Lord Yan, The Little Ancestor Has Fallen Off The Horse Again!

Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Two Alliances

"I saw your room light was still on and thought you hadn't slept, so I made you a cup of milk," Lin Xiang's gaze fell on her damp hair.

Yun Yue took it and drank it in one gulp, "Thanks."

"You're welcome."

Seeing she wasn't leaving, Yun Yue spoke up, "Is there anything else?"

Lin Xiang shook her head, "Nothing else, you should rest early, and remember to dry your hair before you sleep."

She had wanted to go in and chat with her, to get to know each other better and foster some rapport, but after spending the day with her, she knew she was a woman of few words, cold even. Anyway, she was going to live here from now on; there would be plenty of time to build a relationship.

Watching Lin Xiang leave, Yun Yue closed the door and went to her desk. She took out the laptop, sat on the bed, and with a gentle press, the computer turned on in two seconds.

As for drying her hair, she didn't have that habit; it was too bothersome, and it would dry naturally anyway.

The desktop of the computer was a light blue of the sky, devoid of any icons except for the mouse. She casually typed a few strokes on the keyboard, and a gray hacker website appeared. Her eyebrows raised when she saw the task listed on the homepage.

A hundred million, what a generous offer!

She browsed the gray website for a bit longer before logging out and opening WeChat directly on her computer.

A barrage of messages popped up, and at that moment a video call came through. Her index finger moved, and a video image immediately appeared on the screen.

The man in the video was casually swirling his wine glass and leaning on the couch, his pajamas half-open, revealing a bewitching face with a flirtatious expression.

Upon connecting, a pair of foxy eyes glanced over, shimmering with seduction, and a beauty mark by the eye corner mesmerizing to behold.

Men would be charmed at the sight! Women would be envious!

In short, four words: Irresistible to both sexes!

"Someone's offering a hundred million for your information, quite the lofty bid," Nan Jingchen clicked his tongue, "You'd better be careful, the other party is no small fry."

"Don't worry, as long as I don't reveal myself, no one can find me." Yun Yue's gaze rested on his bewitching face, admiring her own handiwork and wondering what kind of sensation it would cause if she posted his image online.

Thinking this, she silently took a screenshot, planning to release it when the opportunity arrived. With his looks, finding a rich woman to be his patron wouldn't be a problem at all!

Nan Jingchen feared she might think this way; her little tricks were nothing to the Black Alliance A. He kindly reminded her, "Don't bluff. If the other party gets to Black Alliance Y, tracking your information and movements would be easy."

"Black Alliance Y, you know, the top hacker... Forget it, you're just a kid, you won't understand. Just focus on your studies. Considering your age, you should be starting your senior year when school begins."

Nan Jingchen was aware she was underage and still in high school!

What was the use of enlightening her on these matters? It would only increase her pressure.

Nan Jingchen didn't know; the fact that she could rescue him from the Underground Alliance proved she was no ordinary person—although he had never thought deeply about it. In his mind, she was only fifteen at the time, and having such advanced medical skills was impressive enough.

Y, the chief hacker of the Black Alliance, neither wholly righteous nor evil, with no one knowing whether Y was male or female.

All they knew was that when Y made a move, it was bound to be earth-shattering!

Since rising to fame, Y had only appeared three times.

The first time, Y hacked into the Hacker Alliance and paralyzed their system, shocking the entire network!

The second time, Y penetrated the internal network of the International Police, stealing SSS-classified secrets, and to this day, the International Police have not given up on capturing him!

The third time was two years ago when he joined Black Alliance, becoming their chief hacker!

"You be careful too. The Underground Alliance has never given up searching for you. If they catch you, I won't come to save you again."

Two years ago, she had pulled him back from the brink of death at Ghost Gate. At that time, not a single piece of flesh on his body was intact, and his face was covered with bloodstains. If she hadn't performed a skin graft and plastic surgery on him, who could imagine him looking as eerily enchanting as he did now?

Nan Jingchen's fingers involuntarily traced his own face, the corners of his mouth sporting a faint, cold smile, "With this face I have now, even if I stood before the Underground Alliance Hierarch, he wouldn't recognize me."

If she hadn't saved him two years ago, how could he have experienced days free of hiding and the constant threat of losing his life? Honestly, if he could, he would choose to live like this for the rest of his life.

But he couldn't!

He still harbored a thirst for revenge!

He was determined to personally destroy the Underground Alliance!

He had watched Nan Xi being violated and seen her die before his very eyes!

He knelt pleading, crying out in a hoarse scream! At that moment, he felt as if his heart was being tightly seized, unable to breathe! The pain cut deep into his soul!

He hated his own helplessness!

Watching her fall in a pool of blood, tears streaking her face, a look of terror in her eyes, she smiled at him before she died, a smile that contained too much—relief, fond memories, unwillingness to let go...

He sat on the ground like a walking corpse, the bright red blood on the ground piercing his heart.

His soul seemed to collapse with her in that moment, thinking that perhaps death would be a release. Afterwards, they tortured him as much as they pleased, but he didn't utter a peep, like a walking corpse.

Later, Yun Yue appeared and pulled him back from the brink at Ghost Gate. While he was unconscious, the sentence he heard most was "Only by surviving can you avenge her."

It was this sentence that made him survive, so how could he possibly cling to this life and forget the vengeance for Nan Xi!

In the past two years, he hadn't been idle; given some more time, he would be able to develop that thing. Once used on a certain person, it would be invincibly powerful!

Yun Yue fell silent. She knew all too well of Nan Jingchen's hatred for the Underground Alliance. As a friend, she would only offer support, never trying to dissuade him.

The Underground Alliance, a terror organization, would stop at nothing to achieve its goals, one who falls into their hands would either be tortured to death or become one of them.

She knew that Nan Jingchen was a scientist, and that the Underground Alliance had captured him to force him to develop some kind of dark technology.

Nan Jingchen knew she was a doctor, and he also knew she was a hacker.

Although the two had known each other for so long, they were like strangers, never inquiring into each other's affairs.

After hanging up the phone, she turned off her computer, her index finger lightly caressing her lips, lost in thought.

When she was three years old, a neighbor moved next door. At the time, she watched him play on the computer, with its screen jumping around. She found it fascinating and impressive, so she followed his lead and started learning programming.

By the age of five, she had hacked into a hacker website, implanting her own Trojan horse and exiting without a trace.

At the age of six, she began to study medicine under her grandfather's guidance.

By nine, she had self-studied all high school courses.

When she was ten, her grandfather passed away, leaving her a book of medical notes, which she studied on her own.

The neighbor moved away the year her grandfather died, but came back three years later. She didn't know what he told her grandmother, but the latter agreed to let him take her away.

When she returned, it was two years later. By then she was fifteen and had stayed by her grandmother's side ever since, never leaving.

Not even her grandmother knew where she had been or what she had done those two years.

During those two years, like her peers, she attended high school for two years.
