Chapter 80: Marvel 80
On the far side of the island, the battlefield raged with an intensity that seemed almost apocalyptic. Kaido, in his towering dragon form, coiled around the smoking remains of a Marine division, his crimson eyes blazing with disdain. His deep, guttural laughter reverberated across the battlefield, shaking the ground and rattling the nerves of even the bravest combatants.
"You weaklings think you can tame me? Control me?!" Kaido's voice boomed like thunder, carrying a primal fury that sent shivers down the spines of everyone within earshot. With a deafening roar, he opened his massive jaws and unleashed a torrent of searing flames. The blast ripped through the Marine ranks, incinerating dozens in an instant. The screams of the unfortunate victims were drowned out by the roar of the inferno and Kaido's unrelenting laughter.
From above, his massive form darkened the skies, casting an ominous shadow over the chaos below. His tail swept across the battlefield like a battering ram, demolishing buildings and sending Marines flying like ragdolls.
Kaido's voice dropped into a mocking growl. "Is this the best the World Government can send? Pathetic. I'll raze this island to the ground before I bow to your pathetic laws!"
Not far from him, Big Mom unleashed her own brand of devastation. Towering over her enemies, she strode across the battlefield with Prometheus, Zeus, and Napoleon wreaking havoc at her side. Prometheus, a blazing sun, ignited swaths of Marines and CP0 agents, the fire spreading uncontrollably. Screams of agony filled the air as men and women scrambled to escape the relentless flames.
Zeus darted through the air, crackling with electricity, striking down anyone who dared to get close to the Yonko. "Mama! Mama! Let's fry these insects!" the thundercloud cackled, sending bolts of lightning crashing into the enemy ranks, leaving charred bodies and scorched earth in its wake.
Napoleon, her sentient sword, gleamed with deadly intent. In Big Mom's massive hands, it cleaved through Marines and agents alike with ease, its sharp edge cutting through steel like paper. "You think this is your fight?" Big Mom bellowed, her voice a shrill mix of rage and twisted amusement. "This is my island, and you dare challenge me here? Foolish little insects!"
A group of Vice Admirals, led by a CP0 agent clad in an alabaster mask, charged at her, their weapons glowing with haki. One brave Vice Admiral swung his blade at her, aiming for her neck, but Big Mom caught the blade mid-swing with her bare hand, haki shimmering on her skin. She laughed maniacally as she snapped the sword like a twig and swatted the man aside, sending him crashing into a pile of rubble.
The CP0 agent lunged, his movements a blur as he struck at her with precision. Big Mom didn't flinch. Napoleon intercepted the strike, and with a single swing, she sent the agent hurtling backward, his mask cracking from the impact. "So these are the World Government's assassins? Pathetic! Not even worth Prometheus' flames!" she sneered.
Kaido, noticing Big Mom's rampage, let out another booming laugh. "Charlotte Linlin! You've still got some fight in you, I see!" he roared, spiraling lower as his massive body crashed onto the battlefield with earth-shattering force. The ground quaked, and a nearby Marine battalion crumbled under his sheer weight.
Big Mom turned to Kaido, her face twisted into a grin. "Kaido, don't you dare think you'll take all the fun! These weaklings are mine to crush!"
For a moment, their eyes met, a brief glint of rivalry sparking between them despite their tenuous alliance. But their disdain for the Marines united them, their combined might turning the battlefield into a storm of unrelenting chaos.
Marines scrambled to regroup, but the overwhelming presence of two Yonko was too much. Vice Admirals shouted desperate orders, CP0 agents coordinated attacks, and even the mightiest of Marines found themselves overwhelmed by the sheer power and brutality of Kaido and Big Mom.
As explosions rocked the battlefield, and the air grew thick with smoke and the stench of burning flesh, the Marines and World Government forces began to realize the grim truth: they had underestimated the wrath of the Emperors.

Above the battlefield, Admiral Kizaru floated with his usual languid demeanor, the golden glow of his Pika Pika no Mi illuminating the smoke-filled sky. His hands casually formed a finger gun, and with an almost playful smirk, he fired a barrage of laser beams. The golden streaks of light streaked down like meteors, their deadly precision tearing through pirates, mercenaries, and revolutionaries alike. Explosions erupted wherever the beams struck, sending bodies flying and reducing fortifications to smoldering rubble.
"Yare, yare… such reckless violence," Kizaru mused, tilting his head as if bored. Yet, his attacks were anything but idle—entire swaths of fighters fell under his devastating onslaught. "Though I suppose I should clean this up before things get too out of hand."
On the ground, Fleet Admiral Akainu was a stark contrast to Kizaru's nonchalance. Every step he took was a force of nature, the very earth sizzling beneath his feet as rivers of molten magma dripped from his fists. His face was set in a grim, furious scowl, his eyes scanning the battlefield with unrelenting determination.
"Secure the Celestial Dragons at all costs!" Akainu's voice boomed, carrying over the chaos like the tolling of a funeral bell. "Kill anyone who opposes us! Pirates, revolutionaries—it doesn't matter. They all die!"
A group of pirate captains charged toward him, their weapons imbued with haki, shouting curses at the Marines. Akainu didn't even flinch. His magma-coated fist shot forward with terrifying speed, a torrent of molten rock and searing heat engulfing his enemies. Their cries were brief as they were consumed, leaving nothing but scorched ground and charred remains.
"Justice will be delivered," Akainu growled, stepping over the smoldering bodies. "No one escapes judgment today."
The Marines surged forward, their ranks a disciplined tide crashing against the chaotic waves of pirates, revolutionaries, and mercenaries. Vice Admirals barked orders, coordinating flanking maneuvers while CP0 agents darted through the melee with deadly precision, striking down key targets in the enemy ranks.
Pirates, ever defiant, roared their battle cries as they clashed with the Marines. Blades clanged against rifles, explosions shook the ground, and the air was thick with the acrid smell of gunpowder and blood. Revolutionaries fought with equal ferocity, their coordinated strikes showing their tactical prowess.
Amid the chaos, mercenaries fought for survival, their allegiances blurred in the bedlam. Some attacked the Marines to secure their freedom, while others betrayed their pirate employers for a chance at escape. The battlefield was a maelstrom of betrayal, desperation, and unrelenting violence.
From above, Kizaru's golden form zipped across the sky, moving at light-speed. A pirate crew had regrouped and attempted to fire a cannon at the advancing Marines. Kizaru materialized beside the cannon in an instant, his body shimmering as he aimed a lazy kick at the weapon. The explosion that followed sent the pirates sprawling, their cannon reduced to slag.
"Such troublemakers," Kizaru said with a sigh, his tone almost mocking. "You're making this much harder than it needs to be." He pointed a glowing finger at the dazed pirates, unleashing another beam of light that obliterated them without hesitation.
Back on the ground, Akainu faced a Revolutionary commander who attempted to block his path with a massive haki-enhanced strike. The magma admiral met the attack with his molten fist, the collision creating a deafening explosion. The Revolutionary's weapon melted instantly, and Akainu's follow-up punch sent the man flying into the ranks of his comrades, the heat radiating from his body setting nearby enemies aflame.
