Marvel: Scientist Becomes God [R18]

Ye Hai followed Mystique toward a mountain peak. As they approached, the small mountain remained just that; halfway up the slope, a cave appeared, guarded by a saber-tooth tiger and several other mutants.

 The saber-tooth tiger seemed to have a keen sense of smell. He sniffed the air and then, with his dark eyes fixed on Ye Hai, quickly approached and said, "I feel like I've smelled your scent before."

 Ye Hai replied in a middle-aged tone, "Of course, we've met a few times."

 The saber-tooth tiger looked at Ye Hai in confusion and said, "Then why don't I remember you?"

 "I'm a weak mutant, and you're a big deal, so of course, I wouldn't leave a strong impression," Ye Hai said with a slight bitter smile.

 "What are you doing here?" the saber-tooth tiger pressed.

Mystique interjected, "Saber-tooth, I brought him here for a reason. Don't you trust me anymore?"

 After looking at Mystique, saber-tooth tiger nodded, "Alright, you may go inside."

 Ye Hai smiled slightly and followed Mystique into the cave, which had a long tunnel lined with metal structures clearly created using Magneto's magnetic control powers.

 Magneto had an exceptionally strong command over magnetic fields. He could manipulate steel to construct an entire building in mere minutes, so creating a base like this wouldn't take him much time at all.

 Inside the base, there weren't many mutants. Mystique informed Ye Hai that Magneto had brought only elite members this time to prevent Professor X from using his subordinates' brain waves to discover his plans. Furthermore, the White Queen also had telepathic abilities that could block Professor X's mental searches.

 Mystique led Ye Hai through several security checkpoints until they arrived outside a room. There were several mutants patrolling, among them a striking tall woman with long red hair, wearing a red coat over a black dress, complemented by red crystal high heels, resembling a princess in red.

 Seeing Ye Hai notice the girl, Mystique spoke softly, "That girl is Magneto's daughter, Wanda Maximoff. She's known as the Scarlet Witch and is skilled in using reality-altering magic. She's quite powerful, so we have to be careful."

 Ye Hai nodded slightly, asking, "Is that room in front of us our destination?"

 "The mutant machine is inside that room," Mystique replied. "We need to find a way to break in."

 "Can't we trick our way in?"

 "We can't. Only Magneto can go inside."

 "What if I transform into Magneto?" Ye Hai asked.

 "I can't do that. Do you see that iron door? It's a locked door that can only be opened with Magneto's magnetic control abilities. I don't have that capability, so transforming into him wouldn't help," Mystique said helplessly.

 "Then what if I become Magneto?" Ye Hai smiled slightly, his body shimmering like a wave, and then a middle-aged man appeared, wearing a helmet and dressed in black, with a red cape that looked quite impressive.

 "What… what is this?" Mystique stared wide-eyed at Ye Hai. "How can you also shapeshift?"
