MHA: A King's Legacy (BNHA x AOT)

Chapter 75: 75: Second Game

The first round featured a team led by Bakugo squaring off against a team captained by Momo. The moment Midnight gave the signal to start, Bakugo's explosive personality took center stage.

"PULL, YOU EXTRAS!" Bakugo bellowed, gripping the rope with both hands and anchoring his team with surprising strength. His teammates, including Kirishima and Kaminari, struggled to keep up with his intensity.

"Don't shout at us, Bakugo!" Kaminari whined, his arms trembling under the strain.

On the other side, Momo used her intelligence to coordinate her team's efforts. "Everyone, pull on my count! One, two, three—PULL!"

Her calculated approach kept her team steady, and for a moment, it looked like they might have the upper hand. But Bakugo, with his explosive determination, unleashed a sudden burst of strength that sent Momo's team stumbling forward.

"AND TEAM BAKUGO WINS!" Present Mic's voice boomed, accompanied by a roar of applause.

The following rounds featured equally entertaining matchups, with students showing off their quirks in creative ways. Mineta tried to use his sticky balls to glue the rope to his side, only to end up tangled in his own trap. Mina Ashido coated her hands in acid to gain a better grip, while Shoto Todoroki used his ice to anchor his team's feet, much to the dismay of his opponents.

The crowd loved every second, and the commentary from the VIP booth added an extra layer of entertainment.

"Look at that one with the sticky hair!" Seraphina giggled, pointing at Mineta's predicament.

Eleanor shook her head with a mix of amusement and disbelief. "That poor boy has no idea what he's doing."

Maximilian, who had been silently observing, finally spoke. "This event may be lighthearted, but it's revealing a great deal about their characters and how they approach challenges."

The Emperor nodded in agreement. "Indeed. It's fascinating to see how each of them leverages their unique strengths."

Aiden's Turn

Finally, it was Aiden's turn. His team, randomly assigned, consisted of Ochaco, Iida, Jiro, and a few other students from different classes. They faced off against Shoto's team, which included Sero, Tokoyami, and several others.

As the match began, Aiden held the rope with one hand, his relaxed posture earning groans of exasperation from his teammates.

"Aiden, take this seriously!" Iida scolded, his engines revving as he dug his feet into the ground.

"Relax, Iida," Aiden said with a smirk. "I've got this."

True to his word, Aiden activated his quirk. Golden energy surrounded his hands, and the rope suddenly seemed lighter for his team and heavier for Shoto's.

"Is he altering the weight of the rope?" Tokoyami muttered, struggling to maintain his grip.

Shoto narrowed his eyes. "Typical Aiden."

With a single pull, Aiden's team yanked the rope across the line, securing an easy victory.

"AND TEAM AIDEN WINS IN RECORD TIME!" Present Mic announced, his voice brimming with excitement.

The crowd erupted in cheers and laughter, while Aiden bowed theatrically to his adoring fans.

From the VIP booth, Eleanor clapped enthusiastically. "That's my boy!"

Seraphina rolled her eyes playfully. "He really does love showing off."

As the tug-of-war matches continued, Aiden watched from the sidelines, his mischievous grin growing wider with each round.

When the final match ended, he stepped forward and raised his hand.

"Midnight!" he called out, his voice carrying over the crowd. "I have a proposal!"

Midnight arched an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? And what might that be, Mr. Fritz?"

"I challenge the entire first-year student body to a tug-of-war," Aiden declared, his tone confident and playful.

The stadium went silent for a moment before erupting into laughter and cheers.

"Are you serious?" Midnight asked, clearly entertained.

"Completely," Aiden replied, cracking his knuckles. "Let's make it interesting."

The students quickly gathered, forming a massive team on one side of the rope. Aiden stood alone on the other, his golden aura shimmering faintly.

"Alright, everyone!" Present Mic's voice boomed. "It's Aiden Fritz versus the entire first year! Let's see if he can back up that confidence!"

The signal to start was given, and the students pulled with all their might. Aiden, however, barely flinched.

"Come on, is that all you've got?" he teased, holding the rope effortlessly with one hand.

Bakugo growled in frustration. "STOP PLAYING AROUND, YOU ARROGANT JERK!"

Aiden grinned and activated his quirk, tilting the odds in his favor. The rope began to glow, and the entire opposing team suddenly felt an immense weight dragging them forward.

"What the—?!" Mineta shrieked, clinging desperately to the rope.

"Pull harder!" Iida commanded, his engines roaring.

Despite their combined efforts, Aiden planted his feet firmly and began to pull. The students slid forward helplessly, their protests drowned out by the laughter and cheers of the crowd.

With one final tug, Aiden yanked the entire student body across the line, sending them tumbling into a comical heap.

"AND THE WINNER IS AIDEN FRITZ!" Present Mic shouted, his voice nearly drowned out by the thunderous applause.

Aiden struck a victorious pose, his grin as wide as ever.

From the VIP booth, Eleanor laughed so hard that tears streamed down her face.

Maximilian shook his head with a small smile.

As the students picked themselves up, Aiden walked over and extended a hand to Bakugo.

"No hard feelings, right?" he said, still grinning.

Bakugo slapped his hand away. "I'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME!"

Aiden just laughed, the sound echoing across the stadium as the crowd continued to cheer.

The tug-of-war may have been a lighthearted event, but it left an unforgettable impression on everyone present, cementing Aiden's place as the festival's most entertaining contender.

The stadium brimmed with energy as Midnight strutted onto the field, her whip in hand and her usual air of excitement filling the air.

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, prepare yourselves for the next event!"

Her voice echoed dramatically. "It's a combination of Quirk-based dodgeball and shadow tag! You've never seen anything like it, and you're about to find out why!"

The crowd roared, eager for the spectacle to begin. Eleanor Fritz leaned forward in her seat, adjusting her golden-trimmed parasol. "Oh, this should be amusing. Aiden always finds a way to spice things up."

Seraphina chuckled, nudging her mother. "You mean he finds a way to show off."

Midnight continued, explaining the rules. "This round is all about speed, strategy, and smarts! One unlucky player will start as the 'tag,' and it's their job to eliminate the others by either tagging them physically or hitting them with a dodgeball! Those tagged join the 'tag' team until only one person remains. Oh, and remember: quirks are not only allowed—they're encouraged!"

The big screen displayed the randomized selection for the first "tag," and the crowd collectively gasped, then burst into laughter when the name "Minoru Mineta" flashed across the screen.

"Yes!" Mineta cheered, pumping his fists in the air. "I'm gonna win this thing and get close to all the girls!" His eyes sparkled with inappropriate glee, causing a few groans from his classmates.

"That creep's gonna enjoy this too much," Jiro muttered, shaking her head.

The students scattered across the field as the music began to play—a lively and mischievous tune that set the stage for chaos.
