Marvel: Scientist Becomes God [R18]

"I'm a multi-ability mutant," Ye Hai said in Magneto's accent. "Now, you understand why the Professor would allow me to come alone, right?"

 "You're truly a freak! I think I understand your ability now. You must have abilities similar to that little girl—you can absorb the powers of others, but unlike her, who loses her powers after contact, you can maintain them," Mystique speculated.

 Ye Hai was slightly taken aback; this was a good excuse for his multi-ability. He nodded and said, "What you said is correct; my ability allows me to copy other mutants' powers, but unlike Little Rogue, I need to obtain their blood."

 "That's a truly amazing ability," Mystique replied, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Ye Hai. "Your power is formidable; it reminds me of a powerful mutant we encountered decades ago. He could absorb powers by transferring his consciousness and had gathered many useful abilities. I believe you can accumulate many powers as well."

 Ye Hai smiled bitterly, "Copying abilities isn't that simple; there are many limitations. But let's not delve into that for now..."

"Alright, let's go over there first." 

However, Mystique shook her head and said, "I'm afraid that's not possible. You don't have Magneto's magnetic control abilities, do you?" 

"I don't," Ye Hai replied helplessly, "but I have Phoenix's telekinesis. I should be able to open that door, right?" 

Mystique furrowed her brow and replied, "That door weighs nearly ten tons. Can you really open it? You can't just use telekinesis to break things! You can't use your telekinesis to break an iron door like that; they'd notice something strange." 

Ye Hai laughed, "Ten tons, huh? That's quite a problem." 

"Well then, let's head over!" 

The two of them turned and walked forward. As they approached the corner, a few mutants spotted them and greeted, "Leader!" 

Ye Hai merely nodded seriously and then looked at the iron door. With a thought, a massive force of telekinesis surged forth, and it was as if an invisible hand was pushing the heavy iron door aside. 

The door swung open with a loud bang. Mystique's lips twitched as she thought, "Another man who can transform, just like Erik." 

Ye Hai gave her a small smile, and the two walked inside. The interior was all forged in steel, and every wall looked heavy and thick. The space inside wasn't very large but felt quite open, with no signs of the machine Mystique mentioned. 

"Where's the machine?" Mystique exclaimed, "This is bad; we've been tricked!" 

"Haha!" 

A person laughed heartily, "You just now realized it? That's a bit late, isn't it? Welcome, Dr. Ye, to the iron cage I've specially prepared for you." 

As he spoke, several people walked in, including Magneto, Scarlet Witch, White Queen, and a few other mutants. They all directed cold, mocking smiles at Ye Hai and Mystique. 

"Erik, it turns out you knew I would come looking for Charles. So you set this trap here." Mystique replied.
