel frees his shirt from Duke's Grip).
Gabriel: I don't fear you anymore. We are done here.
As Gabriel walks away, the entire students watch, they begin clapping for him, leaving the bullies to shame; as he smiles walking away.
Post Credit scene:
Zyan is sleeping on the bed (in her room of the Novas family), she begins to have visions of super powered strangers, who are supposedly her team mates, and they are being killed by her uncle Ultimow, she wakes up in fear.
She walks to the kitchen to get a glass of water, as she drinks the glass of water, she sees a portal opening, and a man walks out through it.
Zyan: Who are you?
Bryce: My identity isn't important, what I know is.
Zyan: Which is?
Bryce: There is a war coming to Earth. Let's have a little talk, Zyan of Calvia.
Zyan: How do you know me?
Bryce: Word about you has spread to the farthest regions of the known Universe and others that are unknown. Please have a seat.
(Zyan sits down).
Zyan: So, tell me, what information about me is there?
Bryce: Are you knowledgeable on who SIGMA is?
Zyan: Of course, I know who he is. He's a Sage, and as a people, they are a formidable threat. So, what do I have to do with them?
Bryce: Okay, let me put you up to speed. SIGMA, has completely decimated 99% of all life across his Universe.
Zyan: What? How's that possible?
Bryce: As I speak to you now, he has taken the life force of all life on every world, by harvesting their essence, their life force. He has an estimated army of more than 14 billion Blood Horns. He attacked my sanctum, and as the Saint Eagle.
Zyan: Wait? You're the Saint Eagle? Since when? What about Anub Graves?
Bryce: He's been indisposed.
Zyan: What?
Bryce: It's a long story. The point is, SIGMA is coming to Earth, and he wants to harvest all life on Earth. We have to stop him.
Zyan: Alright, so what do you propose we do?
Bryce: I'm putting together a team, you and me and the others.
Zyan: Others? You already have a team?
Bryce: Not yet.
Zyan: Alright, let's get to work then.
