Marvel: As Thor

Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Talk With Supreme Intelligence

In the messy laboratory, Yon-Rogg and his team looked ashen, their faces reflecting the aftermath of their failure.

They had initially believed that coming to this backward planet would be easy—after all, their mission was straightforward. Even the soldiers they brought with them were only meant to prevent Carol from completely losing control. However, things had taken an unexpected turn. They had met a force unlike any they had anticipated, and the fighting style of their opponent was brutal, almost as if they were dealing with a barbarian who lacked any sense of refinement or strategy.

The once-confident Kree soldiers were now a disorganized mess, their morale shattered. The Kree soldiers, once so proud and powerful, were now dead. Yon-Rogg, however, had managed to seize an opportunity. With all his might, he had knocked Mjolnir out of the laboratory, an action that gave them a fleeting chance to subdue their formidable opponent. Yet, even now, they could hardly believe they had come so close to failure.

Yon-Rogg's face darkened with frustration as he barked orders: "Take Foss away. The Supreme Intelligence will restore her to normal." He then turned his gaze to Thor, who was still under control. "Mineva, take this one to another room. He's a fine fighter, and the Supreme Intelligence will manipulate him. He will be ours."

The Supreme Intelligence, a being of immense power, was an aggregate of consciousness, with no fixed form. It was impossible for anyone to see its true appearance, or perhaps, it had none. It could take on the form of the person most important to the one who faced it.

At that very moment, it was confronting Thor.

"Uh, is that me?" Thor said, recognizing himself in the form of the Supreme Intelligence.

The Supreme Intelligence stared back at him, a sneer forming across its formless face. "I didn't expect him to be the type of person who is so full of self-importance, utterly narcissistic. You're only the second person like this I've encountered. The first one was Yon-Rogg."

Thor raised an eyebrow, clearly unfazed. "Really? But here's a thought: if the person who came to see you was a dog, what would you turn into? A rake?"

The Supreme Intelligence's face remained stoic, but its voice was low and dangerous. "You should know that provoking me is not wise."

"But it doesn't matter," it continued, extending its hand toward Thor. "You will soon become our soldier." A blue energy enveloped Thor's body.

Suddenly, Thor felt the weight of a tremendous force pushing against him. It was so overpowering that he could barely move. His head felt as though it was spinning, and he could sense the Supreme Intelligence trying to seize control of his mind. But Thor refused to give in. He fought to stay awake, determined not to let the entity take his will.

"Give up!" The voice of the Supreme Intelligence echoed inside his mind. "Without your weapon, you are nothing but a mortal now. You can't resist me."

Thor clenched his teeth as his body struggled under the immense pressure. It felt as though a millstone had been pressed against his chest, crushing him. His breathing became labored, each breath harder than the last. The pressure was building, threatening to break him, to suffocate him under its weight. It seemed like any moment now, the pressure would crush him entirely.

But then, something changed. Thor slowly calmed his mind. The overwhelming sounds and sensations around him began to fade. Time itself seemed to slow.

In reality, Mineva, who had been watching Thor's struggle, suddenly grew uneasy. A strange, foreboding feeling washed over her. She shook her head, trying to shake off the sense of dread, but what she didn't notice was the faint arc of electricity that began to circle Thor's hand.

The Supreme Intelligence, sensing Thor's continued resistance, began to intensify its efforts. It thought it had him trapped, but Thor's will was far stronger than it had anticipated. Still, it believed that this futile struggle would soon be over.

And then, a cold, mocking voice filled the air.

"I am the prince of Asgard, the god of thunder. With just one thought, the power of Bifrost will descend immediately. No one can leave me behind."

"As long as I call out in my heart, no matter how far away Mjolnir is, it will return to me instantly. Until it does, no one can stop me. Not even the trash outside."

"If I wish to escape, it's a simple matter. After all this time with you, what kind of illusion makes you think you can win?"

Thor's body began to tremble as he clearly felt the terrifying power within him stirring to life. His words were not just empty threats—they were the truth. Success was within his reach.

Meanwhile, Yon-Rogg and the others were fixated on Carol Danforth, their faces filled with growing concern. The tension in the air was palpable.

"She's trying to break free," one of the soldiers muttered. The energy within the station had started to waver, and the lights began to flicker. In the vacuum of space outside, dense, swirling dark clouds suddenly gathered, surrounding the station like an ominous storm.

Inside the illusion, Carol's previously fierce expression turned calm. "In the past, when I fought, I could only use half of my strength. But have you ever thought about what would happen if I asked you to restrain me?" As the chip fell to the ground and shattered, the illusion itself disintegrated.

A blinding golden light enveloped Carol's body. Her eyes opened, glowing with a brilliant, almost divine intensity.

Captain Marvel had officially been born.

At the same time, in the thunderclouds above, a massive bolt of lightning, nearly a kilometer wide, began to form. It coalesced into a spear of lightning, a thick, one-meter-wide spike of raw electrical energy that shot down and ruthlessly struck Thor.

The force of the blow nearly shattered the entire space station. Thor, bathed in purple thunder and lightning, slowly stood up. His eyes blazed with a piercing purple light, radiating the full might of his Asgardian power.

Thor was fully incarnate. A god unleashed.
