Chapter 35: Chapter 35: The Clear Sky Hammer

The Clear Sky Hammer wasn't just an ordinary weapon. In the world of Douluo Continent, it was recognized as one of the most powerful spirit tools.

In that world, every person could awaken a "spirit" at the age of six. Spirits came in countless varieties—animals, plants, objects, or even parts of the self. These spirits made life easier for ordinary people, but for those whose spirits awakened with "soul power," they could be used in battle. Such individuals became revered as Soul Masters.

The small hammer in Han Yu's hand was a spirit tool, and among all spirit tools, it was the strongest. Its attack power was maxed out to the extreme!

Between two Soul Masters of the same level, the one wielding the Clear Sky Hammer would easily dominate, even against multiple opponents at once.

For any Soul Master with the Clear Sky Hammer, victory was almost assured against same-level opponents. As long as they didn't recklessly squander their advantage, defeat was nearly impossible.

Han Yu muttered to himself, "Damn, I should visit Douluo Continent someday. I'll add a few soul rings to this Clear Sky Hammer so it can unleash its full potential."

Soul rings were items left behind by soul beasts—magical creatures that lived in Douluo Continent. The older the beast, the more powerful the ring it left behind, categorized as ten-year, hundred-year, thousand-year, ten-thousand-year, and even hundred-thousand-year rings.

The more Han Yu handled the Clear Sky Hammer, the more he fell in love with it. Despite his earlier disappointment with the earbuds, the results had turned out great. Not only had he gotten the Universal Smartphone, but he'd also acquired this legendary weapon.

If all three cards had resulted in something like the earbuds, Han Yu might have been tempted to slam his head into a wall.

After fiddling with the hammer for a while, Han Yu shrank it down slightly and placed it on his nightstand as a decorative piece. No one would ever guess that this small object by his bedside was an unimaginably powerful weapon.

Lying on his bed, Han Yu picked up his phone and started browsing the news.

"Protests against the Avengers? It's escalating fast," he remarked.

The Sokovia incident had made headlines worldwide. Although the public didn't know that Ultron was Stark's creation, the devastation caused by their battle was undeniable. Nearly three-fifths of Sokovia's landmass had vanished, a terrifying thought.

The financial losses alone were astronomical.

"Down with the Avengers! All they care about is themselves!"

"Where are they now? Probably back home, sleeping soundly."

"Hah, typical. They fight their battles, wreck everything, and leave. What a heroic job!"

Reading through the flood of malicious comments, Han Yu couldn't help but frown slightly. Sarcasm dominated the discussions, and any supportive remarks were quickly drowned out by vitriol. In some cases, users deleted their accounts altogether, afraid of drawing the mob's ire.

"It seems like they're in for a tough time. Hope they can handle it," Han Yu murmured.

These matters were no longer his concern. He had already done his part by destroying the falling island and defeating Ultron. Anything beyond that was up to them to resolve.

Meanwhile, aboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, the Avengers were gathered in the meeting room, and the atmosphere was tense.

Scrolling through the internet, they saw countless hateful comments, which pushed the boundaries of creative insults.

Banner couldn't help but avert his gaze. The criticisms had gone from discussing Sokovia to nitpicking their personal lives. The harshest comments were directed at him, focusing on the Hulk.

"Don't take it too seriously," Stark said, patting Banner on the shoulder.

Banner gave a bitter smile but said nothing.

Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., spoke up. "Considering Sokovia's population, the casualties were relatively low—only a few dozen. I've already sent Hill to handle the aftermath. But as for the financial losses…"

Fury's gaze shifted to Stark, who immediately raised his hand.

"I'll cover it. All the costs for the rescue operations will come out of my pocket," Stark said.

After all, he bore the greatest responsibility for the incident's cause.

"What about this Han Yu? Any updates?" Fury asked.

He brought up footage from the Sokovia incident on the screen, showing Han Yu and Ultron in action. First, Han Yu was seen clashing with one of Ultron's iterations. Then, the video cut to Han Yu obliterating the floating Sokovia landmass, reducing it to dust and taking control of the debris.

Thor watched the footage, muttering, "That's some terrifying power…"

"Thor, could you do something like that?" Captain America asked, pointing to the part where Han Yu shattered the massive floating island.

Thor shook his head. "No, not at my current level. I can't unleash lightning over such a wide area, let alone pulverize an entire island."

Within the Avengers, Thor was considered the most powerful member. For him to willingly admit as much about Han Yu's strength showed just how deeply impressed he was by it.

"Stark, you've been to his shop. What kind of person is he?"

Nick Fury asked again. The sudden emergence of someone with such overwhelming power on Earth was enough to raise alarm. The more they knew about Han Yu, the better.

Stark replied, "He seems like an ordinary young man from China, probably in his early twenties—or maybe even younger. Honestly, if he hadn't started a conversation with me, I wouldn't have known he was the owner of that shop. His general store appears to sell all kinds of strange items. One, in particular, was a Green Lantern ring. The energy contained within it far surpasses my Arc Reactor!"

The room fell silent in shock. Stark's Arc Reactor was a technological marvel in their world, coveted by countless nations. His technology was at least fifty years ahead of anyone else.

And yet, Stark was saying that something from Han Yu's shop outclassed it? Just how incredible was that?

Banner nodded in agreement. He had also encountered the Green Lantern ring and was well aware of its immense power.

Nick Fury said, "Here's what we'll do. We need to send someone to assess the situation. If he's an ally, that's great. But if he's a potential threat, we'll have to take preventive measures."

Allowing someone so powerful to roam freely without knowing their intentions was too dangerous.

"I'll go. I think I have the best chance of success," Natasha Romanoff volunteered confidently.

As Black Widow, Natasha trusted her charm and skills to handle the mission effectively.

"Alright, Natasha, it's settled. If possible, today would be an excellent opportunity. Don't let it slip away."

As a top-tier spy, Natasha had carried out countless similar assignments. If anyone could extract information smoothly, it was her.
