Chapter 7: Team work with Tetsutetsu

The arena buzzed with an electric energy as students from all classes dashed themselves from the starting line of the U.A. Sports Festival's Obstacle Race. Each competitor was clad in their standard sports uniforms, the blue and white design hugging their figures, its simplicity a stark contrast to the powerful quirks they would soon unleash.

"Let's shake things up!" Tetsutetsu bellowed, slamming his foot into the frozen ground with Monoma. The icy corridor trembled as if struck by an earthquake, cracks forming and spreading like lightning bolts. With a deafening crack, the ice shattered, freeing their fellow students.

"Move! Move!" Tetsutetsu roared, his steel fists clearing a path. "Make way for Class 1-B!"

Monoma followed closely, his metallic body unyielding as he barreled through the throng of students. "Let's keep it smooth, Tetsutetsu. Show them the real team work!" he said, smirking.

Behind them, Ibara Shiozaki and Itsuka Kendo grinned, their uniforms lightly dusted with frost. Shiozaki's green hair flowed behind her as she ran, her vines twitching with anticipation. Kendo, her orange hair tied into pigtails, beamed as she glanced at Monoma. "Looks like your plan is working, Neito!" she called.

Farther up the corridor, three students had already broken free from Todoroki's icy grip: Momo Yaoyorozu, Tenya Iida, and Katsuki Bakugo.

Yaoyorozu, her jet-black hair tied elegantly, glanced back at the frozen chaos with a faint smile. "A good effort, Todoroki-kun," she murmured, creating grappling hooks from her body to propel herself forward.

Iida, his engines roaring with fiery exhaust, gritted his teeth. Flames trailed behind him as he surged ahead. "You'll need more than ice to stop me!"

Bakugo, however, had no intention of subtlety. Explosions propelled him through the air as he screamed, "Oi! Half-and-half bastard! Where do you think you're going, huh?!"

The commentator, Hizashi Yamada, practically vibrated with excitement as he narrated the scene. "LOOK AT THAT! Todoroki takes the lead with his icy prowess! And right behind him are Yaoyorozu, Iida, and Bakugo—our star performers from the USJ incident! These kids know how to handle the pressure!"

The audience erupted in cheers, their voices blending into a deafening roar. However, the crowd's attention quickly shifted as an unexpected spectacle unfolded.

Bursting out of the shattered ice corridor came twenty students, all moving in unison under Monoma and Tetsutetsu's leadership. Their metal bodies glinted as they surged forward, their unity drawing gasps from the audience.

"WHAT IS THIS?!" Yamada shouted, his voice cracking with excitement. "A CLASS 1-B MASTERCLASS IN TEAMWORK?! THEY'RE MOVING AS ONE—ALL OF THEM MADE IT OUT TOGETHER!"

The stadium shook with applause as the crowd erupted into cheers for Class 1-B.

As the metallic sheen faded from Monoma's skin, his golden hair and sharp blue eyes stood out against the sunlight. With a confident smile, he addressed his classmates. "Alright, everyone, this is where we split up. Rely on your own skills from here on out, and don't get eliminated! The real festival begins now!"

His words drew grins from his teammates. Shiozaki's serene smile, Kendo's determined nod, and Tetsutetsu's enthusiastic fist pump set the tone for what was to come. "The fun's just starting!" Tetsutetsu roared.

The students of Class 1-B scattered across the sandy field, each pursuing their path to victory. Monoma stood momentarily, watching them disperse, his smirk widening. "This," he muttered to himself, "is the perfect entrance for Class 1-B."

Meanwhile, Izuku Midoriya, Ochaco Uraraka, and Minoru Mineta emerged from the corridor behind them, breathless but unharmed. Midoriya's eyes sparkled with admiration as he observed the strategy. "What a clever move. They worked together to clear the chaos. So this is Class 1-B…"

Uraraka glanced at the fallen students around her, some groaning as they tried to stand. "Looks like they didn't hold back," she said, her voice tinged with surprise.

Mineta gulped. "That metal guy and the blond one—they're like bulldozers…"

At the forefront, Todoroki finally faced the first obstacle: a towering green robot with a zero-point insignia. The colossal machine loomed over him, its red lights flashing menacingly. Dust swirled around its feet as it moved, each step shaking the ground.

The crowd leaned forward, their eyes glued to the scene.

"Todoroki's first challenge: the giant robots!" Yamada exclaimed. "How will he handle this?"

As the robot raised its massive fist to strike, Todoroki's cold breath misted in the air. "So, they brought these back from the entrance exams," he muttered, his voice calm yet sharp. A gust of icy wind swirled around him as his hair fluttered dramatically. "If you're going to bring these hulking scraps, you should've upgraded them first."

From Monoma's perspective, Todoroki's ice attack was a spectacle. Massive waves of frost erupted, engulfing the robot in an intricate lattice of ice. Monoma's eyes widened, his steel-like composure shaken by the sheer scale of the attack.

"Scrap?.." Monoma repeated in disbelief as the robot froze solid, its limbs locked in place.

The cold wind rippled through Monoma's hair, and frost formed on his shoulders. Todoroki stood amidst the icy devastation,
