Chapter 26: New York battle III

As Hulk smashed the Leviathan to a lifeless heap of metal and flesh, Michael approached the fallen creature. Hulk gave him a curious look, raising a brow.

"Need a ride?" Michael asked casually, placing his hand on the Leviathan's massive carcass. He mumbled an incantation under his breath, "Skeleton Rise."

Michael had mastered this spell to its peak, allowing him to raise any skeleton he desired. Though the type of undead that emerged dies not depended on the creature's essence but Michael's power-his Necromancy level, determined its form. In this case, he planned to create something extraordinary from the Leviathan—a skeletal mage of immense proportions.

Or so he hopes to create one, and if not then he will simply stick with a common Skeleton knight. But fortunately for him the spell worked, as he behold the transformation so did other Avengers helping evacuating the civilians.

As the spell took effect, the Leviathan's remains began to shudder violently. Its flesh started to disintegrate, peeling away in grotesque, steaming layers. The metal plates adorning its body corroded and crumbled, revealing the massive skeletal frame underneath. The air around it grew heavy, a sinister aura radiating as black flames erupted and engulfed the Leviathan's remains.

The process was horrifying yet mesmerizing. The skeletal structure of the Leviathan emerged, its bones glowing faintly with an ominous black energy. As the spell completed, the newly risen undead Leviathan stood tall, its hollow eyes blazing with eerie black fire. Its skeletal body emitted a deep, resonating growl as Michael admired his work.

[Blackflame Leviathan]

The undead behemoth exuded pure terror, its essence enhanced by the unholy energy coursing through its bones. Black flames licked its entire body, burning anything near it. With a guttural roar, the Blackflame Leviathan tested its new form by unleashing a massive torrent of black fire, incinerating a cluster of smaller alien creatures that were swarming the battlefield. The black flames consumed them entirely, leaving no trace behind.

The Leviathan hovered slightly off the ground, the dark energy granting it eerie mobility. As it moved, Michael smirked with satisfaction. "Perfect. You'll be a great addition to my forces."

The Avengers, watching from a distance, were left speechless. Even Hulk seemed momentarily distracted by the sight of the colossal skeletal creature.

"What... is that?" Captain America muttered, gripping his shield tightly.

Tony's voice came through the comms. "Well, that's... new. Anyone else feeling a little underpowered right now, or is it just me?"

"We're definitely going to have to keep an eye on him," Black Widow remarked, her tone wary.

Michael glanced over at the team, smirking as if he'd heard their concerns. He turned back to the Leviathan and commanded it with a wave of his hand. "Go. Tear down anything that threatens this city."

The Blackflame Leviathan roared once more and surged forward, its massive frame leaving destruction in its wake as it obeyed its master's orders with deadly precision.

The Blackflame Leviathan soared high into the sky, its colossal skeletal form radiating an intense black aura as it moved toward the portal. As it neared, it unleashed torrents of black flames, pouring them out relentlessly to create an impenetrable wall of destruction. Any Chitauri that dared approach were incinerated instantly, their bodies disintegrating before they could pass through.

Michael observed the scene, his eyes narrowing as he muttered to himself. "It's holding them off… but not for long."

"How much longer can it hold?" Captain America asked, his voice tense as he watched the Leviathan's unending assault.

"Not much," Michael admitted, his tone calm yet focused. "It may seem limitless, but even this has its limits. The flames will die down eventually."

"And what happens when more come?" Steve pressed, understanding the stakes.

Michael turned to him with a serious expression. "Then it's endless. But for now, we need to push through before that happens." His gaze shifted to Tony. "Stark, are you hearing this?"

"Loud and clear," Tony replied through the comms. "I'm bringing another Leviathan. Tell the big guy to be ready for a another smash."

Captain America nodded and relayed the plan to Hulk. "Another Leviathan is coming. Smash it!"

Hulk grinned, pounding his fists together with a roar. "HULK SMASH!" he bellowed, charging forward as the massive silhouette of another Leviathan emerged from behind the building. This one roared as it flew directly at the skeletal behemoth and Hulk.

Tony sped past them in his suit, jetting straight toward the portal. "Let's finish this," he muttered, pushing his thrusters to the limit.

Meanwhile, Hulk leaped into the air, slamming his massive fists into the new Leviathan. The force of his strike sent shockwaves rippling through the air, but the creature wasn't finished. It retaliated, its sheer size and momentum threatening to overwhelm even the Hulk.

Michael, watching closely, extended his hand and chanted once again. "Skeleton Rise!" As Hulk dealt a devastating blow to the Leviathan, Michael's magic took hold of the creature's fading life force. Its flesh peeled away as black flames engulfed its body, transforming it into another Blackflame Leviathan under his command.

The newly risen skeletal behemoth roared and immediately joined the fight, reinforcing the first Leviathan as they worked together to hold the line. Their combined black flames formed an even larger barrier, preventing any more Chitauri from descending into the city.

"Now we've got two of them," Michael said with a smirk, watching his undead army grow.

Tony's voice came over the comms, tinged with urgency. "There's only two more of them left and countless small ones."

Hulk roared again, smashing into yet another Leviathan as he chased after it. Captain America shouted orders. "Let's evacuate the civilians while they're holding the line! Move!" The Avengers sprang into action, ensuring the safety of the people as the battle continued to rage above them.

With the skeletal Leviathans standing strong and the Avengers working tirelessly, the tide of battle seemed to be turning—at least for now.

But Loki who just wakes up after he was blasted by tony , came to edge as he looked at the portal and saw it has been blocked by three weird Leviathans.
